Re: Issue with Serve Status of campaign

2020-02-18 Thread Pradeep Datla
What we want to know is if a campaign is actually "serving" or if it is
stopped for some reason - as i have seen sometimes when account is
suspended or there are issues with billing, campaigns are in eligible state
- but in api i get servestatus as "serving". so i am not able to know if
the campaign is actually serving or if it is waiting for some user action

please let me know.

Issue with Serve Status of campaign

2020-02-17 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi,

After Creating a campaign if the ads get disapproved or account gets
suspended, the serve status of the campaign is stuck in "Eligible". But the
serve status through adwords api we are getting serve status as "Serving"
while google is actually not serving the ads.
This is causing an issue for us as in our application it actually shows as
the campaign is currently serving, but in reality it is still in "eligible"
status

How would i determine if a campaign is actually serving ads or not?

using (CampaignCriterionService campaignCriterionService =

{
// Create the selector.
Selector selector = new Selector()
{
fields = new string[]

predicates = new Predicate[]

Send Email when Campaign is changed (keywords, locations. etc.,)

2020-01-23 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi

I would like to send an email to customer when ever there is a status
change or any update to campaign keywords, locations or languages. Is there
a way i can know if a campaign was updated or the date campaign was updated
last so that i can keep track of the updated time and then send email. As
google does not provide webhooks for adwords, i am planning to write a
service to check the campaigns at a certain frequency and send emails to
users

Please let me know

Re: use AGE_RANGE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT to get Campaign level data

2020-01-22 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi Bryan,

campaign view is provided in google ads UI. we want to show this data to
users on a campaign level. Please refer to the screenshot of UI google has.
Coz if api does not provide data based on campaign view , is there way to
determine campaign level values from Adgroup level values. As i just cannot
sum up the values like Avg.CPC or CTR of individual ad groups to get
campaign level values

Please let me know how to i can determine the values for campaign if the
api does not provide it

Thank You,

Re: Traffic Estimation Service Data for Search campaign

2020-01-22 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi Mitchell,

We took your advice and now we are taking maxCPC and daily budget from the
user. But even after sending both maxCPC(in KeywordEstimateRequest) and
dailyBudget(in CampaignEstimateRequest), the clicks count i get from api
dont match with the one shown in keywordplanner forecast UI offered by
google. I have added the same parameter into api like presented in UI. The
only difference i see is the datarange selected which is not offered in API

I logged in with the same user credentials in UI as the accesstoken i am
passing in API. I followed all the steps from :
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/traffic-estimator-service
We are simulating for Proposed Campaign. so i am not passing any campaign
id or adgroup id
I have used the same exact keywords (Broad Match) , Location , Language And
Search Network , maxCPC and i matched the daily budget to the estimate
provided by UI. Still the results i got did not match with UI.

Please provide solution, what could be wrong.

Thank You,
Pradeep Datla.

2020-01-17 Thread Pradeep Datla

As i dont have maxCPC from the user , Can i average the avgCPC of the
keywords user selected from "TargetingIdeaService" and send it as maxCPC.*
Is this the right way to guess maxCPC value? *
also *please suggest* if there is any alternative to comeup with a maxCPC
value to get the traffic estimation

Traffic Estimation Service Data for Search campaign

2020-01-16 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi,

We are creating Search Campaign through API and using
"TargetingIdeaService" to get Keywords Ideas. Based on keywords selected by
the user and selected Campaign Budget we want to show the reach.

we dont have a maxCPC value from the user and we only take the budget per
day value. So when i am using "TrafficEstimatorService" the results i am
getting never match the values shown in Google UI(as i have to set maxCPC
to some number).

I dont think i have implemented "TrafficEstimatorService" wrong, as the api
results i get match the data shown in Google ads Keyword planner forecasts
tab(when i use the same maxCPC in both api and planner UI). My problem is
that the data does not match the Google Ads UI while creating Search Ad,
which is what we are trying to provide user through our system.

*Is there any other service or method i can use to get the right data?*

I have attached a screenshot of Google Ads UI to show the daily estimates i
am referring to.

Thank You,
Pradeep Datla.

TrafficEstimatorService issue with maxCPC

2019-12-01 Thread Pradeep Datla

Hi Support Team,

we are trying to implement TrafficEstimatorService to get Impressions per
day for the keywords added while creating a new campaign (Proposed
Campaign). We dont have maxCPC to be sent to this service while getting
keyword traffic. If i remove maxCPC property during api request it errors
out.

What is the solution for this? As per my understanding maxCPC is only
needed during manual bidding while we are planning to do automatic bidding
by providing a daily budget for the campaign. If i comment out the
following lines of code, the api errors out saying that the field is
mandatory.

LocationCriterionService mapping to maps

2019-11-25 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi,

We want to build a tool where customers can selected an area they want to
target in Google Maps, and we can send that location to Campaign as
location selected. The problem we are facing is that we are not able to
find a relation between the location selected in map to Location to be sent
while creating campaign. I have attached screenshots for better
understanding.
I see the same funcationality in Google Ads UI, but i am not able to figure
out how i can make customer select a location on Google maps and use that
data to be sent to campaign.

What i am trying to show in screenshots is there is no relation between the
location selected in map to adwords api. Am i missing some logic here?

2019-11-06 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi,

I came across in-progress campaigns in Google Ads UI - when creating smart
campaigns. can i create a Search campaign with incomplete data through API?
we are working on a product which has a multi step UI to successfully
create a campaign.

Thank You,

Sandbox or Sample Data for Campaign Performance

2019-11-06 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi

Is there a way to get sample performance data for campaigns for development
and testing. I want to get data like Clicks, Impressions, Avg CPC, cost,
search terms, gender, age, etc.,
The campaigns we create in Test account does not have any data and we are
looking for sample data for different scenarios.

Thank You,
Pradeep Datla.

How to Create Smart Campaign through API

2019-11-06 Thread Pradeep Datla
Hi,

I want to create a smart campaign (not Smart display campaign)which google
ads ui provides. I have attached a screenshot for clarity.

Is it possible to create a Smart Campaign using Google Adwords API or using
the latest beta api ?
