I saw a possibilitiy that IHSG will have a correction for few days. Now, big
players is offloading part of their portfolio. Indonesia market is not like
DJ. All things happened in JSX is artificial, you can learn it from May 2005
where the JSX make huge correction, so bullish market is a best time to
offload portfolio for big player and bearish market will be time for entry
for big player. Retail investor and trader just follow the market.
So, I will recommend to offload portfolio every time JSX reach new high as
recently happened and be ready with hard cash for crash market.

Kalo indeks cuma 2020 berarti tinggal 2.8% upsidenya. Kalo yang invest dari awal maret indeks lagi 1740, sekarang udah enjoy 13% dalam 1.5 bulan atau 104% annually. U.S. gasoline supplies probably fell the least in 10 weeks as refining reached a 14-week high, according to a Bloomberg News survey before a weekly government report tomorrow. Crude also rose after Canada's Enbridge Inc. shut down part of its pipeline pumping oil to the U.S. Midwest yesterday following a leak. ``Concerns about the driving season and gasoline inventory levels clearly are providing some support,'' said Richard Savage, the head of energy research at Mirabaud Securities Ltd. in London. ``From the refining side, we've seen difficulties in really adding significant capacity going forward and that's keeping this market tight.'' Crude oil for May delivery rose as much as 57 cents, or 0.9 percent, to $64.18 a barrel in after-hours electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange and was at $64.08 at 12 noon in London. The contract expires at the end of the week. The more actively traded June contract gained 54 cents to $66.21 a barrel. U.S. refiners probably used 88.8 percent of their plant capacity last week, the highest since the week ended Jan. 5, based on the median estimate from a Bloomberg News survey of 10 analysts. Operating rates have risen for four straight weeks. Crude oil stockpiles probably climbed for a third week, gaining 850,000 barrels, according to the survey. Palm Oil Futures Decline on Concerns Recent Rally Was Overdone By Feiwen Rong April 17 (Bloomberg) -- Palm oil futures declined as some investors sold the commodity on concerns that the rally to the highest in more than eight years yesterday was overdone. Palm oil futures rose 7.2 percent in the two weeks before today as Malaysia, the world's largest producer of the tropical oil, reported unexpectedly strong growth in exports this month. ``Some investors are taking profit this morning because the rally was too fast,'' said Stefanus Darmagiri, an analyst at UOB Kay Hian Securities in Jakarta. Malaysia may have exported 642,492 tons to 666,793 tons of palm oil in April 1-15 period, according to estimates from two independent cargo surveyors. That's an increase of as much as 47 percent from the year-earlier month. Palm oil for July delivery, the most active contract, fell as much as 31 ringgit, or 1.4 percent, to 2,219 ringgit ($646) a ton on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange. Yesterday, the most active contract for June delivery peaked at 2,307 ringgit, the highest since Dec. 1, 1998, when it touched 2,311 ringgit. Palm oil futures also fell because prices of the competing vegetable oil made from soybeans declined yesterday, reducing appeal of the cheaper palm oil. Soybean oil for July delivery was little changed at 33.37 cents a pound at 11:35 a.m. Singapore time. Soybean oil futures have gained 34 percent in the past six months, while palm oil has soared 42 percent. Indonesia and Malaysia, the world's biggest producer of the palm oil, account for about 85 percent of production worldwide. Small amounts of consumer buying as well as spillover fund buying across the LME base metals complex have helped lift tin prices, the broker added. LME tin prices have climbed roughly 12% since hitting a low of $13,100 on March 29, and have climbed roughly 28% from the start of 2007. At roughly the same time, LME tin inventories are down 10% since the start of April and down 32% since the start of 2007. LME LATEST - Copper extends gains in PM rings, tin at new 25-year high BaseMetals.com Copper extended gains during Tuesday afternoon trading on the LME, rising $200 on fears of supply disruptions from the Grasberg mine in Indonesia, while tin rose to a fresh 25-year high near $15,000 a tonne. Copper climbed to $7,950 a tonne, up $220 or 2.8 percent from Monday, and close to the seven-month high of $7,972.50 reached last week. Earlier, it fell as low as $7,660 before bouncing back up on news that workers from Freeport's Grasberg mine had called off talks with the company over a labour dispute and said they would go ahead with a protest rally tomorrow. Tin advanced to $14,900, up $375 or 2.8 percent, and the highest since January 1982. Although the supply situation in Indonesia has showed signs of improvement in the past few weeks, the market remains tight with a large deficit forecast for this year. Warehouse inventories fell by 85 tonnes to 8,755 tonnes, the lowest since October 2005 or 1-1/2 years. Nickel rose to $47,900, up $1,700 or 3.7 percent, as stocks fell 252 tonnes to 4,020 tonnes, of which 1,362 is under cancelled warrant, meaning less than a day of global consumption is actually available to the market. Zinc soared to $3,700, up $200 or 5.7 percent, and the highest since January 26, with stocks falling another 950 tonnes to 103,700 tonnes. U.S. March Core Prices Rise Less Than Forecast (Update2) By Joe Richter April 17 (Bloomberg) -- A measure of prices paid by U.S. consumers rose less than forecast last month, supporting the Federal Reserve's call that inflation will subside as the economy slows. The 0.1 percent increase in core consumer prices, which exclude food and energy costs, was the smallest this year and follows a 0.2 percent February gain, the Labor Department said today in Washington. Prices overall rose 0.6 percent in March, led by a jump in fuel costs. Less inflation may give Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke and his colleagues more latitude to lower interest rates to reinvigorate the economy in coming months, economists said. Cheaper clothing and hotel stays and a smaller gain in medical care costs restrained price gains last month, suggesting a slowing economy is starting to help alleviate price pressures. ``This buys the Fed some time so they can sit tight for a little while longer,'' said Lindsey Piegza, a market analyst at FTN Financial in New York. ``We're going to have to get a few more months of declining core inflation before the Fed can start to cut interest rates.'' Housing starts unexpectedly rose for a second month in March, bolstering expectations the worst housing slump in 15 years may be easing, a report from the Commerce Department showed. Builders broke ground on new homes at an annual rate of 1.518 million last month, an increase of 0.8 percent from February. Building permits, a sign of future construction, also rose 0.8 percent. Rates Fall The yield on Treasury securities fell after the reports on speculation less inflation may give the Fed leeway to lower interest rates if necessary. The yield on the benchmark 10-year note fell to 4.70 percent at 8:47 a.m. in New York from 4.74 percent late yesterday. The dollar weakened. Broadest Measure The CPI is the government's broadest gauge of costs because it includes goods and services. Other inflation reports this week showed wholesale prices jumped 1 percent in March, while prices of U.S. imports rose by the most in almost a year. Today's report showed energy prices jumped 5.9 percent, the most since September 2005, after a 0.9 percent increase in February. Fuel oil costs rose 3.8 percent and natural gas prices were up 3 percent. Gasoline prices soared 11 percent. Prices at the pump for regular gasoline rose to $2.61 a gallon in March, the highest since early September, Energy Department figures show. They've risen further this month. Food prices, which account for about a fifth of the CPI, increased 0.3 percent after a 0.8 percent increase in February. PepsiCo Inc., the world's second-largest soda maker, raised U.S. prices on Gatorade sports drinks for the first time in seven years because of higher distribution costs. Tropicana Products, the PepsiCo unit that buys 40 percent of Florida's oranges, last month said the state's smallest crop in 17 years will mean higher costs for making juice. Tropicana and Minute Maid, owned by Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Co., increased retail orange-juice prices in 2006. Biofuels Rising demand for grain-based biofuels such as ethanol, a motor fuel and gasoline additive distilled mostly from corn in the U.S., have also helped drive up food prices, economists said. Malaysia exported 29 percent more palm oil during April 1-15 than a month earlier, according to estimates by independent cargo surveyor Societe Generale de Surveillance. A total of 642,492 metric tons of bulk palm oil shipments through Malaysian sea ports were tracked, compared with 496,977 tons of palm oil in the same period last month, SGS said. ``The exports are very strong and palm oil futures are responding to that,'' Francis Lee, trader at Okachi (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, said by phone from Kuala Lumpur today. Palm oil for June delivery, the most active contract, rose as much as 88 ringgit, or 4 percent, to 2,307 ringgit ($671) a ton on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange. Tin rose 2.6 per cent to $14,900 a tonne after hitting a record $15,000 in the session, amid continuing concern about supplies from Indonesia. Last year, the government in Indonesia shut down a large number of independent smelters operating on the tin-producing island of Bangka and it has approved only two export permits since then. Copper raced 4.5 per cent higher to $8,080 a tonne amid concern that output could be disrupted at the giant Grasberg mine in Indonesia, which is operated by Freeport McMoran. Disgruntled workers were planning to hold a protest rally on Wednesday, demanding fairer career opportunities and better pensions. Grasberg is estimated to contain the worlds third largest copper reserves and huge gold reserves and is expected to produce 499,000 tonnes of copper this year. Nickel jumped 4.5 per cent to $48,300 a tonne as support for sentiment continued to come from low inventory levels with just 2,658 tonnes available to the market, less than one-day of global consumption. Aluminium rose 2.5 per cent to $2,892.5 a tonne while zinc leapt 5.9 per cent higher to $3,707.5 a tonne, helped by a fall of 950 tonnes in London Metal Exchange stocks. Oil prices were volatile on Tuesday after news of a leak in a Canadian pipeline that supplies the US. The leak, on Sunday night, disrupted supplies to the US mid-West. The pipeline has a capacity of 450,000 barrels a day and is operated by Enbridge, a Canadian company. It declined to say how long disruption would last but said the pipeline was still pumping oil from terminals south of the leak. Nymex May West Texas Intermediate added 41 cents at $64.02 a barrel but futures prices from June onwards moved lower. Nymex June WTI traded 33 cents lower at $65.34 a barrel, which suggests traders do not expect supply disruption to last long. London Metal Exchange copper jumped above the key $8,000 a metric ton Tuesday to a seven month high, bolstering the entire base metals complex, with further gains expected overnight, according to market participants. Fund and speculative buying pushed copper prices sharply higher with market activity heating up once prices broke through $7,900/ton, said a base metals broker in London. Moreover, a breach of the key $8,000/ton price triggered a flurry of technical-related buying, the broker added. LME copper jumped over 3.5% to a seven month high of $8,050/ton before retreating to a PM kerb of $8,048/ton. A fall in LME copper stocks by 2,575 tons Tuesday initially supported prices. LME copper stocks have declined roughly 5% from the start of April. Moreover, stronger than expected U.S. housing starts figures were also very supportive for construction-intensive copper, according to market participants. Housing starts increased 0.8% to a seasonally adjusted 1.518 million annual rate, after jumping 7.6% in February. Economists were expecting a 1.6% drop in the March figure. Building permits, meanwhile, also rose 0.8% last month, against expectations of a 1.4% decline. Meanwhile, some analysts pointed to ongoing concerns at PT Freeport Indonesia's massive Grasberg mine as adding support to prices. As of late Tuesday, Tongoi Papua, a labor group that lobbies on behalf of Freeport's native employers from Papua, said it refused to hold discussions with the company as Freeport's top management declined to grant the group a teleconference. A major sticking point has been the group's demands on wages and benefits. Tongoi Papua has said it will hold a peaceful rally involving about 6,000 to 10,000 people Wednesday if its demands aren't met. The Grasberg mine produces around 1,800 tons of copper and 9,000 troy ounces of gold a day, but traders have said the protest isn't likely to immediately affect production. Nevertheless, traders said the price run-up has been driven by speculators and not by fundamental news. I think Chinese buyers will come in and buy copper overnight following the strong gains in Europe, a copper analyst said. According to Edward Meir of Man Financial, copper's next upside target is $8,200/ton, while good support should be seen around $7,700/ton. In other metals, zinc and nickel surged on the back of strong copper gains. Three-month zinc jumped over 5% to a three-month high of $3,720/ton on fund and speculative buying, while nickel jumped some 4% to above $48,000/ton. A jump through the 200-day moving average of $3,635/ton also triggered a flurry of technical buying, an LME analyst said. Funds are just beginning to get out of short positions in zinc, because there are uncertainties of how much cheap zinc there is coming out of China going forward, said JP Morgan analyst Michael Jansen. Low and declining LME nickel inventories have also attracted buyers. LME nickel stocks are down some 20% since the start of April, according to LME data. Tin industry workers in Indonesia are said to be planning to protest for higher wages, a dealer said. Indonesia has reduced supply and China, the largest tin producer, is unable to fill the gap, as the consumption in China itself is very high, said the dealer. Kalau supply lebih besar dari demand, harga turun dan juga sebaliknya. Jadi kalau supply naik krn demand yang naik, harga tidak turun, malahan harga bisa naik karena kenaikan supply lebih kecil dari kenaikan demand. Untuk mengecilkan chart, ada 2 cara : 1. Gunakan Save as HTML di MetaStock atas chart yang akan dikirim, kemudian pilih PNG di kanan (jangan pilih JPG), hasilnya akan ada 2 file, 1 PNG file dan 1 HTML file, buang yang HTML dan kirim yang PNG file, chart dari hasil ini besarnya di bawah 50 k dan sangat jelas gambarnya. 2. Bagi rekan yang mengcopy layar (Ctrl Prt Scr), hasil copy di-paste di Adobe Photoshop, ganti mode-nya melalui command bar di atas, tekan image, kemudian pilih mode, pilih indexed color, setelah itu di-save dan pilih type CompuServe GIF (*.GIF) atau PNG, dengan cara ini file hanya sebesar 24K saja. Ukuran file tidak perlu dikecilkan, hasilnya sangat tajam. File ini kalau dalam RGB mode (JPG) besarnya 2.85 M karena RGB mode mengandung 64 juta warna, sedangkan warna yang digunakan dalam chart MetaStock tidak lebih dari 30 warna, indexed color mode memiliki 256 warna, jadi lebih dari cukup. berhubung saya masih newbie, jadi saya belum bisa pake ta/fa/ba. selama ini cuma pake naluri he he he termasuk posisi buy/sell yg tiap menit berubah, patokannya sebelum trading dimulai saya feeling ke saham apa, dulu cnko ,trus cpro, sekarang miti, kalo ke saham2 yg mahal belum berani duitnya.dan hasilnya cuan juga,walau kadang kalo short rugi hik hik kalo boleh tahu saya ini termasuk pake analisa yg mana? trim pencerahannya regards

Cukup banyak trader yg sudah minggir karena phobia ketinggian Walau bagaimanapun jika IHSG menembus ribuan baru akan menimbulkan efek psikologis yg bagus bagi pasar. Profit taking bisa nanti dilakukan sewaktu-waktu Cerita bisa aja dibikin-bikin/dihembuskan ke pasar untuk menambah heboh : reshufle, deviden, SBI, minyak etc etc.. Kira-kira mana yang akan dipilih si BOZZ ? Ane sudah punya perkiraan sendiri, tapi kalau diutarakan bikin pooling di sini, si BOZZ akan mempermalukan mayoritas anggota milis. (Kalo you percaya skenario 1, BOZZ jalanin skenario 2, begitu juga sebaliknya)
