Re: how to get traffic estimates for keywords for a single campaign?

2018-11-12 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

I'm afraid that there is no other service available that you could use in
conjunction with the TrafficEstimatorService to do a large jobs because the
BatchJobService

 does
not support it. Also, you may take note that there is a limit of 2,500
keyword estimates per request which is stated on our system limits guide

.

However, one of the simplest ways to recover from the RateExceededError is
to slow down your request. You could use the value of the
RateExceededError.retryAfterSeconds as the interval when retrying your
request again to further avoid the error. You may check this guide
 for
more information about the rate limits.

Hi,

thanks for the answer. Can we expect the behavior to continue or is it a
temporary thing? Also, should we expect other segments to be "blank" as
well?

Re: how to get traffic estimates for keywords for a single campaign?

2018-11-12 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

The TrafficEstimatorService

 does
not support date range. What this service does is provide estimates on
performances of your keywords or other AdWords entities based on historical
data. The data returned by this service is an estimate on a daily basis via
the StatsEstimate

 such
as the clicksPerDay

 field
or impressionsPerDay

 field.

Also, you should take note that the returned values are estimates, and are
not a guarantee that actual performance will be within these bounds.

Luis

Re: Create Awords Account

2018-11-12 Thread richard . scorer
Hi Luis,

I am receiving the same error when trying to create 3 different
sub-accounts, and they have each apparently been created successfully, yet
I get this error. I currently have 3 copies of each sub-account, each with
no campaigns.

I then manually attempted to cancel some of the accounts and was informed
there was an error and I should try later.

[Google Ads API Beta] Proto definitions for latest releases

2018-11-12 Thread Menno
Hi,

The proto definitions for the Google Ads API at
https://github.com/googleapis/googleapis/tree/master/google/ads/googleads
are not updated in the last 4 months.
Releases 0.3.0, 0.4.0 and 0.5.0 are missing. Can you update the proto
definitions at GitHub, and add this to the release process for upcoming
releases?

Thanks,
Menno

Re: Ad Customizer API - No impressions

2018-11-12 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Zach,

So I can better assist you, could you provide to me your clientCustomerId
and the SOAP request and response logs when you created your ad customizers
via the AdWords API?

Additionally, could you also send to me the AdWords UI screenshot of the
said ad customizers/creatives which did not generate any impressions? You
may send the requested information via the *Reply privately to author*
 option.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Timezone of HourOfDay field in reports

2018-11-12 Thread Vojtěch Udržal
Hi guys, in what timezone is the HourOfDay in reports? Is its value related
to AccountTimeZone field, which does not respect DST (so for LA it's always
GMT-8 and when LA is not using GMT-8 part of the year, I must shift it by
an hour - convert to GMT-7), or is it related to timezone set on customer
account (in our case America/Los_Angeles) and thus respects DST and no
further adjustment is necessary? It's not clear from the docs which way it
is.

Thanks a lot!

2018-11-12 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Vojtěch,

The HourOfDay

 field in
the reports is related to the timezone set on the customer account itself
and DST should already be applied accordingly. I hope this helps.

How to set TrackingUrlTemplate?

If you be so kind and give me a sample of php code how to do mutate() on

I don't know what customers fields are required for mutate().
I have read almost every guide and code sample on you dev site. But can't

Figure out if a conversion is shared or not

2018-11-12 Thread erik . lilja
I recently stumbled upon an article that describes how a conversion can be
shared between multiple accounts
.

Given that I have a conversion ID from the reporting service, is it
possible to check whether it's a shared conversion or if it belongs to the
account?

I've used the ConversionTrackerService to request all conversions for a
given account. This is the response I get for one conversion I know is
shared:

(UploadConversion){
 id = (Censored ID)
 name = "Offline Visit Revenue"
 status = "ENABLED"
 category = "DEFAULT"
 viewthroughLookbackWindow = 1
 ctcLookbackWindow = 90
 countingType = "MANY_PER_CLICK"
 defaultRevenueValue = 0.0
 defaultRevenueCurrencyCode = "USD"
 alwaysUseDefaultRevenueValue = False
 excludeFromBidding = True
 attributionModelType = "LAST_CLICK"
 ConversionTracker.Type = "UploadConversion"
 isExternallyAttributed = False
  },

If you're interested I can send you the account ID and conversion ID. Not
sure if I should send them in the public forum.

Any updates on this one? This seems to me still not available in latest
release. HeadlinePart3 is still missing from fields
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/selectorfields#v201809-AdGroupAdService

and adding it to fields throwing an error:
INVALID_FIELD_NAME

Thanks.

Figure out if a conversion is created on an MCC level

2018-11-12 Thread erik . lilja
Is it possible to find out if a conversion is created on an MCC level by
looking at the conversion ID?

I have a conversion which might be created on an MCC level, which I believe
stems from this .
I sent a query to the ConversionTrackerService that listed the conversion
for a given ad account and found the following:

(UploadConversion){
 id = Censored
 name = "Offline Visit Revenue"
 status = "ENABLED"
 category = "DEFAULT"
 viewthroughLookbackWindow = 1
 ctcLookbackWindow = 90
 countingType = "MANY_PER_CLICK"
 defaultRevenueValue = 0.0
 defaultRevenueCurrencyCode = "USD"
 alwaysUseDefaultRevenueValue = False
 excludeFromBidding = True
 attributionModelType = "LAST_CLICK"
 ConversionTracker.Type = "UploadConversion"
 isExternallyAttributed = False
  }

I can't see anything obvious that could point out if it's account specific
or cross-account. Could you assist me?

The ID can be given in a private message if so desired.

Re: Empty value for "Device" field in report response

2018-11-12 Thread Igor Schut
We have the same issues and found out these are from ConnectedTV platform.
This is not documented but you can find this in the response if you
download this as objects.

Interested in what Google has to say for this new implementation, which is
not documented anywhere.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Igor

Bulk Request for CRMUserBasedList

2018-11-12 Thread Mahadevan Krishnan
Hi Team,

I am planning to use CRMUserBasedList to upload the custom audience to the
Adwords for Remarketing. I have multiple files of Mobile Advertising ID's
and number of records in each file will easily run to few 300k's. Is there
a bulk upload feature available through API where I can send the file
directly? All I found so far was creating mutate request of Add Operation
and construct a list and send to Adwords

Regards,
Dev

Include external Data into Google Ads

2018-11-12 Thread maria . kaufmann
Hi all,

for a client we would like to include external information into Google ads,
specifically the approval quote of credit requests. We would like to
include the approval quote on keyword, ad group and campaign levels. How do
we do it by using the API?

Best regards,

Geo Performance Report, Video quartile metrics

2018-11-12 Thread matthieu
Hi,

I noticed Geo Performance Report is one of the few report types that
doesn't support videoquartile metrics.
Is this something that can be expected to be implemented in the future, or
is this most likely never going to happen due to some technical challenges?

Re: How to block more than 500 IPs

2018-11-12 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Ryosuke,

My apologies as it seems that you're correct that there is a limit of 500
IP addresses per campaign as you can see here

under
"Excluded IP blocks per campaign.". Currently, there is no workaround for
this because the API has the same behavior with the UI. Kindly follow the
blog  for
future updates.

Let me know if you have further clarifications.

 Hi Ryosuke,

 Yes, you should be able to block 500 ip addresses. You may use
 CampaignCriterionService.mutate()

  and
 set the criterion of NegativeCampaignCriterion

  object
 to IpBlock
 .

 Please refer to this code block

 *Note*: We are running an annual developer feedback survey. Please take

Ad Customizer API - No impressions

2018-11-12 Thread Zach Zelmar
Hello,

Our Ad Customizers uploaded through the API have zero impressions.

The cause is related to our API use, not our strategy. On other accounts,
we use file upload of ad customizers, with the same strategy, and they
receive impressions.

In the AdWords UI, everything looks correct:
* The ad customizers are Approved
* The creatives using the ad customizers are Approved
* The ad customizers list the Campaign and Ad Group names
* The creative preview correctly replaces the ad customizers with the
proper values
* The names of deleted feeds do not match the names of the active feed

But neither ad customizers nor associated creatives show a single
impression.

Perhaps a hidden field is missing or incorrect. Can you help check the
account?

Please contact me for account-specific details.

Thank you,
Zach

Our Ad Customizers uploaded through the API have zero impressions.

The cause is related to our API use, not our strategy. On other accounts,
we use file upload of ad customizers, with the same strategy, and they
receive impressions.

In the AdWords UI, everything looks correct.
* The ad customizers are Approved
* The creatives using the ad customizers are Approved
* The ad customizers list the Campaign and Ad Group names
* The creative preview correctly replaces the ad customizers with the
proper values
* The names of deleted feeds do not match the names of the active feed

But neither ad customizers nor associated creatives show a single
impression.

Perhaps some hidden property is missing or incorrect. Can you help check
the account?

Please contact me for account-specific details.

Thank you,
Zach

Uploading Offline Coversions - import log?

2018-11-12 Thread Andy
Hi

When you upload offline conversion data using CSV, you can see the import
log, number of records etc.

Is there a place you can see a log of successful/failed uploads using the
API on the Adwords UI?

Thanks

The ConversionTrackerService will return the conversion trackers of the MCC

You may also use the CustomerService.getCustomers()

 which
will return the effectiveConversionTrackingId

Re: oauth over e-mail with redirect to create report

2018-11-12 Thread 'Teja Makani' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Dennis,

Please find my response below inline:

   1. How i get the redirect
   You could use the redirect as
   "https://developers.google.com/oauthplayground; while Authorizing the
   credentials form API console

page.

   2. How i got the refreshtoken and the clientCustomerId
   To get the refresh token you could follow the step-8 of this guide

and
   Exchange authorization code for tokens. The ClientCutomerId belongs to the
   targeting account, they could find it above to their email address
   mentioned as "Customer ID" on old UI and on new UI Click the help icon in
   the top right corner, they could find it under the bottom of the menu. They
   could also refer this guide

 to
   know how to locate customer ID on UI.

If your question is different please elaborate.

Sai Teja, AdWords API Team.

Re: Geo Performance Report, Video quartile metrics

2018-11-12 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Matthieu,

The VideoQuartile metrics information is currently not available using the
Geo Performance Report. The Geo Performance Report

 will
return the statistics aggregated at the country/territory level, one row
per country/territory. If you're looking to pull the VideoQuartile metrics,
you may use the Criteria Performance Report

 which
will return this information depending on the CriteriaType

 in
the selector. I have shared your feedback with the team. Please keep an eye
on our blog
for
more updates.

Thanks,
Bharani, AdWords API Team

Thanks for your answer. It looks from the docs, I should be able to add,
but first I need to Get existing Ads to merry this to our backend, and I
can't do it. Thanks.

Hello Maria,

Could you share us a screenshot from the Google Ads web interface or an
example for this use case, so I can check if it is possible to achieve this
through the API? You can share the details privately via Reply privately to
author option.

Thanks,

Re: how to get traffic estimates for keywords for a single campaign?

2018-11-12 Thread petrosdawit96
Hi Luis,

That makes a lot more sense now. Thank you. I just have one last question.
What would be the best way to make the calls to get all the keywords for
the campaigns. I'm currently am hitting traffic limits when I limit to just
1 adgroup id at a time and when I split the request further down to an x
amount of keywords per adgroup, I hit a rate limit. Is there a service I
can use in conjuction with the traffic estimate service to do it for large
jobs.

Re: Uploading Offline Coversions - import log?

Hi Andy,

You may try to check the Change History
 of your
account which is a tool that lists the changes you've made to your account

However, you may confirm this to the Advertiser's Community Forum
 as
the product experts are better equipped in answering your concerns.
