[SOGo] Bug with attachment filename?

2013-09-11 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Bonjour,

A simple text file, without any extension leads to a Proxy Error in the
Web UI.

Someone told me that a filename beginning with a tilde (~) leads identically
to this Proxy Error.

Attached is a sample text file named testFichier used for our latest
test.

Bug, or configuration (SOGo, Postfix…) error ?

[SOGo] Cannot create shared folders anymore

2013-08-29 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Bonjour,

We cannot create shared folders anymore, with new users. Since 2.0.6, I
think.

The Web UI displays its pages as usual (user choice for sharing, acl
with checkboxes), but nothing is done.

Below are some lines of a tcpflow recording session :

setacl INBOX user.shar...@imereos.fr lr
OK Setacl complete.
getacl INBOX
ACL INBOX user.shar...@imereos.fr alr

And the dovecot-acl file is updated accordingly!

user.sharing is the logged user.
But I tried to share with another.u...@imereos.fr
I think I should see :

setacl INBOX another.u...@imereos.fr lr

no?

Something I missed? Bug?

Thanks.

If both GNUstepDefaults and sogo.conf exists, then both are used.

Old installs, upgraded to 2.0.4a do not need the /etc/sogo/sogo.conf

Can I say that .GNUstepDefaults is omitted if it does not exists when
sogod runs for the first time?

It may be related to the fact that, for a new installation, the sogo

the sogo user remains a normal user with home at /home/sogo.

[SOGo] damaged pdf attachments

2012-11-09 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Bonjour,

We experienced something weird, and critical, with pdf attachments
mainly, but with image files too (jpg).

It seems to be related to the 2.0.2 version: we did not experienced this
use case with SOGo v2.0.1

Below, some tests:

- pdf file (named contract.pdf) sent to me by another operator.
I received it with Mutt, and I can read it with epdfviewer
- I save the file on disk, and can read it, too
- I send the saved file to me on a SOGo server, and cannot read it,
neither with Firefox (Iceweasel 10.0.10) nor with Opera (11 for Linux)

The op I am working with is doing parallel tests:

- He sends contract.pdf to him, and can read it with TB
but cannot with Firefox ESR, IE8, Chrome
- He sends to me contract.pdf from Web UI (Firefox, IE8, Chrome, TB) and I
cannot read it with the Web UI and Iceweasel.

Before testing, I removed the mimeTypes.rdf file of my Iceweasel
profile.

Any clue?

Thanks,

No way! SOGo creates new tables and new rows in the sogo_folder_info
tables when the user connects, and the requests for Agendas and Contacts
 are failing.

 Other ideas?

Solved!!

There is a lack of error message in the `-f ALL` option.

I began by restoring preferences, with
`sogo-tool restore -p backup-folder user`
So far, so good! I did not believe it!

Then I tried `sogo-tool restore -l backup-folder user`, which gave
me the list of folders.

I began by Contacts/personal, and had an error for user g.fremery

no user table '/Users/g.fremery/Contacts/personal' found

Having the error, I was able to fix the problem: in the backup file the
table names were /Users/g.frem...@imereos.fr/Contacts/personal, for this
folder. I had to delete the @imereos part of the folder name, and could
restore the backup.

I already had a problem concerning the backup file name: it was
something like au...@imereos.fr, and I had to rename it shortly as aUser
to be able to load it (error message saying the backup file could not be
loaded).

It's a pity that the `restore -f ALL` did not send me an error upon the
table name, as the `-f folder` did.

Have a nice Sunday!

problems for mails, with rsync between folders. But I have not been able

and creating new tables from the dump.

I tried with sogo-tool restore (from a backup) : restore -f ALL

No way! SOGo creates new tables and new rows in the sogo_folder_info
tables when the user connects, and the requests for Agendas and Contacts
are failing.

If you send an email to email address only (without a name), then it is

So Postfix tries to send to a remote mail server? This means that your
mail already has been successfully queued to leave your server

 maximal_queue_lifetime (default: 5d)
The maximal time a message is queued before it is sent back as
 undeliverable.

 is reached.

check mailq and see, if your mails are waiting for delivery

Yes, mails seems to be here.

Currently I would say this is not SOGo related, it is a Postfix
 configuration issue (IF ANY)

May be. But we use a Debian stable release, not modified so often. And
we did not have those problems with previous versions.

I can see same errors on another production server, Debian Stable too,
upgraded to 1.3.15 the same day:

[SOGo] OpenChange connector compilation error

Bonjour,

I have downloaded, and compiled, SOGo, using the Installation Guide for

Then I have tried to build the OpenChange Connector for SOGo.

First, I got the time.h error, referenced here:

I choosed to add the #includestdbool.h fix.

i have a working SOGo 1.3.10 installation on my debian squeeze 6.0.1
vServer and wanna upgrade to 2.0.0b3.

is it just backing up DB and config (sogoapache), then changing apt
sources to -nightly and doing an upgrade?

I fear it is not so simple !

What we did (Debian Squeeze amd64) :

- remove all SOGo and SOPE packages (remove, not purge SOGo).
- backup /etc/apache2/conf.d/SOGo.conf, /etc/init.d/sogo
these files are not removed if you did not purge the packages
- compile and install SOGo, SOPE, openchange
- configure according to the Inverse documentation
- modify /etc/init.d/sogo, and /etc/apache2/conf.d/SOGo accordingly
(path are now relative to /usr/local)
- create (or copy from Debian packages) a Samba init script
- take care of Samba starting order : must be after SOGo and slapd
- create some logrotate config file for samba
- start SOGo, start Samba

That was fine. But Outlook was not very happy with it, and we went back
to 1.3 version.

Hope this helps.

[SOGo] upgrade procedure from beta version

2011-11-09 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Bonjour,

Can anyone tell me what is the preferred procedure for upgrading from
a SOGo 2 beta version?

I made a fresh install with SOGo 2.0.0beta2, from sources. Configured as
read in the doc concerning Outlook and OpenChange. So far, so good!

Then I tried to update to beta3:
`make samba` fails if I choosed to keep the /usr/local/samba directory.

I made a copy of the beta2 /usr/local/samba directory, agreed for
deletion of /usr/local/samba/ and finished the installation process,
without any further configuration and provisionning.

Last step was to copy the content of the backuped private/ directory,
smb.conf and content of the var/locks directory.

Was it enough? Too much? May be a backup of the openchange.ldb, samdb,
smb.conf would have been sufficient? Is there a better way to achieve
this goal?

Thanks,

[SOGo] SOGo beta2 and samba4 issue

Bonjour,

SOGo beta2 installed on Debian Squeeze, replacing SOGo 1.3.9, with ldap
backend.

The user d...@cloud-business-services.eu can log into SOGo web ui.

I had to modify the user password in the openchange.ldb database,
because it was set to d...@cloud-business-services.eu, as said in the
doc SOGo Native Microsoft Outlook Configuration Guide for 2.0.0beta2.

But we cannot connect with Outlook 2007. The last log lines of samba.log
are these one below:

2011-11-07 13:20:26.995 samba[13233] METHOD '+[MAPIStoreContext

Then samba stops listening on port 135, and Outlook cannot connect
anymore.

Any idea of what went wrong ?

Thanks.

The sieve-server is running in my dovecot setup.

Is sieve really listening on port 2000 ?

[SOGo] Contacts photos within web interface

2011-06-18 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Hi all,

Is it / will it be (?) possible to add a photo for a contact using the
web interface? May be something misconfigured but I cannot see any way
of doing it!

Thanks.

Bonjour,

i have enabled log on ldap and i tried to connect a second domain on
 SOGo with fra...@ricciarelli.net.

in log SOGo connect every at first domainName
 (centroservizicontabili.it instead ricciarelli.net)
i have tried to change IDFieldName, UIDFieldName, bindFields with
 another name but not works...

Yes, but if it cannot find the requested user, SOGo tries the next
entry. It should then try to find fra...@ricciarelli.net in the second
domain. Does it ?

[SOGo] 3 domains with ldap

2011-04-29 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Hi all,

We are trying to setup a SOGo test case with 3 domains.

Here is one (the last in the config file) of our 3 domains entries.

keycloud-business-services.eu/key
dict
keySOGoMailDomain/key
stringcloud-business-services.eu/string
keySOGoSuperUsernames/key
array
stringpostmaster/string
/array
keySOGoLanguage/key
stringFrench/string
keySOGoUserSources/key
array
dict
   keyCNFieldName/key
   stringcn/string
   keyIDFieldName/key
   stringmail/string
   keyIMAPHostFieldName/key
   stringmailHost/string
   keyUIDFieldName/key
   stringmail/string
   keybaseDN/key

stringdomainName=cloud-business-services.eu,o=domains,dc=freezbiz,dc=org/string
   keybindDN/key
   stringcn=Manager,dc=freezbiz,dc=org/string
   keybindFields/key
   stringmail/string
   keybindPassword/key
   string/string
   keycanAuthenticate/key
   stringYES/string
   keydisplayName/key
   stringCarnet adresses Partagé/string
   keyhostname/key
   string127.0.0.1/string
   keyid/key
   stringcontact/string
   keyisAddressBook/key
   stringYES/string
   keyport/key
   string389/string
/dict
/array
/dict

We log in with an email address, say jm.ol...@cloud-business-services.eu

Ldap logs show that the user is queried in the first, then in the second domain
but not in the third, which is the good one with that email address.
So, the login is failing.

Obviously (?), if we try to log in with a user belonging to the first, or to
the second mail domain, login succeeds.

We tried to delete one of the two first domains: login succeeds with
the last domain (which is the last of two and fails when it was the last
of three).

I do not know if I am clear enough, but here is my stupid question: is
there any kind of limit in the domain number ? Something missing in the
domain configuration ?

Thanks,

what version of Sogo do you use ?
There was a problem 1-2 versions ago with multi domains and LDAP

Debian Squeeze box

SOGo debian package based:

SOGo 1.3.6
Sope 4.9

Your problem is the 'id' keys. They must be unique across all domains.
The 2nd and 3rd domains have the same 'id' value.

So simple ! Thank you. That's ok now.

Hi all,

I am planning to install SOGo with openchange as shown in the video
on the home page. I have few questions for it.

Don't, for now. It'll get you nowhere.

We'll let the community know when we have something that starts to be
 usable, together with installation instructions.

What about this doc ?

http://tracker.openchange.org/projects/openchange/wiki/HowTo_Setup_SOGo_with_OpenChange_Server

Must we consider it is totally out of date ?
