When compiling VDR I changed the path for the DVB driver to the dir where I compiled the new driver (in Make.config). But if I start VDR 1.7.1 I only get a black screen (OSD is working fine) and a message that it cannot tune to channel. Switch back to VDR 1.6 and the old driver solved the problem. Hi I have TELE 5 now on number 12 (moved with the VDR channel editor to this place). But if I try now to programm a timer in the following way: Menu - Program - red button I see on channel 609 TELE 5 and not 12 TELE5 The line in channel.conf is: TELE 5:12480:vC34:S19.2E:27500:1535:1536=deu:38:0:51:133:33:16387 What is wrong here? I updated to the new test firmware f42623 and the problem is solved. [vdr] Problem with aspect ratio after update
Hi, I updated these days my system from kernel 2.6.15.4 to 2.6.19 and now every movie on every program is now in 16:9 even the movies which had been 4:3 before. Is there something broken in the driver from the kernel or is it a problem with the firmware or VDR? I have VDR 1.4.4 running and 2xFF card (DVB-S). [vdr] VDR deletes directories
Hi, I have the problem that VDR deletes directories in my /video0 or /video1 ... which not belongs to VDR. I use vdrconvert to convert my VDR recordings to DVDs so I have a directory /video1/filme which VDR deletes and vdrconvert breaks. Is it possible to deny the delete of this directory? (vdr is running as root here) Best regards, Matthias -- Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots.
