Currently, thebat.net is listed in SARS So any email server using Spanassassin and SARE will show thebat.net as having a spam score.. see below. 2.2 SARE_STOCK_MSG_ID2 Msg ID 'thebat.net' In additon, CIFnet has the SPF in DNS listed for thebat.net (which has the policy only, not the full listing for SPF,) to v=spf1 mx -all so SPF totally Fails ! This means that any email server who rejects on a hard fail of SPF, (many do), will reject any email which has thebat.net as the sender, irrespective if it is sent from Gmail. thebat.net certainly fails SPF on my server. CIFnet needs to loosen their SPF policy for thebat.net in their DNS. They don't even recognize/accept email coming from their own servers :) It probably will not show up as spam again, since you allowed it. Overall, there will be problems of having thebat.net email being accepted on a lot of email servers because of the issues I mentioned previously, that of having a SARES listing and setting a hard fail in its SPF policy. And as you know from an earlier mail of mine, gmail said it was spam until I declared it to be not spam and now gmail accepts it with no question.
