Ok, one hd is 750 and the other is 320.  The latter is my windows machine.

drive is!

So there were steps provided earlier from a lister on how to use bootcamp.
One part said:

How much should be for each OS?
I have 4 gigs of memory for both machines.
The one that will be the primary should have the most right? Or am I not
getting this.
I am almost at the point of starting the process.

Hi is it possible to have both options?  i have vmware fusion at the moment but 
bootcamp might be handy if i want to do something intensive with windows. 
vmware is great for just doing something small in windows. Can i use the same

on my 2011 27 inch iMac, with 16 gig of ram, a 3.4 GHZ processor, and I have 6 
gigs deadicated to the pc side of things.  And both systems fly.  SSD is the 
way to go if you can afford it.

I'm going to start the bootcamp today or tomorrow after work. I'm just
gathering all of the notes people are sending and go from there.  I hear
people saying its slow to switch from one to the other but I skyped with
someone the other day and when he switched, it was pretty quick if I say so
myself.

Hello everyone. There's no question about it, Windows runs faster in
Bootcamp for me. I also don't have problems with loss of Software
activations in JAWS. Also, the Focus USB Braille displays work properly. I
couldn't get them running in VM Fusion.

Hi,

in your finder, press command shift U.  This will land you on your utility 
folder.  In this folder is the bootcamp assistant.  Run this.  By the way, I 
think this was mentioned earlier in the thread but, you will need to get a 
retail or builder copy of windows.

an quickly shift over to windows when need be.

Yes running it virtually will work and you do have the advantage of
being able to switch from mac OSX to windows without a restart.
However, my main issues with running windows virtually is that running
both operating systems side by side taxes your ram and processor a lot
more and could also effect data read/write if you have a 5400rpm
drive. Also, there have been some issues with certain drivers and
software authorization when running windows virtually, although this
seems to happen less with windows seven...

Of course, these things are probably of little concern for people
doing non intensive general computing on a daily basis. I use both my
macs for audio production work so need to be a tad paranoid about
CPUand ram usage etc.

I have run windows both in bootcamp and in VM Fusion.  Both have

Also, I think KeyRemap4Macbook will easily take care of the key remapping needs 
if you use fusion, or the built in key remapping in VM Fusion works pretty

to use but it does work.  Bootcamp is certainly better if your Mac has limited 
resources.

If you want the caps lock key on the Windows side in a screen reader like Jaws

I run mine with boot camp. It doesn't run within Mac OS. 
VMware fusion costs 50$ but it shares recourses with your Mac.
