Hi. we have this error too. we have in our tape-san tsm server at hp-ux and window 2000 in different network-segments. ibm say it is a problem in the network parameter. but we don´t find anythink and i don´t believe that we have network problems in two different networks in the same time.

Eric, A return code 2534 should be referenced in the TDP Oracle manual - probably as ANS2534. Anyways, 2534 is an options file error. However, there should have been created a file called tdpoerror.log. This file get created in the local directory (what ever happens to be local for Oracle). I

Neil, I love you! We found the tdpoerror.log in the directory you suggested, it indicated that TDP couldn't find the tdpo.opt file. This was caused by the fact that the Oracle account was missing read permission for that file... Duh! We changed the permissions and the backup is running now!
