RE: issues with uber update

2016-12-07 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Pablo,

Not sure why you are not getting better results. I just asked SIRI "What is my
current location and it told me I was at 3635 14th Avenue. I am in my house but
at the back of the house and my address is 3623 14th Avenue, 3635 is actually
my neighbour, but the property is 50 feet wide and I'm in the middle so from my
property to his it's only 25 or 30 feet.

I then opened Blindsquare and selected te "My Location". Blind Square told me
correctly I was at 3623 14th Avenue. When I checked the GPS Info page I am
getting accuracy of 5 metres and that is as I am in the bedroom inside my
single family home.
Blind Square is giving me my elevation as 500 metres which converts to 1,640
feet and that is pretty much dead on. I know for a fact that our local airport
which is about 3 or 4 miles away as the crow flies is 522 metres or 1,712 feet.
When you drive there it isn't much of an elevation difference, but you go up a
very slight hill going out of town so I think the difference of about 80 feet
is about right.

Anyhow, just my obsrvations, whenever I use Blind Square or Seeing Eye which
give you GPS accuracy it rarely is more than 10 metres off and very often it is
5 metres.

Regards,
Sieghard

Activating an item in the Apple TV 4 Rotor

2016-12-07 Thread Merv Keck
Hi,

This morning my Apple TV 4 started randomly raising and lowering voiceover
volume when navigating on the home screen and in app menus. Streaming volume
is fine. It is just voiceover that goes up and down seemingly at will. I am
not using a sound bar. Just the HDMI on the TV.

I did a little investigating in settings and found out there was a rotor on
the Apple TV. So I put Audio Ducking into the rotor to see if that might fix
the issue. However, when I swipe up or down as I would on my iPhone, it
navigates through menus or apps but does not change whatever is in the
rotor.

Is there something else I need to do after dialing up something like audio
Ducking in the rotor to turn it on or off?

Thanks in advance,

Merv

OK so the plastic is not usable with the dots. The dots will work covering the
screen as long as the glass is covering the screen first. I figure we probably
need something because I don’t think the dots, themselves, have a screen
protector, do they?

You definitely want to get rid of the Otterbox dEfender screen cover and I
would use either the screen protector with the dots or the glass
screenprotector without the dots, but somehow I don't think trying to double
them up would work as well nor would it be necessary. If you still want to do
this you definitely can't put the glass screenprotector on top of the tactile
screen protector. First of all I doubt it would hold very good and secondly it
would defeat the purpose of the dots which you probably wouldn't feel through
the glass screen protector or if you do then not very well.

Subject: question about using Speed Dots with an Otterbox case on an iPad Air II

All, the question is:

We bought the SpeedDots for the iPad Air II and an Otterbox Defender case. In
order to use them together, do we have to remove and not use the plastic screen
protector part that comes with the Otterbox case?

If we can use the dots with the plastic screen protector, do we add the dots to
the iPad with the plastic part already covering the screen or cover it with the
plastic piece after the dots are on?

As an aside, the iPad came with a glass screen protector; if we wanted to
consider using it, I know we couldn’t use the plastic from the Otterbox case
and the glass protector at the same time. In that instance, would we cover the
screen with the glass and then the dots or the dots and then the glass?

Hope that makes sense; thanks for replies.

unable to get iheart radio for apple tv 4 to work

2016-12-07 Thread Larry Lumpkin
I got the activation code the iheart app sent me into the activation screen
on the computer and the app now says my device is activated as guest. Then
I can go no further. The screen has no controls or no way out. Am I
missing something? Any ideas?

After the driver accepts a trip request, you can double-tap "contact driver".
Then you can either call the driver or send a text message.

RE: issues with uber update

2016-12-07 Thread Jeremy Gilley
I highly doubt we will see driverless cars out in the public as a every day
normal thing for a while yet lol.
I myself use UBER constently and have had no problems with it.
I also have had to make comments about certain drivers as well with no
problems.

Re: issues with uber update

Hi, Scott. It is possible you have your original login under an email
address. As far as the app over all, I have had issues for a couple of
months with submitting comments with a four star rating or less. There
is no button to submit the comment. I only find this button available
if I give five-star rating.
There are similar problems with submitting complaints to support within the app.

Well, if I can't see it it could be 10 feet away and it is the same issue. If I
am somewhere and order a cab I usually tell dispatch that I am visually
impaired and have a guide dog and to please let the driver know they may need

This wouldn't be an issue for sighted folks, but if the vehicle is 100 feet

I can't speak for the Uber app or the service as it is only available in a few
cities in Canada, but as far as GPS goes it should be accurate enough for this
purpose. Provided you have a good view of the sky and aren't in a building or a
super-narrow area surrounded by high-rise buildings GPS accuracy should be 5
meters (about 16 feet) or for sure it should be 10 metres (about 32 feet). This
mya not be good enough to find an exact spot, but good enough for most uses.

RE: Philips Hue Lights - first impressions

I'm glad to hear it's going well. Just a word of warning that if you do you
have any problems, which I did further down the line, do not do a factory reset
by pushing the button on the bridge as this has caused me significant problems
and I still don't have my lights working. I've tried numerous fixes and
cannot get my phone to connect to the bridge at all. It recognises it when the
app searches for the bridge but pressing the button on the bridge has no
effect. I'm also told that after doing a factory reset, you have to manually
input the codes for all of your bulbs which means I'm going to have to ask
someone cited to do that and it's going to take awhile. So far, Phillips
haven't been too helpful. Peter Sent from my iPhone

Hi,

Thought I post a few thoughts about the Philips Hue lights I recently
purchased. To start out with I can say that both my wife and I are very
impressed and happy with how this system works. I am the sort of guy who likes
to read as few instructions as possible when it comes to setting up these type
of gadgets. When I received the stuff I put in all the light bulbs and then
connected the bridge and downloaded the app. As soon as I opened it I was
guided through the setup quite nicely, but hit a bit of a snag when I was told
that in order to set up Home Kit integration I had to either scan an 8-digit
“Home Kit Code” or enter it manually. The app said the code was in the
packaging or on the accessory. I asked my wife to look and she did see it on
the bottom of the bridge and also I think in the little booklet that came in
the box, but for some reason it wouldn’t scan and since it’s only 8 digits I
just quickly entered it manually.
What I thought wasn’t explained too well was how to set up the individual
lights and rooms, it’s fairly intuitive, but the app said to make sure all
lights were turned on which means to make sure the actual wall switch was on so
they have power because of course if a light is turned off at the wall switch
it is not available to be controlled and the idea is to leave the wall switches
on and to turn on the lights either by telling SIRI to turn them off or you can
very easily use the Home app to do this and once Home integration is set up
there actually is a third page when you pull up the control centre which can
show up to 9 accessories and you can turn lights on or off simply by tapping on
the light you want to control and it turns on or off, if you swipe down or up
(rotor action) you get a “Show More Controls” and this opens up a screen where
you have a slider where you can flick up and down and control the brightness,
from 100% all the way down to I think 2%.
Anyhow, back to the setup. When I turned on all the lights they all showed up
with the name of the bulb model, e.g. Philips Hue White” or “Philips Hue
Ambient White” etc. The problem was that I have 6 of the ambient white and 3 of
the just white and I had no way to figure out which light was where. I then
decided to turn off all lights with their wall switch and only leave on, for
example, the hallway light where I happen to have just one of the 3 white
bulbs. Once Idid this all lights shows as offline except for this one and I
then went ahead and renamed it “Hallway”. Then I turned on the light at my
front door/entry way. Here are two white bulbs and I didn’t really care which
one was which and I just called them Front Door 1 and Front Door 2. Then I did
the Kitchen where I have a lamp over the dining table, a 3-bulb fixture in the
middle and a 2-bulb fixture over the sink area. I only had enough bulbs to put
in one over the sink and 2 in the middle and by using the same method as before
I named them Dining table, Kitchen 1 and Kitchen 2 and Kitchen Sink 1. Lastly I
did the bedroom where I have 1 bulb in the ceiling fixture and 1 in my wife’s
bedsight lamp, I called them Bedroom Ceiling and Jackie’s Lamp.
Once that was done I was easily able to group, for example Front Door 1 and
Front Door 2 into a room I called “Front Door”, similarly I grouped Kitchen 1
and Kitchen 2 together as “Kitchen”.
Interestingly enough I looked all over the place in the Philips Hue app and
could not really find any place where you can turn the lights on or off. I
think the app is primarily for setup, you can setup your rooms, SIRI voice
control, create scenes (or pick from existing ones) and so on. I haven’t played
around with the scenes a lot yet, but they are things like “Bright”, “Read”,
“Nightlight”, “Energize” etc. If you have ambient white bulbs you get things
like “Tropical

Looking for Voice Recording Software

2016-12-07 Thread Dani Pagador
Hi, Everyone.
I have ClearRecord on my iPodTouch, but it won't let me record with
it. I think the app crashes.

Is there another alternative I can use? I want to be able to capture
my nieces and their parents. I'm on a trip to Seattle and want to use
the sound bites as ring tones for my parents' phones. The kids are
three and one, and I know my parents would love to have them close,
even if it's in a sound bite.

Thanks,
Dani

Hey Don,

The timing on the traffic lights is one of my goals as well, is not that
difficult to implement it but it will take more than one man to do it, so
far i'm the only one working on this new idea.

If you guys can share it i'm sure it will help me to get there faster and
help you after.

2016-12-07 Thread Woody Anna Dresner
Hello,

Be sure to turn off single-letter Quick Nav as well, which is Q-chord plus dot
7. Then the letter commands will work correctly.

Best,
Anna

This wouldn't be an issue for sighted folks, but if the vehicle is 100 feet

I can't speak for the Uber app or the service as it is only available in a
few cities in Canada, but as far as GPS goes it should be accurate enough
for this purpose. Provided you have a good view of the sky and aren't in a
building or a super-narrow area surrounded by high-rise buildings GPS
accuracy should be 5 meters (about 16 feet) or for sure it should be 10
metres (about 32 feet). This mya not be good enough to find an exact spot,
but good enough for most uses.

I have been getting difficulties with uber since more than one month ago.
Before I was able to select my pick up in a list of choices, now I have to
find where I am. The current position doesn't work very well, because we
know that GPS are no so accurate. Moreover before I had more control on the
app, but in the last updates uber has done a lot of steps back.

Re: Philips Hue Lights - first impressions

2016-12-07 Thread pholdstock

Peter Sent from my iPhone

bluetooth earbud recommendations?

2016-12-07 Thread Shermeen Khan
Hello all,

With the recent addition of an infant to our family, my husband and I
are in the market for some Bluetooth ear buds (the kind that suction
into your ear, not the hard, round ones that typically come in the
IPhone box), as a wireless option would be best and not easy to grab
onto with tiny fingers. Any suggestions for ones with decent sound
quality and that are easy to use?

Thanks so much in advance,

Shermeen

Hi Tim,

I was going to send you a link to the app, but I got a message saying it's not
available to share. It was quite expensive; I'll bet not enough people bought
it. It's a shame, though, as an app like that is needed.

Re: how to make webpage favorite and how to access the favorite

2016-12-07 Thread Kimber Gardner
Hi Reggie,

When you have the page up on your device, along the bottom of the
screen you will find a series of buttons. Double tap the button that
says "share." You will be presented with a number of options for what
you want to do, one is add to favorites and there's another that says
add to bookmarks. I'm not clear on what the difference is between
favorites and bookmarks but if you double tap the add to bookmarks
option, you end up on a screen that shows the name that will be added.
You can change that or leave it the way it is. There will be a save
button in the upper right corner. Double tap it and voila! You are
done.

Re: Braille to speech apps?

2016-12-07 Thread Woody Anna Dresner
Hi Tim,

There is only one app that can read braille files aloud, as far as I know. It's
called Voice Braille Reader.

Best,
Anna

Braille to speech apps?

2016-12-07 Thread Timothy Emmons

Sent from my iPhoneGuys, I have a curious question. Since I'm reading more with
my phone, I'm looking to find an app that will translate braille to speech,
like voicedream, but for braille files or documents. I dont Voicedream will
translate them, not sure if read2Go would either, but looking for something on
the iPhone that will translate braille to text so something like Voicedream
will read them. Thanks for any help you can give. Take care and talk soon.

Re: An Accessible App for reading PDF files

2016-12-07 Thread Wayne Merritt
Perhaps Microsoft Word or Pages from Apple. Both of these are free
word processors. How accessible they are for editing PDF files though
may be another question. If you have a 64 gig device, then you should
have gotten Pages when you first got your device. If you don't have
it, then go to the App Store and you can download again or search for
it.

Good luck,
Wayne

how to make webpage favorite and how to access the favorite

2016-12-07 Thread regina alvarado
Can someone here please give a step-by-step on how to make a favorite on Safari
and then where to find the favorite? I have never totally figured it out,
believe it or not, but now I need a quick and sure way to immediately get to a
certain site and not have to put in address bar each time. No, I am not an avid
user of internet. Sorrry, this is basic, but I truly have no idea of the steps.
Thanks so much for the tutorial.

RE: How can I make folders for photos, and label photos

2016-12-07 Thread Daniel L. Gervais
Hello,

You can actually label a picture in your Photos app by performing the
two-finger double tap and hold. This is the same gesture when re-labelling a
button in an app.

The only thing is that you will need to use either TapTapSee or iDentifi to get
some information on the photo, or perhaps ask a sighted family member for a
description. Then you open the Photos app, find the picture you wish to
relabel, bring VoiceOver focus on the picture and then perform the gesture.
When the edit box opens up, then type the description you want then press save.

Do keep in mind that this description will only work with pictures in your
camera roll. If you copy over this image off of your phone onto your computer,
drop box or anywhere else, the description does not folow.

I had backed up my photos onto Drop Box when I needed to format my iPhone and
when I copied them back into my camera roll, I no longer had any description.

It is the same when opening a picture from your camera roll from another app,
you might not always get the description. For example, if you are in Facebook
and want to upload a picture from your camera roll, when navigating the
picture, VoiceOver will only read out the date the picture was taken.

Hope this helps.

Subject:RE: How can I make folders for photos, and label photos

I don't know of any really good way to do this with iOS.
There are various apps like Photo Voice which let you attach an audio label to
a photo, but basically they convert the picture into a small video file which
includes your spoken label, but I never found them intuitive to use.
If you allow the camera app to use your location it will at least tell you the
place where the pictures were taken which helps some. You can, of course, use
iDentifi to import a picture and get a description which often is quite good,
but of course that is slow and not something to do if you want to show somebody
a particular picture. Also, in iOS 10 iOS tries to provide a brief description
where possible, I have pictures of my dog which are identified as "Yellow Lab"
although my wife took a short video of him playing in a pond and Voiceover says
it's a bear. In short, there is no really good solution unless you want to put
the pictures onto a PC, group them in descriptive folders and then re-upload
them to your iPhone as albums, but you would have to use iTunes for this and I
am not sure how accessible this is currently.
Another option is to get sighted help and make albums with descriptive names
and then to put the pictures in your camera roll into these albums which still
doesn't label the individual pictures, but it at least groups them better.
Renaming pictures is just not possible natively in iOS.

Sieghard

Hello everyone,

If this topic has already been covered, then I do apologize for bringing it up
again.

Anyway, I would like to put certain photos in to certain folders.

Are there any accessible Apps out there, that would let me do this. I
don't mind paying a small fee for 1, as long as it is quite accessible.

Also, is there a way to label my photos?

I am adding more, and more photos to my Iphone, and I never expected
this to happen. Of course, people send them to me, or take them for me.

But I want to label them, because I am tired of having to ask people
what certain photos are, repeatedly. It's annoying!

Quite a while back, someone on this list told me about an App called,
documents, or something like that. You were supposed to be able to do
different things with it. Which included making folders, and labeling
photos. But I don't know how it works.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Re: Stopping Payment on a Subscription

2016-12-07 Thread Gary
This is not obvious at all, but here’s what you have to do. Go into settings
in iTunes and App store and double tap on your Apple ID, then on the View Apple
ID button. After siting in, you will see a subscription link, press on it and
you will see your TuneIn subscription. You can cancel it here.

Hi Terry,

YOu can read text-based PDFs in iBooks and Voice Dream Reader. KNFB Reader can
scan image-based PDFs. I don't know of an accessible app for editing PDFS,
though.

RE: Stopping Payment on a Subscription

Go to the app store and select view your account. After you sign in I think
you look under accounts. You should see subscriptions. There will bea a list
of all of your subscriptions, You should be able to cancel any subscription

Subject: Stopping Payment on a Subscription

Hello everyone,

I want to terminate my subscription with Tune-In. I think the cost of it
is about 7, or 8 dollars. I don't remember at the moment.

Anyway, I can never remember where to go to stop paying for a
subscription. I do know for some things, I would go in to my Apple
account. I know this, because I am subscribed to a few things, and I get
receipts from Apple..

But how do you know where to go for what service?

How could I keep track of things like this?

And as for Tune-In, do I go to their website, or through Apple?

Thank you,

Terri

How can I make folders for photos, and label photos

2016-12-07 Thread Terri Stimmel
Hello everyone,

If this topic has already been covered, then I do apologize for bringing
it up again.

Thank you,

Terri

RE: issues with uber update

2016-12-07 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
I can't speak for the Uber app or the service as it is only available in a few
cities in Canada, but as far as GPS goes it should be accurate enough for this
purpose. Provided you have a good view of the sky and aren't in a building or a
super-narrow area surrounded by high-rise buildings GPS accuracy should be 5
meters (about 16 feet) or for sure it should be 10 metres (about 32 feet). This
mya not be good enough to find an exact spot, but good enough for most uses.

Sieghard

I have been getting difficulties with uber since more than one month ago.
Before I was able to select my pick up in a list of choices, now I have to find
where I am. The current position doesn't work very well, because we know that
GPS are no so accurate. Moreover before I had more control on the app, but in
the last updates uber has done a lot of steps back.

now. So I would recommend deleting and reinstalling it. It logged in fine for

RE: Apple watch and charging

2016-12-07 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Jim, the charger is slightly concave and the back of the watch is slightly
convex and as you figured out the watch attaches magnetically to the charger.
If the charger is plugged in to either a USB port on the computer or a wall
outlet adapter and you stick the watch on the charger then you will hear a ding
sound about a second or two later indicating the watch is charging. Also, if
you go into the control panel by swiping up with two fingers on the watch
screen and then double tap on the battery percentage it will say that it is
charging.

Sieghard

OK so the plastic is not usable with the dots. The dots will work covering the
screen as long as the glass is covering the screen first. I figure we probably
need something because I don’t think the dots, themselves, have a screen
protector, do they?

Thanks.

Re: A Question About Spam Calendar Event Invitations

2016-12-07 Thread Daniel L. Gervais
I unfortunately did press on the "Decline" button and now wished I hadn't. I
haven't had any increase in spam mail or anything, and I only had spam calendar
events for about 3 to 4 days, then they stopped altogether.

I heard that you could go to iCloud.com, sign in and change the setting to
receive calendar invites as e-mails instead of in-app notifications, but when
trying to use the website, could not find the settings button and gave up.

I never thought of using my Windows machine as I to have the iCloud for Windows
installed.

Hopefully nothing bad will happen from my stupidly declining these events and
letting these spammers find out my e-mail.

Thanks for the tip!

Yes, I received a similar one this week. I did what you did! I simply went
to my PC and deleted it for ever and ever and ever! I haven't checked whether
it got to my calendar yet, so I must do this. I can't even remember what it was
now. I know that I recognise it though if I find it! :-)

  Hello Everyone,

Just so you know, I am cross-posting this email.

Earlier today, I received a calendar sales event invitation from an unknown
sender. Upon opening the invitation from within my iOS Calendar app, it was
clear that this was a spammer as I could see the list of invitees all of
which were just variations on a theme, for example b...@icloud.com,
  b...@icloud.com, etc.

The event invitation was promoting a weekend sale for sunglasses and the
like. As a result, the event appeared across three different days,
corresponding to the length of the event/sale; extremely annoying, to say
  the least.

The only buttons I could find upon which to act was either Accept button,
the maybe button, and the decline button.

I did not want to activate any of these buttons as doing so would send a
response to the sender, confirming the existence of my account.

Try as I may, I could not discover anyway to simply delete the event
invitation, itself, or the corresponding events from my Calendar, in iOS.

Just so you know, When I activated the button that linked to the sender,
whose account/email address consisted of Chinese characters, all I could do
was to either add the sender to my Contacts List, share my location, etc.
There was no option to block the sender nor anyway to report the event
  invitation as spam.

Believe it or not, the most annoying thing, however, was not that the event
was added to my Calendar, for the duration of the event, it was that it
showed as an event to which I needed to reply. This means that the number 1
was constantly displayed on the Calendar's badge-app, icon.

I called Apple Care but, after waiting on hold for what seemed like an
interminable length of time, I decided to go it alone.

At first, I thought about firing up my Mac and seeing if I could discover a
way to delete the event from there. However, to be honest, my luck with the
Mac OS Calendar application, has never been spectacular. Add to that, the
fact that I was extremely angry at Apple for not providing some way to
delete an event invitation without having to select an option that would
alert the sender that any action on my part, had taken place.

  My solution?

I simply fired up a Windows 7 PC that has the iCloud Control Panel for
Windows installed, launched Microsoft Outlook 2007, located the offending
invitation, and hit the delete key on the keyboard. Not including booting
up the PC and launching Outlook, the deletion process took less than 10
  seconds.

When next I looked at my iOS Calendar, the invitation, along with its
corresponding footprint, had been deleted, as expected.

Question: Have any of you encountered spam Calendar event invitations? If
so, how did you handle it? Were you able to delete the invitation without
activating the Accept, Maybe, or Decline buttons?

The only thing I wish I had attempted, before resorting to my beloved
Windows PC, was to have explored the iCloud.com website to see if, perhaps
there may have been a delete button somewhere that would have accomplished
  my goal.

I look forward to your replies,

  Mark

Re: New app for finding traffic lights

2016-12-07 Thread Don Breda
I think in somewhat rural areas this is a good idea especially where
there are no sidewalks or curb cuts.

I however live in New York city where it is perfectly obvious where the
traffic lights are.

I do think however there is a way to tell the state of the traffic light
and I would encourage you to investigate this possibility.

Knowing for sure if there is a walk or don't walk signal or if the light
is red or green, would be great.

Usually you can tell from the traffic paterns but when the traffic is
grid locked it gets really difficult.

Knowing how much time is left on the clock durring a walk cycle would
also be a real help.

Since the traffic lights are computer controled this information is
probagbly abled to be monitored in some way.

Thanks for considering this.

RE: OverDrive Help

2016-12-07 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Richard,

After receiving your post, I downloaded several e-books from Over Drive and
attempted to read them via VoiceOver and via my Braille display.

For a host of reasons, including display bleed-through, it is my opinion that,
at this time, while the iOS version of Over Drive is accessible for use with
audio books, it is not VoiceOver accessible for use with e-books, in terms of
convenient page navigation. This is to say, while the actual text of a page
can be read via VoiceOver, the page/e-book navigation controls, for all intent
and purposes, are inaccessible.

mark, I am using brialle display. I would like to use over drive as if I choose
to find books. so far, if I find sue grafton book such as w is for wasted which
is the name of title she wrote, can I find page number in braille display

reason is that bookshare.org doesn't have page numbers for this book, and it
has chapters. that is wonderful. but the problem is if I am reading the
chapter, and when I go through in middle or three-fourth of chapter, then phone
rings or doorbell rings I have to leave it and go over to answer phone or door.
it would take time and come back, the iphone is off and I would turn it back on
and I don't know where I am at where I leave. I would use advance button and
keep hittingseveral times without knowing which page is and even not knowing
where to find where I leave off. it would be wise to locate page number and
then it would be easier to save time and cut down stress looking as bookmark is
not very helpful.

if over drive do provide page numbers, then it would be great deal to be hepful
and it would cut down tensions and then can enjoy finishing the book.
thank you!

sincerely,
rich

Hello,

With regard to Over Drive:

The simple answer to your question is, "Yes." There is a way to change the
location in an audio book by other than the 15-second buttons and the section
heading buttons.

However, it kind of depends upon how much useable vision, if any, you possess.

If you can locate the scrub bar, located just above the controls, described
above, you can single-finger, double-tap and hold while moving your finger in
order to fast-forward or rewind through the title.

As implied, while this feature can be engaged with VoiceOver enabled, actually
locating the scrub bar can be a bit of a challenge. So much so that I usually
don't bother to use it. I find that jumping by section headings is good enough
for me.

matter. I downloaded the new RS Games app onto my IPhone 6s and am having a
couple issues that I’m wondering if it is just me. Firstly, whenever I send a
chat message the background music goes away. Secondly, the speech will go away
in the middle of a game and I will have to dump the game and go back in. This
happens quite often. I tried unloading voiceover and just use the built in
speech but does the same thing. This happens with both the Alex voice and any
of the others. Is anyone else finding these bugs as well?
