The settings you sent me on the screenshot by PM all tallied with mine, except that you have Automatically checked and I have Always. Just in case it might be in the scrollable menu hanging up, I tested by asking for Automatically--works fine. Switched back to Always--Ticker appeared. Change did not take place for Automatically, however, until I had read all the unread messages showing there. (Not relevant to your case, I know.) The third option, Hide, behaves here in the same way. That is, normally. Mail Ticker hides when asked, reappears immediately upon OK for the Always choice. I'd back up and install RC2 or perhaps 3.0.2.10 over the current version and see if that gave back the Mail Ticker, if I encountered this deficiency on my own machine. The settings you sent me on the screenshot by PM all tallied with mine, except that you have Automatically checked and I have Always. I checked out both, automatic and always with the same negative result. To get rid of this problem, I have reverted to RC2 just for this one mail. The ticker now shows up whenever option always is set but remains static: not to get moving. Just the message: xxx new messages. When I chose automatic it vanishes again. And I haven't changed a thing, until I noticed the ticker being paralyzed. Since I set it up on a new machine with a fresh Win install, new firewall and so on -yep, it's springtime- I wondered if some of the cabs Win is extracting might have been damaged or something like that. In fact I never had the exact same course on any Windows installation twice, always it seemed to be a bit different than the last time. I thought that it could be OS-related. Re: v3.5 Return RC4 -mailticker broken
Hello Charlene, Which entries are correct? hmm, with a solution 1024x768 the ticker is outside of the monitor. Try in Dezimal: Left and Top 70 and shift it to the desired place. -- best regards Miroslav BAT-MAIL.DE.VU - http://bat-mail.de.vu News-Ticker: http://thebat.orgavision.de/bat-mail.xml Klipfolio Klip: http://thebat.orgavision.de/klipfolio Current beta is 3.5 Return RC/4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
