Christianne,
What version of Exchange do you have in your organization?
We had a similar issue with attachments which boiled down to the fact that
Exchange 2003 sends some attachments as content type Multipart / Relative.
This causes issues with Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007 / 2010 where the

I think you should just ask this group for ideas on how to do this task, not

Dear list,
Could somebody confirm that Relationships or Workflow are not displayed for
custom fields in overlaid forms. If this is true, then it is a bug.
Yesterday night, I checked the Record Object Relationships **;' check box in
the server information, and restarted the server.

That seems like a bug to me too.. Unfortunately at this site I am not on 7.6.04
to verify this or I would have been interested in verifying this.
Cheers

Guillaume,
We are on ARS 7.6.04 SP3 and ITSM 7.6.04 SP2 and you are correct. I just
checked our custom fields and they do not display the relationships either.
Thanks,
Lynn

Thanks for confirming Lynn. It's crazy that this bug has not been fixed yet,

Sorry guys...
I have ITSM SP2 and 7.6.04 SP3 and I can see the relationships on my custom

This is a heads up to anyone planning a 7.6.04 upgrade.
So we're using DDM (Delta Data Migration) to migrate data to the new
7.6.04 environment from our existing 7.5 implementation.
Well DDM is migrator based and it does not keep track of DELETE
operations.
ITSM workflow will often use

And go to registry value

That's the reason why you need to use RRR|Chive, which is THE tool for data
migration.
DDM is not production ready yet, it's a nice concept but very limited. With all
the money and resources that BMC spent on DDM,they could have just paid Misi
from RRR to make RRR|Chive prettier, i.e.
Yes, we have run into the issues with URL changes for a RKM 7.6.04 article as

which won't change when the article is versioned but it's not the most
efficient construct and it does display a results list at the top

What makes me laugh is that this is BMC's official product to primarily
migrate their ITSM customers from previous versions to the latest and
greatest.
Yet they don't cover all the aspects for their own product ITSM.

The user authentication happens the AR Server, not the mid-tier.. the only
authentication that happens at the mid-tier is the mid-tiers authentication
to connect to the AR Server (mid-tier password that is configured on the AR

Hope this helps..

That means your authentication is obviously at the AR Server level.. You are
not using any external directories to authenticate against (LDAP)..
Your User form contains username with non null passwords.. if you have users
with null passwords, it basically means they do not have a password set.
Isn't that providing the 'external blank password' is set

Andrew,
Thanks. Footprints is an ITSM suite for smaller companies that BMC just
purchased this year, sort of along the lines of RemedyForce I suppose. Our
hope was that BMC would have a way of migrating from Footprints to Remedy
without losing the investment our company made with both

Hopefully it is just a case of your sales contact not knowing what he or she is
doing. We may be migrating from ITSM to one of the other two BMC products
(requirement is to move to a hosted solution rather than on-premise), and a
lack of flexibility on transferring licenses is the quickest way
