Yes, and its not a bug. 9002 is the lms default in DSM. As said, the ports on synology for packages are defined (hard coded) in the config of the package. There no way to change that and make it persist after a reboot, other than changing the config file in the package, before install. -DS718+, RPI 2 ('Spotifyd' (https://github.com/Spotifyd/spotifyd)/'myMPD' (https://jcorporation.github.io/myMPD/)),Aune S6 - Exposure 3010S2 - PMC FB1i-s -DS115 test server -'Logitech Media Server 8.0.0 for Synology ' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111876-LmsUpdate-and-LmsRepack-Synology-8-0-*-packages) pinkdot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34644 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113236 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0 Synology persist port change
The port is indeed part of the config that comes with the package! When installing a package, Synology checks if this port is free to use. If already in use, the install will fail. Port 9000 was once used by Surveillance Station but is free to use now. Surveillance Station moved to 9900 and 9901. So, it will only persist after a reboot when I change the ports accordingly. @Hawkeyenl What is the reason you want to change port 9002 to 9000? -DS718+, RPI 2 ('Spotifyd' (https://github.com/Spotifyd/spotifyd)/'myMPD' (https://jcorporation.github.io/myMPD/)),Aune S6 - Exposure 3010S2 - PMC FB1i-s -DS115 test server -'Logitech Media Server 8.0.0 for Synology ' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111876-LmsUpdate-and-LmsRepack-Synology-8-0-*-packages) pinkdot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34644 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113236 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

If something is 'fighting' with the default port (9002, on Synology nas), as Apesbrain suggests, you could change the port to 9000.Just go to Settings --> Advanced --> Network and change the Web Server Port Number to 9000. What version of LMS is running on the DS918+? Are you aware of the possibility to run 7.9.1 on the DS, this version will show in your Package Center after activating the beta channel. Or, even 7.9.2, using this post: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?108960-Synology-7-9-2-packages This probably won't bring back all your songs but might increase scanning speed. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] 400 Bad Request problem w/ LMS 7.9.2 on piCoreplayer
Some at the Synology thread said that Tidal wasn't working anymore after updating to 7.9.2. The previous 7.9.1 build I made was from before April 11th. So, I revert 'this' (https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/commit/fffb61f8ae8fffc03623598cad9bcd0acb519abb) commit in the 7.9.2 build, thinking that was causing the issue and stop Tidal from working. After reverting the commit Tidal was working again. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Running LMS on a Synology DS209
Hi Pieman1972, - That's correct. There is no other LMS available in DSM4.2. So the beta channel won't show another version. - Yes, you can. I build packages for DSM4 5 and 6 to keep LMS up to date on our Synology. There is a package available for your DS209. Some plug-ins are deprecated (this is probably what you see in the logs) and will be removed or replaced by others. Still active plug-ins will be updated. - If you don't have tweaked your LMS or have a very large library, it might be a good Idea to start from scratch, but you also can install the new version over the 7.7.3 version. Download 7.9.0 for DSM4: http://server.pinkdot.nl/dsm4/ Thread: 'Test-Repo-for-LMS-7-9-0-on-Synology-DSM-5' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103636-Test-Repo-for-LMS-7-9-0-on-Synology-DSM-5-*=817970=1#post817970) Although the title of the thread says 'test', its pretty save to install these packages on your nas ;) Greetings, Martin -Synology nas DS115 - ('LmsUpdate' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103636-Test-Repo-for-LMS-7-9-0-on-Synology-DSM-5-*=817970=1#post817970)) -RPI 2 ('Moode 3.0' (http://moodeaudio.org/)), I-SABRE V3.0 ES9023 - Exposure 3010S2 - PMC GB1i -2x Radio -Laptop - openSUSE Leap - LMS/Squeezelite pinkdot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34644 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106663 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
