Dear members I haad the following idea today: To learn a programming language, you have houndreds of tutorials an books on the net. But there are some things you just can't easily learn from the net. For example: How to make an audiogame with a ship that goes from left to right. I am sure that a professional programmer has to look before he can program it. That's just because you don't learn it in the standard programming books. So my question to audiogame developrs: Would it be possible for you to create some programming tutorials, with a bit basic and also with audio related things? Every developer can write the tutorial in his preffered language. Jim in VB, Thomas or Philip in C++ etc... What do you think? Hello I have to agree with Damien about vb6. VB6 is small, flexible and easy to learn. I am also learning c++, and ist a good language. But please don't start with visual c++... G It's terrible. It installs houndreds of programs on your system, it is large, you can't use it successfully etc... I tell everyone who wants to learn c or c++: Search for another good compiler than vb. [Audyssey] The beta team
Hello all One big problem I want to menzion here is, that I and my friend tryed to get into a beta-team. We couldn't enter, and we didn't receive an ansver about it. That's a problem in my eyes, because we were interested in testing it, and so I think the minimum would be to get an ansver from the developer saying that the team is already created. I don't know, but I feel that sometimes some people can come easily into the team, and others are trying and trying and couldn't do it. . So I think that nobody should be prefered. Hi guys! For my oppinion, the Number of games where have fund the market is very small in this year. We haave get acefire, develocity, puppy1, and that's it. It's a bit a pitty... I don't want attack one of the developers because I know what they work, it's just a suggestion I've made... And note, develocity is just a beta, so i think I can't cunt it as a released title... I also think that we couldn't expekt raceway for that year... Because Thomas Ward has haad much other things to do with his apartenemt. What I would say with that is that we don't have a very productive year and that the marked will be smaller and smaller! At the end, Thomas Wart is the only developer and he gets hundreds of emails from gamers with theyer wishes... And I would not be kritical guys, but why has james nord closed his commpany? Because you guys, yes! You guys have him sended so much e-mails and have he made stressed out! I don't cunt me because I am in this comunity since 2007 and haven't heard of james nord... But guys, be careful with your developers!!!
