First 16 pixels of columns don't react!

2005-05-11 Thread Manuel Breitfeld
Hi All,

the first ~16 pixels of the columns don't react.
When one has the symbols for parking or message flags in first columns,
one can't change its status.

Change your columns as seen in odd.png, so that parking is first.
Now you can't click on the park-symbol to park/unpark a message.
This is the same with message flags.

If you change the columns like in fine.png, everything is fine.

It seems that the first ~16 pixels aren't clickable. ;)

MWot but you can check out IMAP for free. See http://www.cwazy.co.uk/.

I don't need to try any free accounts, my domain host provides both POP
and IMAP so I could just change all my accounts to IMAP including this
one. My host isn't gmail either, I've always had 2Gb of storage.

I'll give it a try one day, maybe even later today.

Hello Jan,

Can someone work on this with me so I can get up running again with
the newer betas. I'm back to v10 as it is the most stable for me.

I've read you don't have a batskin.xml file anywhere.

Try this:
- If you are using any Theme, set to default and/or try different
themes.
- Remove any *.PNG file you may have in your The Bat! directory.
- If you have done/tried any customisation, remove any tbuser.def you
may have in your The Bat! or MAIL directories.
- Remove any other *.def files from your The Bat! directory.

Do it step by step and see if they make any difference.

Cosmetic: non-transparent icons [was Re: The Bat! 3.5 Return RC7 is now available]

2005-05-11 Thread Mary Bull
Hello Michael!

On Wednesday, May 11, 2005, 1:32 AM, you wrote:

I have some icons that do not have a transparent background as all
others, which look 'strange'. These icons are in:
 Connection center
 Address book
 Address picker
E-mail composer (only message priority and confirmation
 options)

This was also present in previous betas.

 Anyone can confirm ?

Exactly the same for me with same icons. I have posted this a
couple of times as others did. Though it's cosmetic only, I already
mentioned that this is a show stopper for me because it looks very
 unprofessional.

Confirmed in all the places listed by Julien. But not a show-stopper
for me, although it would enhance the professional look if fixed, in
the same way that fixing spelling errors enhances professional
appearance.

Re: RC/5 (and still in RC/7): occasionally POP3-Fetch-Task-Hang

CM incoming POP3-messages for viruses (roughly translated from German).

Newly discovered that I sometimes cannot even cancel or delete the
mail retrieving task in Connection Centre.

However, if there has been one task hanger during a session, I
cannot close TheBat!, no matter if I could kill or delete the hanging
task beforehand.

The Bat! will always ask for waiting active tasks: Some tasks are now
active. No matter which button I click (Yes/No/Abort), TheBat! does
not close. I have to use the Windows TaskManger to end the session.

The Problem persists with RC/7. Perhaps this problem is related to the
problem with NOD32-Plugin mentioned in

Well, not only am I missing the 'Edit' entry in the toolbar (it is
there, but it has no text assigned and is rather short because of
that), but also is the 'edit' option missing from the pop-up window,
the shortcut for editing 'enter' gets displayed on the proper place,

I suppose I have to delete a file before the RC-version will start working

RC7: Virtual Folders not being marked as Read

2005-05-11 Thread Stuart Cuddy
Hello tbbeta,

Not sure if this is new, but in RC7 my virtual folders that see
attachments and one other are not being marked as read when the
original message is marked as read. Note I have auto-refresh selected
but it seems not to be functioning. If I RMB on the folder and select
Refresh it clears the Unread messages.

Also every now and then I am still getting sort order changed form
created to Message Flag.

Confirmations.

M - Remove any other *.def files from your The Bat! directory.

what are the other def files?

I've seen your screen shot and your's are missing too.

I'm not talking about text, I'm talking about buttons, not the one's down
the front of your shirt, not the on/off buttons on the front of your PC.
I'm talking about clickable toolbar buttons that are supposed to have

The reason is that I have a lot of jpegs and genealogical files my
sister has sent me over the years, and I think perhaps they would be
more accessible from a separate Attach folder, in the event TB! should

Hi Mary. I've also noticed that depending on where my cursor is, icons
are active or not. For example, if my cursor is on an account, all
icons are available. If my focus shifts to a msg folder, some icons --
including send/receive become inactive. Maybe this is something new
that got caught in the cracks because of all my installations.
