Carol Ann,

I do watch all the nature programs, probably saw them all. I'm very familiar
with the plight of a Cheetah that are so inbred that 85% of their genes are
identical. It is surprising that they are not extinct yet. I know of a Polar
Bear problems with the global warming. I know about bees being disoriented by
the pesticides and dying by the millions. And I do realize that if the bees
will go extinct so will we. I know about the assault that humans unleash on
the Earth. In a way I agree with the powers that be that there are too many
people on earth, do not agree with their method of genocide though.

The thought of ETs treating us like we treat animals is really chilling. But
then, we ARE less intelligent and advanced than they are... :( Wonder what are
their plans for us I don't think they want us extinct because the do have
means to do us in if they wanted to, right? They are visiting and observing
humans for eons but we are still here. I loved the books of Erich von Daniken,
read them all...LOL Very easy reading.

Anyway, I wish I saw a UFO but never did. Too bad...

Barbara

Barbara, you are right on point re the "coming to take a look at us,
Earthlings." :)

Have you ever watched the wild life shows wherein naturalists,
microbiologists, geneticists, environmental specialists, etc work as teams,
tagging and tracking animals. They monitor a species migration patterns,
habitat, mating rituals, the societies hierarchy, health, etc. etc...to
determine longevity and/or which species are facing extinction.

Sometimes, they intervene by pass poaching regulations, cross/selective
breeding, etc and sometimes they let nature takes it course simply because
there is nothing that can be done. The Ice Caps, native habitat to the Polar
Bear, are melting. They the Polar cannot exist in the wild anywhere else on
Earth. I was watching a special on the nature channel that basically
concluded, Polar Bears are facing total extinction within the next 100 years.

What or who is to say that ETs do not have similar objectives. That they are
simply monitoring us as a species in the ways human scientists do with animals.
Its a 24/7 job taking place, from the deepest rain forests and tropics to the
Antarctic. I know, its a rather disheartening, dastardly idea, that humans, to
the ET's, could be nothing more than an interest or curiosity. That what we
ourselves do to animals that we consider to be lower, less intelligent life
forms on planet earth, ET's are doing with us.

Then again, when a species disappears or is threatened with extinction, the
eco system as a whole, and our lives, are affected. To some extent, seriously.
With profound consequences. The Honey Bee is a great example. It could also
be that if humans do become extinct, be it from their own stupid foolishness
and folly, ie. war/weapons of mass destruction, Somehow, the ET's existence
will be greatly affected as well. As the honey bee is a totality of Earths
microcosm, so are humans to the health and well being of the Galaxy, or
Universe.

Perhaps, certain ET's have a vested interest in our survival. Perhaps, among
them or their species, there are poachers?

In my answer to the lady's earlier inquiry about glaucoma protocols, I
stated that we did not have any history of direct address to glaucoma
research. While a true statement, I had forgotten that we DID have
knowledge of some research which showed promise. Another research group
had achieved measurable benefit from the use of a well-known
nutritional substance, quite common in present use. This group
announced this fact in their findings, and I quote: "Lipoic acid
alleviates glaucoma (after one month of treatment with 150 mg of alpha
lipoic acid per day 47% of persons with glaucoma exhibited improvement
in visual acuity, visual field color acuity, visual field color
discrimination, and increased lacrimal tear flow." ) Co-incidentally,
this group established that Alpha Lipoic Acid ( at 400 to 600 mg daily)
reduced the incidence of cataracts in diabetics.
Upon reflection I believe that improved response to glaucoma would
result from much higher levels of Alpha Lipoic (on the order of 1000 mg
daily), than was achieved by our colleagues using a lower quantity.
Since alpha lipoic is, in actuality, a nutrient..toxicity is not a
consequential consideration--therefore, its use should not present
a conflict to the older woman's existing health paradigmspossibly
allowing for an effective suggestion by her family, or close
associatesfor using it. Our ongoing researches/evaluations of alpha
lipoic are presenting us with an ever-increasing appreciation for its
widespread benefits in human health.

Sincerely, Brooks Bradley. Harborne Research Foundation.

Re: CS>ALA Post by Brooks Bradley

2008-01-24 Thread Hanneke

Is this the post you are referring to?

Hanneke

From: "Brooks Bradley"
To:
Subject: Re: CS>[RE]CS>rheumatoid arthritis

Dear Richard,
Type I diabetes is, in general, quite pernicious.imposing more
serious challenges
on the subject, than does the Adult Onset type (Type II). However,
there are a number of similar
effects.not the least of which is the neuralgia component, and
common demands placed upon the liver functionexperienced in both
types of diabetes. We have, in the past, determined that the simple
expedient of ingesting about 200 mg daily of Alpha Lipoic Acid does,
in fact, greatly aid such presentations.when used as an
adjunctiuve protocol. The benefits, usually, present quite rapidly in
cases of extremity neuralgia (most notably, the feet). The itching,
burning-type sensations experienced in the feet are quite distressing
in many cases..and the addition of ALA has (in a majority of
cases) demonstrated to be most beneficial in these circumstances.
Recently, my own 82 year old brother (a long-term sufferer of Type II
diabetes) gained immediate relief from severe lower-extremity
neuralgia, from an ALA protocol similar to the one mentioned above.
An additional benefit, frequently occurring, is the lower insulin
requirement for adequate glucose manageme! nt. As ALA is a superb
liver function support,
allowing improved pancreatic function..secondary enzyme
production demands are lowered considerably. Additionally, ALA
provides splendid vitamin C recycling effects, plus improving the
systemic resistance toward seizures of many types..among younger
children (10 years and under)...especially. These effects have been
confirmed in the researches of Dr. Russell Blaylock, and summarized
in his splendid book "Excitotoxins; The Taste That Kills"; which
should be required reading for every medical
professional-especially those in family practice.
There are other substances we have found to be of value, but
immediate time available prevents me from elaborating. I will attempt
to continue my comments on this subject at a later timeim the
near future. I apologize for having to close at this point, but I
must go now. I wish you the greatest success in your endeavors
addressing the challenges of Type I diabetes and its complications.

Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.

Re: CS>ALA Post by Brooks Bradley

2008-01-24 Thread Hanneke

Or is it this one:

We have, during a research effort circa 2000 through
2004.experienced very effective
ancillary support for MANY toxin and liver enzyme insults, including
those originating from chemical as well as biological
challengesthrough the simple expedient of Alpha Lipoic Acid
(ALA). Among our canine presentations we found that 100 mg per 10 lbs
bodyweight up to a maximum of 1000 mg for animals 100 lbs plus,
yielded quite acceptable.sometimes SPECTACULAR results. ALA has
demonstrated to be one of the most outstanding support protocols we
have ever used for both toxic liver insults and non-specific
challenges of unknown originof any substance, or group of
substances we have ever evaluated. Quite acceptable results were
achieved through oral administration for the animal population.
I strongly encourage you to investigate experimenting with this
protocol...in your EXPERIMENTAL CANINE MEDICAL RESEARCHES.

Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.
P,S. Alpha Lipoic Acid (administered I.V. (around the 1500 mg per
treatment level for 150 lb adult human) has demonstrated to be the
ONLY reliable protocol for saving persons having consumed lethal
quantities (VERY SMALL) of the poisonous members of the Amanita
mushroom family. ALA, literally, saves the liver tissue from
high-speed disintegration. Persons interested in researching the
person who discovered this protocol might do a Google search under
Dr. Bert Berkson, M.D..or look up his Book on Amazon. I believe
it is entitled the "Alpha Lipoic Acid Breakthrough". I believe you
will find it both informative and fascinating. We are still
evaluating ALA for its many beneficial qualities for human health
support. It has demonstrated a more distinctive improvement among our
Type II Diabetic experimental volunteersthan any other single
protocol and has resulted in the most effective, non-toxic, reduction
in insulin support requirement quantities..from! among a very
large group of candidate substances. It may be purchased across the
counter at most health supplement stores. Walmart carries it. It is
astonishingly economicalfor what it has demonstrated as a health
support.at least that has been our experience. The foregoing is
NOT to be construed as medical advice. We are an Experimental
Research Group and DO NOT practice ANY form of Medicine.

Yahoo groups are each separate entities, you must sign up and join

You may have to wait a day for approval on the petswithcancer as they

Tell you what, I'll send a recommendation to the list so they'll

  Hello Listers,

I don't post often and although is I'm sure will become off topic; I'd like
to share my experience as a 5 year old child.

I had just arrived from overseas landing in Montreal, Canada- 1969. I was
getting a bath from my dad in one of those motels where you share bathrooms
when we started hearing great commotion outside. As he dried me off quickly,
got me dressed and decided to go out; It was dark at this point and raining. We
stood under the awning trying to figure out why everyone had stopped driving
their cars and got out to look up. When we looked up we didn't see anything at
first.

Because I was small all I could see were two walls of buildings acting as a
horizon. Then all of a sudden we heard a loud humming noise coming from over
head and then appeared a "saucer" like shape with a glowing red light hovering
what seemed to me like right over the street. It was unmistakable because it
seemed like it was literally over our heads even though it may have been
hundreds of feet up. Nobody moved. Everyone and their uncles were outside
watching. In as much as the instant it arrived, it' also disappeared over the
horizon of buildings. All I could think of."why doesn't this look like anything
that I know." Like the plane that I just arrived in. So I asked my dad what was
it; he said it was a spaceship. I asked again what was inside. He told me
spacemen.

  I couldn't make any reference.

Remarkable or perhaps unremarkable; this story never made the news, or
headlines and was never spoken of the next day, not even by locals.

So, I believe they are true, and to this day I can recall the story in detail
as to the events which took place 39 years ago.

Why then would a 5 year old remember such an odd event as a kid when there
are so many other things to preoccupy a kids mind.

  Ernie

My husband and I were traveling to Yakima where we lived, it was about
11:30pm we were on the freeway(freeway goes through the military res) when all
of a sudden something was firing small bits of fire at us almost as if it were
bullets but no noise nothing hit the car. It was so bad and lasted so long it
drove us off the road. It came at us from above the windshield.

Another incidence at the same spot, little round crafts, looked like dinner
plates, constantly dove at out car swooped out of no where and dove time and
again, there were many of them. needless to say we again were driven off the
freeway and were as scared as he..

after that we never traveled at nite.

Lurkers have no rights to voice their opinions. If they are not active, they
have to take whatever comes their way.
If you want the list go your way, start posting about CS and it is guaranteed
to discuss the CS.
Just my opinion.

So, how does it happen that something posted to the OT list finds its way
to the main list as well.
Sometimes, when I read an OT and send a reply, I am thinking it's going
to the OS/OT list so I merely hit the reply button.

How does it come to be that a topic suddenly gets dissimanted between the
two lists? This has happened a few times recenlty within different
subjects. The replies should be going to the list that initiated the
topic. Unless, someone is sending to both lists and just confusing us
all?

Re: CS>CS - UFO Sightings ??????????

2008-01-24 Thread Carol Ann
Hi Jerry,
Mainstream media without fail tends towards keeping such topics as UFO's as
ridiculous conspiracies entertained by the demented, paranoid, totally
discrediting their existence. Almost laughable subject matter that the general
public should not bother themselves with knowing about.

In some ways, CS has in the past been treated in the same way. If the
approval dosen't come from the FDA for specificity, its not worth anything.

Without doubt, mystery prevails. Until only recently, with the introduction
of Congressional Weather Modification Bills, the subject of Chemtrails vs
Contrails have been poo pooed as being illusionary and non existant. At first
govt said they were nothing BUT contrails. Don't worry your little heads about
them. They ARE proving by certain segments of scientific communities to be
something different. They ARE weather modification projects. They CAN affect
our climates, thus our health.

Personally, I've been entertaining the possible causes of the newly
developing diseases such as Morgellans and the expotential increases in other
more recent syndromes plaguing people. What's to say that if fallout from
Chemtrails is proven to be a factor, that emissions or adverse or possible
atmospheric disruptions from UFO's are not contributing as well.

Yup, you're right though, that this is the CS list proper, and UFO's, per
list regs should be relegated to back room discussions. Some folks just aren't
interested in what goes on in our skies, or how we could all as a species, be
affected by such activity. Great to know about CS...the heck with
everything else not related. :)

Typically, when people hire a security service, those people pay it.
In this case, for whatever reason that didn't happen and it's caught
between what it was designed to do and who pays the bills.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who pays in the end or
that paying someone else to pay somebody is going to cost more.

It takes studying around 5,000 compounds to come up with one that might do
the job, another several million dollars to pre test it on animals to get
it approved FOR the next step even if the books are cooked a little.
THEN, come the triple blinds at 3 or 4 million a pop and mega law suits
if something got missed or 10 people out of a hundred thousand have a bad time.

It would be interesting to see what the "Pharms" profit margin really
is. The retail clothing industry runs at around 300%, Big oil at around
17%, WallyWorld at around 11%.

Sorry Ode, but your take on human nature is a bit tainted. I mean, where
did you get the idea that we all need 'looking after'? I can fend quite
well for myself thank you very much and can well do without the

Here is the Washington Post's Mensa Invitational which once again asked readers
to take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting, or
changing one letter, and supply a new definition.

Here are the winners:

1. Cashtration: (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the subject
financially impotent for an indefinite period of time.

2. Ignoranus : A person who's both stupid and an asshole.

3. Intaxication : Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you
realize it was your money to start with.

4. Reintarnation : Coming back to life as a hillbilly.

5. Bozone (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright ideas
from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of
breaking down in the near future.

6. Foreploy: Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of getting
laid.

7. Giraffiti: Vandalism spray-painted very, very high

8. Sarchasm : The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who
doesn't get it.

9. Inoculatte : To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.
10. Osteopornosis : A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit.)

11. Karmageddon : It's like, when everybody is sending off all these really bad
vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a serious
bummer.

12. Decafalon (n.): The gruelling event of getting through the day consuming
only things that are good for you
13. Glibido : All talk and no action.
14. Dopeler effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come
at you rapidly.
15. Arachnoleptic fit (n.): The frantic dance performed just after you've
accidentally walked through a spider web.
16. Beelzebug (n.) : Satan in the form of a mosquito, that gets into your
bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.
17. Caterpallor ( n.): The colour you turn after finding half a worm in the
fruit you're eating.

I personally have never seen a UFO. My husband on the other hand has. He is
one of the most stable, kind, reliable people I know. He was military
(drafted--not by choice) and once coming out was a deputy for 36 years in a
large county in Florida. (He preferred to think of himself as a "peace
officer.") When he was a teenager in Nashville saw two UFO's. He doesn't talk
about it often but he knows what he saw and I believe him.

Re: CS>OT - 23 Jan - UFO Sightings in Texas: Comment

2008-01-24 Thread Carol Ann
After Hurricane Andrew we were just about without anything. Electricity, water,
gas, etc. for weeks. Nights were pitch black. A few days after Andrew,
while myself and 2 of my sons were laying in cots on the back porch - (August -
temps were sauna)..it was around 1 am, we had just settled down to go to
sleep.

Not even 5 minutes had passed before we all saw IT at the same time. Two sons
saw IT in the sliding glass door reflection, I saw it directly. One screamed
"Holy Sxit" and we all bolted. All three of us simultaneously made a scramble
into the house. In hindsight it was rather funny, 3 people trying to get though
the open sliding glass door at the same time. Door practically came off the
runner. Nevertheless, it was about 4 am before anyone could sleep, and that
was due to sheer exhaustion.

We lived in a built up single family subdivision. What ever it was IT was so
enormously large that it appeared to rise from the house behind us...in size
would take up approximately 3/4 of a block. Just to give you an idea of size,
I block would comprise about 6 single family 2800 sq ft homes on 8,000 sf lots.

IT was this solid Red Globe. Akin to an early rising sun. It rose into the
night sky...and then, was suddenly gone. I have since found out that there are
sightings of such things in areas where natural disasters have occurred. Where
radar is down you basically have no fly zones. Homestead AF base was
completely destroyed - No flights leaving/arriving MIA due to damage.

Having a camera to take such pictures makes no difference. They will be
proclaimed as frauds by those who greater credence is usually afforded i.e govt
agencies. IF, it were me that just saw what I did, I might rethink what I saw,
or whether I really saw what I saw at all.
3 persons - 1 in their 20's and another 16, seeing the exact same
thingleaves me with no doubt that we saw what we saw. I reject the remote
unmanned theories. Interestingly enough, Canada's ex minister of defense
Hellyer has been demanding that the US come clean about what it knows of
UFO's. International symposiums are being held around the world.

http://www.exopolitics.org/Exo-Comment-38.htm

"In 2007, the Ottawa Citizen reported that Hellyer is demanding that world
governments disclose alien technology that could be used to solve the problem
of. climate change "I would like to see what (alien) technology there might be
that could eliminate the burning of fossil fuels within a generation ... that
could be a way to save our planet," Hellyer told the paper. He also said that
"We need to persuade governments to come clean on what they know. Some of us
suspect they know quite a lot, and it might be enough to save our planet if
applied quickly enough"

Peter Jennings. One of the few mainstream media coverages.
http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/Primetime/Story?id=528711&page=2
 http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/popup?id=524616

I could see how the US, et al global control centers would consider aliens and
their technology re eliminating fossil fuel dependency as a threat, thereby
considering them to be enemies.

"Jonathan B. Britten" wrote: I don't doubt the
reports.These could be remotely-operated unmanned

If there's nothing alive inside, no worries.

Where do they come from and where do they go? There could be bases on
the dark side of the moon for all we know. . .

This is so true, and its even worse here in the UK. You can't do
*anything* now but that it has to have some sort of safety factor until it
makes doing whatever it was, impossible. I think its also designed to stop
people suing councils etc., after all, why should we go about actually
*looking* where we are going? So much more sensible for the councils to
have to smooth every bit of paving and road etc., so people don't trip up
it! My dad must be spinning in his grave with irritation! Dee

In 1952 a whole bunch of UFOs gathered over the White House. caught on
radar, played games with several flights of fighter jets, photos on the
front pages, official statements read like "They do not pose a
threat"..etc ie: We have no idea what or who they are, can't do a thing
about it, but they don't seem to be unfriendly.

These things have only been around for 500,000 years or so...Reported By
Columbus and Alexander the GreatJimmie Carterpainted in Middle Ages
frescosairlines and military pilots.
Much info and dis-info around. You just can't trust ex military to not
be on a pay role.

I've been told that all the triangular ones are "ours", but I'm not buying
the "all" part, maybe "a very few". Big maybe.

Now, see, this response to Ode is a prime example of a knee-jerk
reaction! I think anybody on
this list who has paid any attention at all to Ode's writings must be
chuckling at this! Of all
the people I've known in my life, Ode would be in the TOP TEN of people
who don't believe "we"

need "looking after"!

## No, I believe we "shouldn't" need looking after.
The Gov't sees us as children that wants protection they can't pay for
and they are for the greater part, correct.
Those that don't need looking after *go around* obstacles and don't spend
their time complaining about those who aren't helping them
"properly"...because..they didn't need the help to start with.
The anti kick back devise I was made to pay for makes it hard to cut wood
with a chain saw. I take it off so I can *use* the danged thing ..and keep
my dumb face out of the way.
That "solution" is a clear indication there was a problem that needed
solving...but it's a *user* problem where the solution makes the tool
virtually useless.
An Australian blade cuts wood 5 times faster than an American kick back
reducer blade. American blades are ground for safety, not
function. Telling clue?
If people been using common sense, they'd not have been cutting their heads
in half.

But really, it only takes a few noisy complaining idiots to make them
protect ALL of us, so, "maybe" MOST of us aren't stupid and those that are,
just stand out in the quiet sensible crowd.

The squeaky wheel gets all of them greased.

A quacking duck is a "target".
 A target is a distraction.
This one doesn't dodge and weave... "A" show, not "THE" show.

..and most certainly not the *worst* duck.
GWB didn't blaze all the trails he happens to be on.

Most of this countries problems started a long time ago and have been
avoided for many decades.

Many of the worlds problems have been avoided for centuries.
Pimples do tend to come to a head.
ANYONE who happens to be there will get puss all over them when they pop.

Presidents actually have very little power.
 Even less than most Governers.

CS>UFO sighting

2008-01-24 Thread Ernie Patai
Hello Listers,

I don't post often and although is I'm sure will become off topic; I'd like
to share my experience as a 5 year old child.

I had just arrived from overseas landing in Montreal, Canada- 1969. I was
getting a bath from my dad in one of those motels where you share bathrooms
when we started hearing great commotion outside. As he dried me off quickly,
got me dressed and decided to go out; It was dark at this point and raining.
We stood under the awning trying to figure out why everyone had stopped
driving their cars and got out to look up. When we looked up we didn't see
anything at first.

Because I was small all I could see were two walls of buildings acting as a
horizon. Then all of a sudden we heard a loud humming noise coming from over
head and then appeared a "saucer" like shape with a glowing red light
hovering what seemed to me like right over the street. It was unmistakable
because it seemed like it was literally over our heads even though it may
have been hundreds of feet up. Nobody moved. Everyone and their uncles were
outside watching. In as much as the instant it arrived, it' also disappeared
over the horizon of buildings. All I could think of."why doesn't this look
like anything that I know." Like the plane that I just arrived in. So I
asked my dad what was it; he said it was a spaceship. I asked again what was
inside. He told me spacemen.

I couldn't make any reference.

Remarkable or perhaps unremarkable; this story never made the news, or
headlines and was never spoken of the next day, not even by locals.

So, I believe they are true, and to this day I can recall the story in
detail as to the events which took place 39 years ago.

Why then would a 5 year old remember such an odd event as a kid when there
are so many other things to preoccupy a kids mind.
