Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
Why not put it in small text at the bottom. At the top is unnecessary when hopefully it’s correct >90% of the time but I can see why it would be useful to know when it fails. Because I doubt everybody would scroll down there to double check. Most users would read the first few lines only to figure out something was wrong. I should probably improve the filtering. In the aforementioned case "Pearl Jam - Alright" hit "Pearl Jam - The Kids Are Alright". The title here is obviously different to the reader's eye. But my matching probably only checks whether the title looked for was part of the found title, no matter how much of it would NOT match. I should be a bit smarter. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Dynamic Playlists has stopped working for me
I wound up manually examining the tables in persist.db. Found 136 rows in track_statistics that had a value for lastPlayed but NULL for playCount. That corresponded to 136 rows in track_history with the same lastPlayed for the same URL. I deleted those rows from track_history and set the lastPlayed value to NULL in track_statistics. When I told LMS to play Never Played Albums, it began playing something that I added back in 2008. That's encouraging, because before the whole thing stopped working altogether it was only giving me albums that had been added very recently. I guess I'll know over the next few days if I really fixed the problem. atrocity's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16009 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111941 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Cheap USB adaptors usually only support 2 rate - typically 44.1Khz and 48kHz. so to play other rate will need resampling. This can be provided be either 1. On Linux through ALSA /PUlseaudio 2. LMS 3. Station mess around with settings - often by accident other times to reduced costs, improve quality etc - they keep the same URL and don't tell the listeners. Do you really really want to play this station or is it a just a curiousity ? Since you have debian - I suspect just by using a different ALSa device, the stream will be playable. What is the output device on the squeezlite using the -o command ? Re: Squeezelite Puzzling Behavior Connects to Web Stream But No Audio
bakerboy wrote: > FYI, they recently had a problem where their embedded web player > wouldn't produce audio using the Chrome browser. That might be because of the recent change in Chrome that does not, by default, allow http content from a site that is connected to by https (mixed content). It can be overridden within the browser settings for the site. It would not explain this issue ... unless the station switched to https streaming as a result and that https then caused a problem for LMS/player. That does not appear to be the issue here - at least not based on the comments so far. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Bug-fix release, main changes: - Draw small update icon top-right of main menu icon when updates available, as opposed to replacing menu icon. - Remove initial 'http://' from add 'URL to queue' dialog to help with pasting URLs. - If listing a radio app's entries and all images are the same, then hide images. e.g. iHeartRadio and RadioNet - Add monochrome radio.net icon. - Enable hover add/play buttons for playlists and playlist tracks. - Fix translations where there are 2 placeholders. - Fix adding/playing selection. - Restrict add/play all to predefined set of apps. - Correctly report total track count for multi-CD album when listed as 1 album in LMS. - Fix ctrl+left causing current track to go to start - should be checking for alt+left. - Use page up/down to scroll browse and queue views - alt + page up/down for queue in desktop layout (either with or without alt for mobile layout) - Show images for text items in loop_loop. - Don't disable volume controls for powered off players, as it is possible to alter the volume of these. - Add "menu:1" to browseonlineartist API call. - Remove Material's artist fallback image, as it also gets shown in the 'My Music' section using other UIs. - Darker scrollbars for Black themes. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Annouce: Squeeze Control, a squeezebox remote app, is now available for Android
I also have a bug to report. I use the latest version of android with the new gesture system on a Pixel 2 XL. The issue is this. Normally you can swipe lef/right to go to: home menu, now playing, playlist. When I do this: Start the app. Select my music. Then use the android back gesture from the right side of the screen to go back one screen. Then select my music again. Now the screen will 'jump' to now playing. There are more ways to trigger, but this is the easy way. Can someone reproduce? I still need to investigate how to display pictures on the Touch and Radio. So far it only shows the icon size pic in the Extras -> SDT menu. Selecting the weather radar menu just bumps the screen. In the android app Orange Squeeze, the menu structure continues on to display the full size radar picture. I would also like to make the radar image available to Custom Clock, but have not looked into that yet. I suspect Custom Clock Helper may need to be tweaked. If anyone has advice, input, or has weather radar working on their copy of SDT... I'm happy to incorporate it the distribution I have been supporting. I can't be certain, but I'm not aware of any other repositories for SDT. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: YouTube Plugin (API v3)
Hi Philippe-44, Thanks for this plugin...it's very useful. The following enhancements would be useful to me if you are looking for feedback: Display the length of a video in search results (I often look for longer videos to listen to) Option to display the video comments under the play window (I realise that one may be more tricky) Hope everyone is doing ok out there. Cheers, Nick. nickey's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55348 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105840 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
