RE: What about purchasing from iTunes?

2017-05-25 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Terri,

When I open iTunes on my PC (I use Jaws as my screenreader) I press Control+F
to get to the search box, then tab a few times until I get to the Store radio
button. I check it and the store loads, I then press Control+F again and at
this point I can type in whichever artist I want to search for. After I do this
and press enter I wait a moment for the page to load, then I go to the top with
Control+Home and use the headings quick nav key which takes me to "Songs",
"Albums" Music Video" etc. If it's an album I am looking for I just arrow down
once I get to the albums heading and the albums for the artist I searched for
are displayed. There will be a price listed and when I pressed the spacebar on
that price it asked me to confirm my Apple Id in order to purchase the item. It
all seems very straight forward and it is certainly possible to buy items using
iTunes on a PC.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi Mich, and list,

Yes, I must have figured that it must have been a lot of trouble. Or not
possible.

However, I no longer have an iPhone, or a iPad.

I now have an Android phone. But you can't seem to purchase from the
Apple App offered there.

Oh wait, what am I thinking?

I have a Mac I got this past Christmas. I don't really know much about
it yet. Still attempting to learn how to use it. Slow process, but
enjoying it.

However, I bet I can purchase things that way, for sure!

Thank you,

Terri

this is why I buy absolutely no music from the itunes store. CD's
cost the same price or less and I can play the ripped MP3 files on any
device from any company. I can transfer them to an unlimited number
of devices in my lifetime and have no restrictions whatsoever. If I
switch from Apple, which I cannot imagine now, my music goes with me.

Re: Purchasing from Itunes

2012-12-15 Thread John Panarese
I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I read somewhere that
some people fail to understand or realize that Apple has to charge California
sales tax on to purchases. So, if you buy a track for $0.99, there will still
be tax included when you actually get the receipt. Again, I am not sure if
this is what she was talking about, but it just struck my memory.

 Patti,
I purchase from iTunes quite a bit and have had no problems.

Has anybody encountered any issues with purchasing from Itunes/Apple?
 Just curious. Thanks,

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I read somewhere
that some people fail to understand or realize that Apple has to charge
California sales tax on to purchases. So, if you buy a track for $0.99,
there will still be tax included when you actually get the receipt. Again,
I am not sure if this is what she was talking about, but it just struck my
memory.

Re: Purchasing from Itunes

2012-12-15 Thread Chris H
Not really however on my account at least I do have a limit in how much
I can buy in terms of gift certificates. I eventually get a message
stating this would exceed the maximum purchase for this certificate,
something like that. The funny thing is this limit is reset monthly.
Anyone know exactly what this limit is in at least British Pounds?
Otherwise I'm having no problems so far but I will certainly watch out
for any disgrepancies, excuse spelling.
