Fair enough but Michael/Logitech have never said that this is an open ended project (I've never managed an open ended project - how do you manage and measure them??). From what I can gather Napster have updated their server certificates without testing on SB. They will not roll back which means Logitech need to fix their end. I would have thought Logitech could put together a plan with an ETA - it cannot be open ended. Michael I am not having a go at you - I really appreciate all of the effort you continue to give the SB community :). Let's also not forget that this is of course Napster's fault for not doing some basic testing! Hmm, still nothing, right? I do miss that functionality on my squeezebox devices... Internet radio is fine, but choosing the artist and music style is unbeatable. Does anyone have suggestions for unbricking my SB Touch? I tried factory reset, volume up method, plus key method etc. without success. Boot sounds are still played, but the screen remains all white. The problem started after the SB Touch crashed when playing a Napster stream. Help is much appreciated. Is there any update on this please? Not really. We're investigating the issue, but haven't come to a conclusion yet what might be causing the problem. Rhapsody/Napster say that they saw correct requests from our end, and that these were served successfully. Yet we fail somehow. In case you're caught in a re-boot loop, try one of the following: - if using LMS, restart it. That should get back the player to a stopped mode, from where you can play something different. - if connected to mysb.com, then unplug the device for 5+ minutes. Thanks Michael. I sent another email to Napster yesterday and they have now acknmowledged the issue saying many others have also emailed them. They also state that their engineers are working on it but give no ETA for a resolution. HB In some way it's a relief to hear that this is being experienced by others and hopefully in the process of being sorted. I only realised tonight that the problem was with the Napster App and not my squeezebox touch in general as found it could play local music seved from my PC wheras trying to play from Napster causes crash/reboot- we usually use Napster all the time for all music as it normally works so well. I have raised with Napster but their wonderful customer support simply told me to ensure that I was running the latest software and did not acknowledge the issue at all. Hi, I am glad to read, that there is an Issue with the napster Software. I wanted to add here, that I experience the issue with my Radio, but not with my Boom nor the Duet. All are connected to mysqueezebox. The radio crashes after trying to play a Napster song. I am using the boom and the duet to play songs on Napster without having and issue. Dear all, This is driving me nuts...I really love(d) my Squeezebox devices but since two days now, the system just crashes whenever I try to play anything from Napster. I have no clue what might have changed. My setup is: - Local Squeezbox Server on my Synology NAS - Squeezbox UE Rade - Squeezbox Touch Both are successfully connected to my local server, but plugin just crashes all the time. Unfortunately I have to confirm that we're seeing crashes with Rhapsody/Napster streams. See this announcement: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/MySqueezebox-com-Squeezebox/MySqueezebox-com-Outage-Notification-1-24-2014/td-p/1183599 Rhapsody got in touch with us about this issue. This seems to be an issue since they updated their server certificates. Why they would crash the player we yet have to figure out. Could you please check your server.log file to see whether there is anything related to rhapsody/napster? Here the same thing: 1 Squeezebox Classic and 2 Squeezebox Radios. If i start something on Napster/Rhapsody, the Radio opens the track, but no sounds coming, a few seconds later the Radio starts new und it lost the WiFi Connection - i have to put in the Password new ... its long :( This happens on al three devices.
