[amirc] Missing prefs-pages in OS4?

2004-08-05 Thread Daniel Westerberg
Why are there some missing pages in the prefs window when AmIRC is used in OS4? I've heard somewhere that Vapor rejects OS4 which I think is sad, but if this is some kind of conspiracy agains OS4 it's just quite lame... :) The missing pages when AmIRC is run under OS4 compared to OS3.9 is:

[amirc] Volume slider - how?

2004-01-03 Thread Daniel Westerberg
Hi! I was just wondering how the popup slider in Settings/Setup/Events are made. I have tried to make one such slider in one of my own MUI programs but didn't manage to get it quite right. Any ideas? Or will I get terminated from this list in true amiga-non-spam-or-off-topic-spirit because of

Hi! I have just set up a new loud sound for Notice that friend can use if they want me something and I'm currently not responding to the Any Message sound (due to high traffic or something). I have also since a long time had a different sound for DCC Request so that I will know when someone sends

Hello Morgan, The program that takes out my system is YAM - similar effects as you are getting with Amirc I have no problems with Amirc :-) With YAM, load it up and never shut it down - just iconify it. I get a crash from YAM once a year that way. I always have YAM iconified, everytime,

Hi there! Im a little puzzled by your continued problems with AmIRC - everything works absolutely fine here and I have to say that I find AmIRC the BEST IRC client there is, not just on the Amiga but any platform that I have used! I've attached a version list of my System:Libs dir and a

I'd love to see 'colored nicks' feature in AmIRC. Thats the only one I miss from X-Chat... Heres how it works: Every user has assigned its color from predefined palette based on hash/crc of his host. That way you can easily recognize who said what and see hows conversation going

2003-07-05 Thread Daniel Westerberg
Ahh, some activity on the list :) I have a question: Isn't AmIRC supposed to use datatypes to play sound? If so, whey can it only play 8SVX samples?? I have tried aiff and wav and I'm sure I have datatypes for them but they wouldn't play, I only get the DisplayBeep() instead :-( -- All
