Re: Facebook apps

2013-01-28 Thread Tj Squires
Hi,

I'm looking for an accessible way to manage facebook friends lists. I
posted about it earlier but no word back yet. Does anyone know if any
of these menchened apps has that ability?

I would use the facebook app itself, but the latest version makes that
harder, and the help leads me to the button that allows me to block
someone. or unfriend them. This makes posting to spacific people
quite impossible lol. And I don't want some people to see some posts,
and I want others to see others.

Any idaas of a simple, uncluttered app that I can post, read and comment on

 Thanks!

Okay, I have an iPhone and I haven't seen the iPod you have so I hope
this helps.

When in the app switcher on the iphone, you double tap and hold on
any application in there. You'll hear a sound effect, kind of
ascending tones, and it should say editing apps. Then you double
tap any application to remove it from the app switcher; it may
say double tap to delete but don't worry; it isn't really deleting
the app. When you've deleted the ones you want to delete, you
can either double tap dismiss app switcher or you can press home
which takes you to the normal mode of the app switcher where you
open apps; another press of home takes you back to the home screen. I
would think it would be similar on your ipod.

Facebook Friend Lists

2013-01-09 Thread Tj Squires

Hi all,

I posted this on applevis last night, however, I don't think people
regularly check the forum, or, I'm impatient, so I'll come here!

I used to be able to at least edit if not create friends lists through
the facebook app previously, however, I can no longer do so. I did RTFM
on facebook's app itself, and the instructions it gives me used to, but
don't, work anymore. For those that don't know, it tells you to click
on a friend's profile, click the friend or friends button, I'm not sure
which it was, and select the list you would like them to be a part of.
This, however, no longer works. Clicking on the friend button asks if
you wish to unfriend said person, and the friends button shows their
friends and your mutual friends.

Is there a way I could edit my friends lists on my iPhone? At this
point, even another facebook client that would be able to do this would
be greatly welcome. I use them a lot, and, this functionality being
different/unusable for me at this time makes me hate facebook more than
I did already.

Re: Take a picture of Yourself

Hi,

You will indeed get face feedback with the back facing camera.

One thing I've also noticed is you must go into the camera app itself and
not the take picture button on the lock screen. I'm also really bad at
taking pictures with it, (the girlfriend says I'm not), so, it might just
have been me missing the mark all the time with the lock screen one.

In fact, i'd bet that's the case. :).
