I think that it opens a menu or something that jaws is not reading. How is possible with jaws handle this kind of items on web sites? Thanks in advance. Menus is apparently how JAWS and IE see them, and they are a problem then. Re: [JAWS-Users] Transferring Emails From An XP Machine To A Windows 7 Machine
hello Donnie; here's some steps which I hope you can use. How to export Outlook Express Inbox from Windows XP to Windows 7? The first thing you need to do is export your Inbox from Windows XP to an external drive or a shared folder so that you can access it from Windows 7. To export the Inbox, open Outlook Express and select Tools and then Options. Enter on the Maintenance tab and then on the Store Folder location. This will open a small dialog box that will show you the exact location where your Inbox is stored. To copy the path, press Ctrl+a keys together to select the entire path. Then press Ctrl+c keys together to copy the path to clipboard. close the Outlook Express. Next enter on the Start menu and select the Run command. Paste the entire path that you copied earlier by pressing the Ctrl+v keys together and then press Enter. The folder containing your Outlook Express Inbox will open up in a new Explorer window. Copy the entire Outlook Express folder and save it on an external drive or shared folder. The next step is to move the Inbox to a Windows 7 machine. Windows 7 doesn't come with a default mail client but you can download Windows Live Mail for free from the Microsoft website. After installing Windows Live Mail, run it and enter on File, Import and then Messages. Follow the steps given in the Import Wizard. Just make sure that you select Microsoft Outlook Express 6 as the program and specify the location where you saved your Inbox by clicking on the browse button. When you have completed the Import process, your Outlook Express messages would be displayed in the subfolders of Windows Live Mail. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Saturday, June 22, 2013 7:04 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Transferring Emails From An XP Machine To A Windows 7 Machine Donnie, I would listen to this guy as he is probably the foremost expert on what you are asking. Re: [JAWS-Users] I: how do you set up the BCC field in outlook 2003?
David, it didn't work, and in fact, none of the fixes work. All of this is my fault really, as I did have office 2007 on my computer, but somehow as my computer said to me, or at least jaws did, smile, that the program was corrupt. So I uninstalled it, thinking that I could reinstall it from my disk, but the disk has left the building. I can't find it anywhere. I loved the program, and I guess I'll have to buy it again, but if I'm going to do that, I might as well go with office 2010, but I haven't learned to use the ribbon method yet, so for right now, I'll limp along with office 2003, but no matter what I try, the fixes that folks have been suggesting, just haven't worked. frown. Re: [JAWS-Users] Recording JAWS while it speaks, and other PC audio?
Hi If you are using GoldWave and windows 7, you can do the folowing steps to record pc audio (sometimes called streaming) 1. Start GoldWave 2. Control properties (f11) 3. Ctrl+tab to record tab, and tab to the recording combo box 4. Choose loopback from the combo box Note: If you connect multiple sound card to your pc, each one have a loopback. You should check to make sure you choose the correct sound card which you want to record from. If you want to include your voice or something from microphone, then open speacker from system tray, choose recording devices, choose the microphone which you use to record, then tab to find properties button, and spacebar to activate it. Now Ctrl+tab to the listen tab, then check the box called listen to this device. You will hear your voice through head phone, and you'll be able to record using GoldWave Hope that help Cuong - Original Message - From: Uncle Squinty unclesqui...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Saturday, June 22, 2013 10:51 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Recording JAWS while it speaks, and other PC audio?
