Thanks Sieghard, You have resolved the mystery. It never occurred to me to turn off photos in iCloud. Thanks again man. Yes, this is what I do in order to subscribe to NOW TV on my Apple TV 4th generation and it works like a charm. This is a UK only app, and is like any other live and on-demand subscription service. > On 28 Nov 2016, at 20:59, Kliphton Miller <kliph...@icloud.com> wrote: > > As others have stated, just go to the website and do so. the only way you > woulnd > t be able to change your appleID, is if you use an iCloud.com domain. As others have stated, just go to the website and do so. the only way you woulnd t be able to change your appleID, is if you use an iCloud.com <http://icloud.com/> domain. In this instence, you would have to start from scratch, or do what I do, just do family sharing with the old account, and share with your old appleID, and then you will have access to all of the old apps. Hello, No clues how, but you can just change the email address on appleID.apple.com somewhere which would mean you retain everything. Again, don't have any more details at the minute. Personally, I'd be very careful changing AppleID's! I lost some of my photos and notes. Be sure you have a way to back up! I noticed one of my movies gone too. Just consult with Apple and back up first! Egun On, Lagunak! Re: How can I change my apple ID without loosing my purchased items?
Yes, this is very important. I have changed my ID quite a while back. I forgot my password and then couldn’t remember how I answered the questions. I haven’t been able to update about 15 apps that I bought under that ID. Until I answer the questions the right way, I’ll never get back into that ID. Re: How can I change my apple ID without loosing my purchased items?
My father in law no longer uses the email address which he used to set up as his Apple ID. He found he could easily change the email address Apple uses to communicate with him, so he did that because he reckoned his app purchases are tied to the specified Apple ID not to the email address Apple happens to use to communicate with him. This works now for him. I have changed my apple Id several times, and I didn’t lose any app or product. You need to go to your account and there you will see how to change it.
