Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
When I navigate in LMS through Qobuz > My Favorites > Artists, the sort order seems to be alphabetical by last name, which sometimes also results in specific band names being sorted by the 2nd word of the band name (but not always). For example, scrolling through the letter 'B' artists, I see: TBH: I have no idea how they sort. My little test list doesn't even make sense using your finding. { favorited_at => "1590899594", name => "The Aristocrats", { favorited_at => "1387519678", name => "King Crimson", { favorited_at => "1387519662", name => "Liquid Tension Experiment", { favorited_at => "1590902760", name => "Peter Gabriel", { favorited_at => "1387519686", name => "Tony Levin", { favorited_at => "1583361174", name => "Dua Lipa", { favorited_at => "1387519631", name => "Sting", So it's neither date added not really the name (whatever you tweak that one). Dua Lipa is totally wrong in that list. On several levels :D I've seen temporary hiccups before. PasTim wrote: > Thanks for that. Very interesting. I dont think this can be fixed without changing the Multi Library plugin code. If the schema_clear.sql script is used to clear the database its strange that we see a problem at all because then the Multi Library tables shouldnt be cleared even during a full rescan. https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/blob/public/8.2/SQL/SQLite/schema_clear.sql >From my memory the whole library.db was deleted during a full rescan but I cant find this in the code at the moment so it might have changed since Multi Library plugin was implemented. If library.db is deleted Id expect the library ids to always start over from 1 after a full rescan. Its also possible to reset it manually: https://www.designcise.com/web/tutorial/how-to-reset-autoincrement-number-sequence-in-sqlite However, please remember that the hash order is still unpredictable if you have more than a single library, so resetting the AUTOINCREMENT column isnt really a solution. The solution as I tried to indicate in my previous post is: > > > A solution to this really need to store an id in either the library > configuration file or in the prefs file of each library and replace the > AUTOINCREMENT column with a manually updated integer and make sure to > take the value from prefs/library configuration when creating the row in > multilibrary_libraries table, which happens here: > https://github.com/erland/lms-multilibrary/blob/28d437d83235aceaac6e47b389727d46488de139/src/Plugin.pm#L352 > Its probably easiest to store Id in prefs because then it can be > completely handled in initDatabaseLibrary function and doesnt have to > affect other parts of the code. > Basically: - Redefine multilibrary_libraries.id to not be an AUTOINCREMENT column. You should instead in the code manually calculate the next free id when a new library is created and its row is inserted in this table. max(id)+1 should work. - Make sure to save the library id in the prefs file for each library created - When initializing a library in the table, take the id from the prefs file Should be possible to implement the whole thing in initDatabaseLibrary function in MultiLibrary/Plugin.pm A logic like this will make sure the ids stays the same as long as you dont delete the prefs file or renames the library definition file. I see the problem. Attached is a new version of Plugin.pm that should take care of it. Unfortunately, the support for zones other than the main zone is less robust than I realized prior to looking into it more deeply last night. For example, volume synching during power-on processing and/or track changes cannot be done in the normal way due to the fact that the command to query the AVR volume for these zones does not exist in the Denon protocol. If this new version fixes your problem, my next step is to implement a change to DenonAvpComms.pm that would activate some new code in Plugin.pm which will cause the AVR to sync its zone(n) volume to the client's volume during power-on, which is the reverse of how volume synching works in the main zone. If that change works, it seems to me that one could argue that volume synching should work that way for all zones. Anyway, give this a try and let me know how it goes. How is the JSON call made? Is this by the album name or by a specific all music identifier? The latter would be particularly useful for classical music as often albums are divided up by work and MAI often can't identify them. I'm kind of a luddite when it comes to choosing what to listen to. (But not, of course, when it comes to how I listen to it. I've been using LMS for at least 10 years, so that makes me very advanced, right? ;-) ) I only want to choose music in a few simple ways. So: Under the Setting-->Home screen items, the only box checked is "My Music" -- no "Radio", "Favorites", etc. And under the "My Music" gear icon, the only boxes checked are "Album Artists", "Albums", and "Genres".In particular, "All Artists" and "Random Albums" are unchecked. And indeed, when I select "My Music" for any player, I only get entries for "Album Artists", "Albums", and "Genres". If I then select Genres-->[some-genre], I now have choices of "All Artists", "Album Artists", "Albums", and "Random Albums". Why am I seeing "Album Artists" and "Random Albums" at this level, when I didn't see them at the top level? If it's meant to be that way, I guess that's fine, but if it's a bug, then I guess I'm reporting it. :-) Thanks, paul pgf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58510 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

For example, scrolling through the letter 'B' artists, I see: Julien Baker Beach House Panda Bear Belle and Sebastian David Bowie etc. I would love if everything was simply sorted by the first letter of the artist name (whether proper name or band name). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Looking for someone willing to update Inguz EQ/DRC settings page
Changes - Added Flatness back in Amended initialisation, so that the last setting used is loaded. It will not load the setting name, as this is not held in the settings file. Amended the sliders so that only the "thumb" button is draggable, this should eliminate the issue you found on the mobile device (which I was able to replicate). The slider bubble is now visible on mobile devices, I didn't actually do anything specific to fix this but I think the item above did the job for me. I have also removed the dependency on the additional file. So it is one file install. Whilst technically it is better to separate out components of the web page, I see little value in doing that for a one off control. The above were all quick and easy changes to do, changing the frequency will take longer so I will do that over the coming days/weeks as time allows. 33703 +---+ |Filename: InguzReskin_v0.02.zip| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=33703| +---+ foxesden's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56286 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113604 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Your game, your rules so the layout should be whatever you feel most comfortable with. One part of MAI is still a bit broken - Credits only ever returns one item but I know its on Michaels fix list. Interestingly Qobuz gives something similar thats headed Personnel but I think the MAI Credits is preferable. I know you dont have online services so may not know those tracks dont carry any genre. Genre should be computed from track entry in database in first instance and only if empty drop to the value from MAI which is at album level. Whats the protocol? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New versions of erlands plugins
Hi I know that by upgrading to the latest version it could break Erlands apps. I was running LMS 8.1.1 for a few months without any problem. This weekend i took the risk of upgrading my Touch to the latest firmware. After grade and reinstalling the features it hangs my Touch after a few minutes. Downgrading to the official firmware did not resolve the issue. After a lot resets and trails i found out the using fonts in Custom Clock was the problem. I was using some custom fonts in .zip file for years. Now these lead to a freeze of my Touch. Does anybody having the same problem or is there a solution for this. Or has the update of the firmware or LMS broke this function in Custom Clock ? - Patrick madpatrick's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4929 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I found that some of the segments from RF (in particular for France Culture and France Info I think) were not in time sequence (despite them using an array for them). So I now sort the segments. I also made the number of days in the schedule a configurable element instead of being fixed at 8. I'll probably make 0 mean "turn off the schedule menu" although I cannot think of a good reason why someone would want to do that. My guess is that since this addition does not provide much for FIP listeners then the best way to get some feedback from real users is to make a real release so that people get an update without having to add an extra repo. Then I have no idea what you have broken on your system - as it clearly is an issue specific to your install. As stated, the skin is failing to load either the theme CSS or the colour CSS - if these fail to load, then the background colour variable is not set, so there is no background colour. You can change the colour by using the three dotten menu top right, select "Settings", and you will see the colour selector. If this is not there, then your MaterialSkin install is broken. *Material debug:* 1. If you are not using covers for backgrounds (as you have stated you are not) the backgrounds should be solid colours. Can you provide a screenshot? *Material debug:* 1. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Looking for someone willing to update Inguz EQ/DRC settings page
Have replied below in italics, thanks: In terms of Flatness, I can easily re-enable it. I think it was commented out in the original install that I had. -Great, thanks.- So for example with 2 bands you would be able to apply changes to say 80hz and 1 Hz rather than the default 60/15360. -Exactly.- I will need to confirm that the back-end supports this, but it is doable from a front-end perspective. Some questions for you: - Would you see this feature as being a change to default settings or a change for a specific preset - I think the latter would be easier to do. -Change for a specific preset. Change, then save as a preset.- - I think that frequency values need to be limited 20-2 should cover the bats and whales amongst us. -Agree.- - If you enter frequency ranges out of sequence e.g, 80; 3000, 400 8000,1000 . Then they will be stored in this order, I can probably enforce ordering, but it will be a pain to do and will probably be painful to use. -Whichever is easier.- - How would you want to activate. Double-clicking the frequency? -Yes, that would work.- Apesbrain's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=738 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113604 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Using this skin for mobile and works like a charm! One thing I noticed recently that the backgrand transparency seems almost none existent. I already disabled the draw background setting for browsing, now playing and queue because it became unreadable. Couldn't find a option for the settings so that makes it a bit hard to change the settings. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Looking for someone willing to update Inguz EQ/DRC settings page
Glad it is working. I am happy to make small changes and tweaks based on feedback. There are a few minor cosmetic errors, but I thought it was better to get something out and get feedback on it then spend more time polishing... In terms of Flatness, I can easily re-enable it. I think it was commented out in the original install that I had. regarding making the center frequencies on the EQ editable. I assume that you mean being able to change the frequency that is amended by the slider? So for example with 2 bands you would be able to apply changes to say 80hz and 1 Hz rather than the default 60/15360. I will need to confirm that the back-end supports this, but it is doable from a front-end perspective. The EQ sliders are horizontal: would it be possible to change to (the traditional) vertical? That would give a simple representation of an EQ graph although it would likely introduce issues changing browser window width. 2 x Touch 2 x Radio 2 x Boom 1 x Intel-NUC server/squeezelite running LMS 8.20 (from nightlies) on Windows 10 1 X Odroid-XU4 server/squeezelite running LMS 7.91 on Ubuntu 16.04 1 x iMac server running macOS Big Sur WaveIO USB into Lavry DA-10 DAC Starfish Pre-amp : Based on NAIM NAC 72 Heavily modified NAIM NAP 250 Power-amp Focal Electra 1027 Be II Speakers bobertuk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30376 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113604 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
