I have to second you on the sound at the Pyramid stage, it was
incredible.. i got trapped in it's sonic boom for hours listening to

I agree, it's pretty hard to find real deep house in Sydney. It may pop up
once in a while at a one off party or on the radio, but mostly it's pretty
weak off-shoots.
After spending the weekend down in Melbourne, it's definately a great place
to hear deep house... and I gotta say Angela Maison
It's amazing people would still fork out this kind of money for a 909,
especially with the amount of sample CD's/Soft Synths/Drum Machines that are
out now. You could buy an MPC 2000XL for that sorta money!
Anyhoo, each to their own I guess.

Broughton from the djhistory.com site.
Have only got a little way though, but it's been pretty entertaining
so far, especially some of the Disco pioneers have some great stories.
