Re: [SOGo] Unable to Subscribe to users Public Calendar
Christian, Thanks for the reply, I had to use the Authenticated URL as their is not access to foldersSearch?type=calendar on the public side https://sogo.url/SOGo/dav/public/pubcal/foldersSearch?type=calendar requires authentication :( Even when authenticated and trying to subscribe to a public cal from the pubcal account we only see Personal and Academic calendars. Both Authenticated Users and Public Access have the same rights (Public View all, Conf / Private None). Maybe I am expecting something that is not possible? could have sworn one could point at sogo on the dav side and get a list of calendars one to subscribe to. Re: [SOGo] Unable to Subscribe to users Public Calendar
To clarify our setup We have an account named 'pubcal' that currently has ~20 calendars that are for public usage, be it cell phone, pc, mac whatever device. These calendars all have the same access : Public View All , Conf / Privet None for both Authenticated and Public Access. When a user (Authenticated) attempts to subscribe to a calendar they are ONLY presented with Personal and Academic (one of the ~20 public calendars). We have to field requests from end-users to give them full ICS URLS in order for them to subscribe as a non authenticated users, should be able to (if memory serves me correctly) provide a SOGo dav URL to 'pubcal' and a list of calendars would be presented to subscribe to. Hope that brings a bit more clarity to setup / usage. -Ron On Thursday, 09 January, 2014 10:53 EST, Ronald J. [SOGo] Multiple IMAP Accounts and Sieve rules
We are considering allowing users to configure multiple IMAP accounts under their SOGo account. For example we have financial aid users who monitor multiple IMAP accounts via T-Bird and would like to-do the same within SOGo. Enabling this is trivial at best, but does present a question regarding Sieve rules. If each account has Sieve rules how do we get them into SOGo? I wrote a perl script that will take sieve rules for a user and import them into SOGo, but not sure how to handle importing multiple account sieve rules into a single SOGo account. Noticed that within the WebUI one can only select folders from the primary mail account when creating rules, so should I assume it is not possible to handle multiple accounts with respect to sieve rules? -Ron -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Donny, Thanks for the reply! Wish this was the case, but we have been running SOGo in production for 2+ weeks without any configuration changes. Everything has been fine until this week when SOGo usage increased due to students and faculty returning from break. [SOGo] SOGo 1.3.15 not polling mail

Searching through the code I notice in ./SOGo/SoObjects/SOGo/SOGoGroup you search classes (a NSArray) as such // We check to see if it's a group classes = [[entry attributeWithName: @objectClass] allStringValues]; ... [classes containsObject: @posixGroup]) while in ./SOGo/SoObjects/SOGo/LDAPSource.m you lower case the LDAP query results before stuffing them into classes (a NSMutableArray) // We get our objectClass attribute values. We lowercase // everything for ease of search after. o = [ldapEntry objectClasses]; ... [classes replaceObjectAtIndex: i withObject: [[classes objectAtIndex: i] lowercaseString]]; ... then do the following [classes containsObject: @posixgroup]) Why the two different methods of finding posix[gG]roup? Would it be more advantageous to search for objectClasses using the same methods? -Ron -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] Set Event (Meeting) Location based on Resource Location
Is it possible to set the Event (Meeting) Location to that of an invited Resource Location? For example, we have a Resource Location of kel218 (displayName is Kellas 218) and would like the Event (Metting) Location updated to reflect that of the Resource Location displayName. Looking through the documentation and I have yet to find a way to automatically populate the Location field when a Location Resource is chosen. -Ron -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] LDAP Groups with MailFieldNames
Hello all! Trying to configure SOGo so that users can search and use LDAP for groups (Departments in our case with objectClass posixGroup) as invitees. We have a departmentMail field which contains the e-mail address for the department. We also noticed that when canAuthenticate is enabled all users are logged in as the group and not themselves, according to several google searches and the SOGo documentation canAuthenticate is required. How can I get around users logging in as the group ? [SOGo] ldap sync sogo users
Hello all, During our testing we noticed that meeting invites sent to a LDAP user who has never accessed sogo does not receive those events. For example, LDAP/sogo user Foo invites Bar who is in LDAP but not SOGo to a meeting , Bar who has never used sogo will not receive event. I have tested this with several LDAP test accounts we have and in each and every case the test user never received the event upon logging in for the first time. Does SOGo require 'SOGoAppointmentSendEMailNotifications' to be enabled in-order to function properly? If not, then is there a way to pre-populate SOGo with LDAP users or another option for first time users to receive events upon logging in? -Ron -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Re: [SOGo] Disable Mail in WebUI
Got it working, any option other than ou= People did nothing :( Also changed SOGoLoginModule to Calendar and noticed that my sogotest account always tried to access Mail due to the preference being set to use last module. Is there a way to update the DB so that the preference is Calendar? -Ron On 29-Jun-11 15:33, Ronald J.
