I am trying to connect a Mid-tier 7.0.1 to our ARS 6.3 Server.
Mid-tier 7.0.1 is installed the following way -
(Windows 2003)
1. JRE 1.5 (It didn't ask for SDK).
2. Tomcat 5.5.17
3. Copied arsys.war (aka Mid-tier 7.0.1) to \webapps
4. Restarted Tomcat service.

If I follow correctly you are in the Task form, set the Status to closed,
save the Task and then it fires the workflow which eventually updates the
Change form to resolved, providing the task is the last one to be closed.

are displayed. Perhaps those users are using a different setting than the
norm.
