I would just like to correct the misinformation circulated below. The Center
for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is a non-profit consumer advocacy
organization that provides accurate information about health and nutrition, and
seeks to advocate better regulation of foods and nutritional products. Its
board consists of many prominent medical professionals and experts on
nutrition, such as Dr. David Kessler, past commissioner of the U.S. Food and
Drug Administration. Please see the list of names of the board members at this

BTW, any of the Goanetters who have an interest in technical and scientific
details about this issue and can understand them I can provide the original

[Goanet] What is Virgin Coconut Oil

I saw a report whereby a Alzheimer patient was able to take the clock test

uncomfortable with alternative therapy.

Virgin coconut oil (VCO), extracted from fresh coconut meat
without chemical processes is said to be the mother of all
oils.  It is rich in medium chain fatty acids, particularly
lauric acid and is a treasure trove of minerals, vitamins,
antioxidants and is an excellent nutraceutical.

It has about 50% lauric acids, having qualities similar to
mother's milk, thus confirming its disease-fighting ability.

When lauric acid enters human body it gets converted to
Monolaurin, which has the ability to enhance immunity.
Several studies have confirmed that this compound has the
ability to kill viruses including herpes and numerous other
bacteria.  Its antiviral effect has the ability to
considerably reduce the viral load of HIV patients.

The health claims in the article posted in this thread about virgin coconut
oil are bogus. Those who are marketing and selling it as a wealth loss, heart
healthy, anti-aging, anti-HIV, anti-viral and anti-bacterial treatment are
endangering lives. Here is an article from the Center for Science in the Public

study, published in the 1940s.
5) Coconut oil has miraculous powers that stops the ageing process.
6) NASA uses coconut oil as a solid fuel in its rockets.
7) Male tigers are attracted by the sent of coconut oil.
8) Van Gogh used cooking coconut oil for all his paintings.

  vitamin E, is non-greasy, non-staining and is
widely used in soaps, lotions, creams and lip
balms. The health benefits of VCO are second to
none; ranging from speeding up body metabolic

arthrosclerosis.

Virgin Coconut Oil is also digested easily and does not

Coconut Oil improves the nutritional value if food by
increasing absorption of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
Virgin Coconut Oil is mainly based in cosmetic products which
provide skin health.

Coconut oil has several industrial applications, but Virgin
Coconut Oil is unique among all other vegetable oils because

Since Mother Teresa’s aims in serving the poorest of the poor in India and
elsewhere have been questioned recently, I would like to make the following
 clarifications.

Mother Teresa offered tender, loving care to those most in need, the
poorest of the poor, all over the world independently of their race, color,
nationality, cast or creed. In each human being, she saw a child of God,
created for greater things: to love and to be loved. Respecting this innate
value and dignity of each person, she endeavored to bring this love where
it was lacking, offering her humble service to whoever was in need, without
 considering their religious affiliation.

Mother Teresa believed that conversion is a work of God and that faith is
a gift. She respected every person, including atheists or agnostics, and
respected the faith they had or even lacked. Here is a short testimony of
someone who was closely associated with Mother Teresa for 23 years: “I am a
Hindu and I never saw the slightest evidence in all my 23 years of knowing
Mother Teresa in the Missionaries of Charity, of converting. …

When I asked her whether she converted, she answered, ‘Yes, I convert. I
convert you to be a better Hindu, or a better Muslim, or a better
Protestant, or a better Catholic, or a better Parsee, or a better Sikh, or
a better Buddhist. And after you have found God, it is for you to do what
God wants you to do.’ ” She wanted people to come closer to God (however
they understood Him) and believed that in this way they would also come
closer to each other, love one another, and ultimately create a world that
is better for everyone to live in.

The Constitutions of the Missionaries of Charity state: “We shall not
impose our Catholic Faith on anyone, but have profound respect for all
religions, for it is never lawful for anyone to force others to embrace the
Catholic Faith against their conscience.” This reflects the intention of
Mother Teresa herself, and the Missionaries of Charity follow in her
 footsteps.

[Goanet] What MPs want: Companion tickets, loans, phones in their wish list

2014-12-10 Thread Robin Viegas
From: bcsabha.kal...@gmail.com
To:

http://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/what-mps-want-companion-tickets-loans-phones/article1-1288087.aspx

Four years ago, the members of Parliament had given themselves a 300% hike in
salaries and managed to double their allowances. But that clearly wasn’t enough
for them. Now, a parliamentary panel looking into salaries and allowances has
put forward to the government a list of 27 perks — from cheap housing loan to
official vehicles to guest houses for lawmakers in all state capitals. The wish
list also includes a further enhancement in constituency allowance of MPs and
salary of their personal assistants. The panel further suggested that MPs should
be allowed to travel with “companions” and not just “spouses” in trains. At
present, MPs enjoy free first-class train travel anywhere in India with
spouse. The joint panel on salaries and allowances of MPs has so far held three
meetings since September on these issues but they are still waiting for the
Modi government’s response. The panel is headed by BJP MP Yogi
Adityanath.Lawmakers have also demanded security for chairpersons of
parliamentary panels when they move outside Delhi, MP’s quota in Kendriya
Vidyalaya to be at least 15 seats in a year, enhancing MPs local area
development (MPLAD) fund and giving diplomatic passport to former
MPs.Parliamentarians’ salaries and allowances are changed through amendment in
the Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members of Parliament Act.

In 2010, the amendment to the MPs’ salaries act hiked their monthly salary from
Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 50,000. Their constituency and daily allowances doubled from
Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 respectively. The panel,
however, now wants “study of salary, allowances, TA/DA etc. of MPs of foreign
countries for comparison with those existing for MPs in India.” It also sought
a permanent executive mechanism to give recommendations on salaries and perks
to the MPs from time to time. The NDA government is set to bring a bill to hike
the pension for MPs from the current Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month. The
bill also plans to enhance the rate of additional pension for each completed
year in excess of five years and include divorced or widowed daughters as
“dependents” of former MPs for family pension.

[Goanet] What is the priority

2014-10-30 Thread Nelson Lopes
 What is the priority?

Citizens need many facilities, which many be short term or log term. The
Govt, in its wisdom has been given mandate to do just that. It does not
however mean that the Govt. can ride rough shod in believing what is best
for them without gauzing the public pulse or sounding the public. The
arrogance of being in power, unanswerable, care two hoots, I know
everything attitude and what is best is not justifiable in a Democracy.
That is why in a Democracy a vigilant opposition is much essential to keep
the treasury benches under check and control, unfortunately both at the
centre and in some States, the opposition is badly mauled to be any force
and break towards authoritarian streak

The case in point is about necessity of bridge at Siroda and another
airport at Mopa ,People forget that in their travel journey they cross many
towns and villages where people have surrendered their personal preferences
and good for a larger benefit and goal. Siroda residents need better
connectivity with places in the state, saving time and money to reach their
destinations. The bitter objections makes no sense Politicians need
controversies as their essential diet to show their existence , feel
relevant and be counted more in the public eye to demonstrate their
unwarranted interests and concerns to perpetuate their being in corridors
of power for entirely selfish reasons .Are the bridges at Talpona, Galgibaga
etc given the preference they deserve in fast pacing their age old
requirements Two bridges connecting Navelim in Salcette was really needed
considering vehement objections be it political or rational after nearly
completing one of the bridges at public cost. Is the second Mandovi bridge
a burning necessity, when Zuari bridge is almost crumbling and likely to
disrupt a vital link between North and South

Are broadening of National, State Highways internal roads more important
and need to be prioritized? Acquired areas in 1986 are not even cleared of
encroachments and lying in limbo. The dangerous bends , curves causing
serious and fatal accidents are crying for attention

The Govt. is hell bent on pushing through Mopa airport, when there is
massive outbursts and opposition from all quarters. It may be a long time
need and the experts rather than layman are best suited to decide based on
economic and transport needs. The airport, not centrally suited can be a
bone of contention considering time to reach, road conditions and costs
involved

Let ht e roads used by the majorities be a first and urgent priority. When
Konkan railway was being built the objections were insurmountable and
fierce .We now see how convenient, safe, economic Konkan Railway travel is.
It is not susprising the vociferous votaries are using Konkan railway
without ever remembering their opposition.

[Goanet] WHAT A DISTINCTION!

2014-09-09 Thread Aires Rodrigues
Goa’s former Director of Prosecution Shobha Dhumaskar has now attained the
distinction of being India‘s first former Director of Prosecution to be
prosecuted on corruption charges. Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar
desperately tried to save her on the most absurd ground that the pecuniary
loss she caused to the State exchequer was a mere Rs 61,200. What a sad
state of affairs and it could only have happened in Goa where the levels of
corruption have peaked and are only further soaring.

Will the Chief Minister explain to us what he really means in his much
publicized mantra of Zero Tolerance to corruption? Is corruption upto Rs
61,200 acceptable and condonable? At least the law does not differentiate
on the quantum of amount involved in a corrupt act. And the law also does
not forgive you if you refund the amount you have swindled through a
corrupt act.

[Goanet] What does a secretary record in the gram sabha?

2014-08-18 Thread Avinash Tavares
At a gram sabha held yesterday, one of the issues of contention was
regarding the sarpanch and panchayat not being invited for a football
tournament. A resolution was proposed that the club should apologise or
else the panchayat ground will not be given for club tournaments. One
citizen claimed the invitation was given( but no name was mentioned on the
invitation card) and he demanded that this point be recorded as a part the
proposed resolution.

People need to understand that there are two kinds of minutes of meeting-
minutes of discussion and minutes of resolution. The Secretary need not
record the minutes of discussion because for a body like the gram sabha,
recording every point will be a daunting task for the secretary. Only the
resolutions that have been passed need to be recorded.

The fault, in this case, lied with the sarpanch who chaired the meeting. He
has to put every ammendment for vote- which he didn't. Because of this, one
man's claim has been accepted as the voice of the gram sabha. What if
someone stood up next and demanded that the secretary note that drugs were
sold at the tournament? That would have to be recorded too.

Gram sabhas are powerful bodies and therefore require equally responsible
people to chair the meetings. Maybe sarpanchs need training in
parliamentary procedures before they take up the chair of a gram sabhas.

COMMENT:

I absolutely agree that the Sarpanch and the other panchas be mandatorily
invited (and also be provided cushioned VIP seats, Mutton Biriyani, Cerveja and
air-conditioned transport to and from the game). Additionally, IF there is no
breeze and it is hot, a Pankhawalla and his Pankha should be in attendance.
(Dancing girls optional).

After all, the ground belongs to these Five panchas and not to the village.
Wonder WHY Mr. Tavares has not named the village. It is my reading from Goans
in cyberspace that in post-Salazar Goa, one can say whatever one wants about
the same chaps who will convince you to vote for them at the next Tiatr. Only
do not write anything on Facebook.

Is it not interesting that Goans in 2014 are stuck at this Gram level? They
appear to be more concerned about what is being recorded or not than
'supporting' the very reasonable quid pro quo demands of these panchas.

Doc, the short answer is that HIV+ people are monitored much more closely
than those without HIV. The reason, I am told, is that HIV+ people are much
more susceptible to diseases. TB being the leading cause of death for them.
Again, since HIV+ kids are monitored much more closely, I feel those with TB
will be identified much more faster than kids who are not HIV+. In other
words, there is a greater danger of finding a TB Mary in the non-HIV
population than in the HIV+ population.

Dear Mervyn,

Let us make a deal.
As I do not understand much about Gold et other investment, I will NOT debate
with you on the topic of financial investment.

As I am NOT sure if you know enough about whether or NOT these Rivona HIV+ve
kids were adequately monitored and managed, I will not debate further with you
on that topic either.

I'd suggest, however, that there usually is a serious difference between the TB
contracted (and transmitted) by an HIV+ve person and that by a non-HIV+ve
person. Though, in many parts of the world, India included, that difference is
being blurred.

[Goanet] what are the parent`s expectation in educating children?

2014-07-19 Thread Nelson Lopes
   What are the parent`s expectations?

Happines is the primary aim of education, which connotes various other
derivatives

Only those that are in a happy state of mind , will be able to transmit
this trait effectively in their offspring’s. The present generation with
all the scientific progress and amenities seemed to be more stressed and
depressed in comparison. The time saved on monotonous, routine activities
is spent in front of T,V. Hence the ratio of depressed individuals is one
in five for women and one in six for men and is very alarming. We make
these choices willingly and consciously at most time and hence suffer the
consequences.

The main focus of the parents is study, scoring and faith in tuitions right
from K.G classes. It builds tremendous pressure to excel under all
circumstances. There is hardly any time for the children both at school and
home to engage in sports and other creative activities. The accent should
be on effective concentration, which could two hours daily. ,In stead the
students learn to waste time, disinterested , develop hate and aversion
with academic pursuits at all times

Happiness must spring from within through involvement of creative
activities, rather than momentary pleasures What are the parent’s
expectations

.

The basic reason to educate children is to make them happy and which
connotes various derivatives. If the parents themselves are not happy
individuals in their relationshipsderived by activities from outside
(listening to music, T.V. video games, and mobiles)

Health is another factor that contributes to happiness. Unfortunately the
clamour for junk food has led to the development of life style diseases in
children too early in life. like obesity, heart , kidney, blood pressure
and diabetes Emphasis on healthy diet is the urgent need. Both the Parents
and children need to have regular exercise and permit children to actively
engage in sports. Children imbibe the habits from parents The schools too
give precedence to academic results more than sports participation in their
appreciation, recognition, rewards, Fortunately this mentality is
undergoing a sea change with sports achievements given credits

Interpersonal relations help to resolve conflicts and problems
satisfactorily. Looking beyond ourselves gives a broader perspective and
meaning to life. In ability to manage conflicts leads to unhappiness and
violent explosion in behaviour. Parents that value, encourage interpersonal
relations lay a good foundation, In chasing happiness the satisfied
attitude leads to stagnation and hence creative, fulfilling tasks elevate
abilities with satisfaction to a new level

Finance too has bearing on happiness, Parents slog to meet the un called
for demands and satisfy children and as a result have less interaction
with them .

Happy, confident children are the dream of all parents. To realise it ,they
must effectively and actively engage in studies and sports, Healthy diet,
health, exercise interpersonal relations and finance, time management can
achieve the desired state of happiness, which is the ultimate goal of
education

Doc,
I believe that the primary responsibility of a child's health lies with his/her
parents or guardians. When the parents/guardians are ignorant, that
responsibility extends to the village - and then to society at large.

I totally agree with you that every child should be immunized and have the
proof before s/he applies to any school. Most parents would like reasonable
assurances that the school authorities are following the rules for the
prevention of communicable diseases. The crux of the matter in the case above,
however, is fear. Fear fueled by ignorance.

You can remove fear, as Cecil pointed out, by having a PTA.

You cannot totally remove the transmission of communicable diseases from any
school. When someone gets a 'gut feeling' and points a finger at HIV+
individuals, they are spreading fear, they are discriminating. Plain and
simple.

I know people who have been HIV+ for decades. They do not spread any infectious
diseases. I also know people who have never had HIV and are dead from diseases
that are totally preventable.

The responsibility for orphans lies on my shoulders. And yours. It would be a

Doc, the short answer is that HIV+ people are monitored much more closely than
those without HIV. The reason, I am told, is that HIV+ people are much more
susceptible to diseases. TB being the leading cause of death for them. Again,
since HIV+ kids are monitored much more closely, I feel those with TB will be
identified much more faster than kids who are not HIV+. In other words, there
is a greater danger of finding a TB Mary in the non-HIV population than in
the HIV+ population.

Every child must have a proper physical (followed by regular physicals) before

National Aids Trust (UK)

It is important to remember:

Having a child living with HIV in school poses no risk to staff or
pupils. There is no known case of an HIV transmission occurring at
school.

Virtually all children living with HIV are completely healthy for the
majority of their school career. With appropriate treatment and care,
they can live a long and healthy life.

Children living with HIV have regular clinical check-ups and those
that need medication may take it at home once or twice a day.

HIV suppresses the immune system so children living with HIV have to
take care not to catch childhood illnesses, such as measles or chicken
pox as these can have severe health implications for them.

Let's walk the talk.

It's too easy to blame the Government, or the school management or the
parents of those children in Rivona who refused to let HIV kids be admitted
into their school. It's too easy to criticize from a distance. What if it
was the school where my child studied? How would the parents have reacted?
How would I have reacted?

Here's what I suggest. Let each of us parents, wherever we are in Goa,
request our school PTA to have a special meeting with a single point
agenda. Asking each parent, Are you open to admitting children with HIV
into this school?. I know there will not be a unanimous 'YES' in any
school. No problem. We then approach the Government, and the Education
Department and Human Rights organizations to have education and
sensitization programs for our parents. We allay everyone's fears till we
can reach an unanimous decision, even if it takes weeks. Each school PTA
then sends their now 'informed' decision to the Education Department.

HIV is not going anywhere in a hurry. The problem will re-occur in some
other school tomorrow. Let us be prepared to welcome these kids after we
have been made to understand that there is no problem with their presence.
Let what happened in Rivona never happen again.

If you are a parent in Goa please contact your school PTA and ask them to
call this Special Meeting. If you are not a parent in Goa please share this
so that a Goan parent will see it and do the right thing. For our kids, and
their kids!

a: knowing that individuals with HIV may have HIV disease, Organise to have

b: knowing that individuals with HIV disease may also be suffering from TB,
Screen them and Treat them before exposing other children to TB

Cecil,
Thanks for being pro-active on this issue here and elsewhere on the web. I am
glad you have come out strongly in support of education for all.

It is pure ignorance that fuels the fear of some parents towards kids who are

The following is from the National Aids Trust (UK) Perhaps it will alleviate

This page is for all teachers (especially head teachers), school governors and
anyone who has responsibility for staff or pupils in schools.
Under the Equality Act 2010, it is unlawful to discriminate against people
living with HIV from the point of diagnosis. This means that schools cannot
discriminate against pupils or staff living with HIV.

It also means that schools should make reasonable adjustments to ensure people
living with HIV can work or study at the school.

Despite these legal protections, there are still cases of children being
refused a place or excluded and staff being sacked or not employed simply
because they are living with HIV.

It is important to remember:

Having a child living with HIV in school poses no risk to staff or pupils.
There is no known case of an HIV transmission occurring at school.
HIV cannot be passed on by spitting, small cuts or grazes, sharing utensils or
toilets seats. No case has ever been recorded of HIV transmission from child to
child by biting, fighting, playing or any other normal childhood interaction.

Virtually all children living with HIV are completely healthy for the majority
of their school career. With appropriate treatment and care, they can live a
long and healthy life.

Children living with HIV have regular clinical check-ups and those that need
medication may take it at home once or twice a day.
HIV suppresses the immune system so children living with HIV have to take care
not to catch childhood illnesses, such as measles or chicken pox as these can

[Goanet] WHAT MODI BECOMES PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA?

2014-02-19 Thread Stephen Dias
Four myths about India's leading prime ministerial candidate;
Forwarded by Stephen Dias

Cedric Prakash, Ahmedabad
India
February 7, 2014

As a Christian and particularly a Jesuit priest, I take stands and believe that
while being open to dialogue and reason, one has to be unequivocal
about what one
stands for. So, I take a stand against politicians or political parties that are
sectarian, corrupt, casteist and above all those who indulge in the
criminalization of society.
I do not espouse any political party. All have their own drawbacks. A reality
check would show that each one has failed the people of India in some way or
another, especially the poor and the marginalized, either because of their
particular ideology or because they have catered to a particular class or caste.
All this brings to mind the powerful words of Pope Francis in his Apostolic
Exhortation, Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel) in which he condemns the
economy of exclusion and inequality and a financial system which rules rather
than serves.
We have to accept that genuine fears and anxieties exist about
Narrndra Modi, the
pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Partys (BJP) prime ministerial candidate and three-
time chief minister of Gujarat becoming prime minister, after the
general election
due in May.
However let me clarify some matters about Modi and his rule in Gujarat.
Myth 1: Modi is a development man
This cannot be further from the truth. Gujarat has always been a developed state
from the time it was carved out of Bombay state in 1960. Economic indicators
clearly show that Gujarat under Modi has been worse off than under previous
governments (even the BJP one before him).
The fact is that foreign direct investment in Gujarat has taken a severe beating
in the last few years and even local investment is far below what is being
flaunted. Regarding social indicators, Gujarat fares poorly.
A UNICEF report published in 2013 says social development in the state has not
kept pace with economic development; almost every second child in Gujarat under
five years old is undernourished, while three quarters are anemic.
Myth 2: The Gujarat carnage is a thing of the past and Modi has been given a
clean chit
Many believe the courts exonerated Modi of involvement in the Gujarat
anti-Muslim
riots in 2002. The hard facts are, however, very different. First of
all, no court
has given Modi a clean chit.
True, there is a Special Investigation Team (SIT) report that says there is not
enough evidence against Modi.
But this has been challenged, with the petitioner Zakhia Jafri being given leave
by Ahmadabad magistrates to question the merits of the SIT report in a higher
court.
Raju Ramchandran, appointed by the Supreme Court as amicus curiae for
many of the
Gujarat riot cases, asserts that there is enough evidence to prosecute Modi on
several counts with regard to the violence in 2002, in which more than 1,000
people died.
Modi has neither shown any remorse nor taken responsibility for the killing of
innocent people under his watch. The least a chief minister could have been
expected to do was to enforce law and order and protect the life and property of
every citizen in his state. That he ignored this responsibility, there
is no doubt
among many. That he has denigrated minorities has been documented by
the print and
the electronic media.
Myth 3: Modi has made up with the minorities
There are some claiming to be representatives of minority Christian and Muslim
communities who sing Modis praises.
A careful analysis indicates these people have vested interests, especially in
business, and are not really interested in their community or what is
happening to
minorities in the country.
In 2003 Modi introduced an anti-conversion law and established rules
to govern the
implementation of this law in 2008.
It is perhaps one of the most draconian laws in the history of democratic India.
It forbids a citizen from converting to another faith unless she/he
has permission
from civil authorities.
Even now, police and intelligence officers constantly visit Christian
institutions
and Christians in general, making all kinds of inquiries and demanding to check
baptism registers and other records.
Myth 4: Modi is not corrupt
In May 2012, anti-corruption campaigners Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal visited
Gujarat. They came away declaring it the most corrupt state in the country. Why
they have not continued to highlight corruption in Gujarat is anyones guess.
Several years ago, the Tata Motor Company was allowed to establish a plant to
build the world's cheapest car in Gujarat with surprising ease, flouting every
rule in the book and even the state's industrial policy.
It is alleged that the Adani Company controls the price of compressed
natural gas,
amassing huge profits. In addition, the role of the Ambanis in mega projects in
Gujarat is being questioned. The way environmental laws are flouted and the
terrible ecological degradation that is taking place all over the
state,

[Goanet] WHAT VIJAY SANKALP WAS IT?

2014-01-16 Thread Aires Rodrigues
After having trespassed into the fields at Merces to hold that so called
Vijay Sankalp rally in an apparent chicanerous manner, government paid
workers are still clearing the mess left by the BJP. Shouldn’t the party
volunteers have been responsible for the cleanup?

We need to know why the organisers are not made liable to clear the mess
and as to why the State exchequer is being burdened? We have also seen how
high-handedly the state machinery was used to hold that rally.

On the RSS cadres who posed wearing burqas less said the better. Goa also
saw blatant defacement of public property all over by display of banners,
posters and cut-outs without necessary permission of the civic and
Panchayat bodies. And that too without paying the requisite fees.

How does the BJP which claims to be a Party with a difference explain this
high –handed conduct? How did the Police machinery remain blind to these
acts?

Now that the political parties come within the ambit of the Right to
Information Act will Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar make public the total
extravagant expenditure incurred on that Narendra Modi rally? We know all
those crores were extracted from the Mining, Casino and builder lobby as
also from real estate developers.

Eugene Correia:
Let's remember what US President Lyndon B
Johnson said during the civil struggle, It's probably better to have him
inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in.
Response:
The above quote was said in context of Edgar Hoover and not any civil
struggle. Refer:
Quote:
Talking privately about why he named J. Edgar Hoover as FBI director for
life, Lyndon Johnson said: “It’s probably better to have him inside the
tent pissing out than outside pissing in.”

As for Marshall's pointing out that the quote referred to J Edgar Hoover,
it could probably be. I had heard the quote, and hence my check on internet
gave me that the quote was said during the civil struggle, though it didn't
mention to who it referred.
Here's the quote:
Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent
pissing in. Lyndon Johnson
In some books, the quote uses in my tent
J. Edgar Hoover was keeping a close watch on the civil movement, as far as
I recollect reading the civil history. He was also keeping a keen watch on
President Kennedy, and there's lot of different accounts of the Kennedy
assassination. It also alleged to be the work of FBI and perhaps Hoover for
Kennedy's involvement with Marilyn Monroe.
The words spoken by first man on the moon, Aldin, is said to have been
misunderstood or deliberately ignored for his saying a small step for
me.

destroyed and big buildings are build. i do not know if they are at all aware
that destroying hills and cutting trees on large scale will destroy the water
belt below and rain will be scanty. This is exactly what happened to Bombay and
Bangalore. Once a upon a time there were hills in bombay and also in bangalore
