[MlMt] Mailmate et Inbox

2016-09-21 Thread Olivier Bedouelle

Hi

I use Inbox on my iPhone to my emails. I find this practice to see if a
particular message is completed.

When I put the message "done », MailMate on my computer is not going
to get him.

Do you know how I can synchronize the completed messages?

Cordially

Re: [MlMt] Really weird bug--mail sent from wrong account

2016-09-21 Thread Helen Holzgrafe
I had that happen recently also. I am running 5260. Mine ended up stuck
in drafts because the account it tried to send from is an in-only
mailbox and not set up to send out. I had to move the message from that
account's drafts folder to the drafts folder for the actual account that
was supposed to send it. Then, it worked fine.

The only odd thing about that message was that the window for it was
opened via a website from a "contact us" type link. The message window
"From: section" showed the correct outgoing account, but mailmate
actually sent from another one. In fact, it sent it from the one that
is first by alphabet. i.e.: it said From: b...@c.com, but was sent from
a...@c.com.

And here I thought I was crazy...

Bingo! That's exactly it. I did click on a mailto to generate that message, and
the account that it sent from is the first in my list (at least according to
the Activity Monitor).

The dangerous thing is that Google SMTP doesn't reject the message for being
from an unknown account--it changes the headers.

I have been meaning to mention this one for a while. I have this happen
all the time.

The easiest way to replicate it is for me to click on a mailto: URL
somewhere. MailMate will then generate a new message which is often,
but not always, from the first account listed in my list of accounts.
If I change the "From" address, it does NOT change the account through
which it is sent. I am typically reminded of this when I get an error
from Apple about how I'm not permitted to send from some other domain
via my iCloud account and it rejects the message.

So there does seem to be some sort of a disconnect between what the From
address is exiting MailMate and the actual account used for SMTP.

It may well be this is somehow linked to what you've seen here.

[MlMt] GPG banner flicker in preview

2016-09-21 Thread Sean Johnson
Typically I leave the preview pane visible at the bottom of the compose window
so I can see how things will look as I’m going along. I also use GPG, which
works fine for signing, etc. The problem is that while typing the green bar for
the “Trusted signature for OpenPGP message.” piece keeps flickering in and out
as I type. Is there a way to either disable that piece without disabling
preview completely, or is this just a general bug?

It’s not a big deal, just visually annoying.

Thanks,

I hate to say it but it looks like a Mailmate issue.

I just did a drag & drop of a message from Mailmate to an empty folder

I then did a drag & drop of the same message from Apple Mail and it

So methinks it is something in Mailmate causing the problem.

Both of these together restore the original speed.
