We use Remedy to manage the metadata for a 13M LoC mechatronic

application we started with 10 years ago we manage Goals and Product

Before I reinvent the wheel has anyone implemented, and will share, a

I just integrated AccuRev and our Remedy bug tracking system. If anyone

Is the JVM actually looking for libarjni63.so when it posts this error
or is it some other file and is the java.library.path the CLASSPATH? I
have that location and every other one with a .jar on my CLASSPATH but
still get the error. I cannot find anything with that name as a .class
in any .jar
Forget my request about the arjni63 library; I found the problem. So,
the good news is I found out why my code failed; the bad news is it
failed because there is no library available for Solaris 10 on 386.
Does anyone have any good suggestions as to what method will work to
update a record in
First, I thank the maintainers and contributors for this list and community;
I have learned much over the years and tried to help when I could. Next,
thanks to James Croom especially but to all others who suggested I use a web

I need the api libraries compiled for Solaris on X86. Remedy (I'm quite
unhappy with BMC outsourcing their support to India) has so far said NO!
The api libraries are only available for compatible platforms and that's it.
Not having these libraries for that platform is a major showstopper for a
We are looking at moving from Clearcase to Subversion and I've been tasked
with investigating this issue. We use Remedy for bug tracking (along with
42 other things) and that also means we use Remedy to manage (authorize)
changes to our code.

I second both those emotions! Alfred is certainly one of the best Remedy
support engineers I've ever had on the other end of the phone and, except
for those who cannot speak nor understand simple English, I've always tried
to work with and not against the support engineers as I am doing the same
We are moving our target OS from Solaris Sparc to Solaris_x86 and our build

workaround than using another server as an 'application' server to run the

Let me second that opinion; we have had Remedy and ClearCase integrated for
7 years now with few problems. Clearcase checks with Remedy on every bug
checkin to ensure that the AR has been authorized for that release.
Clearcase code creates verification records for each release hooked to the

We have 24 Scrum Teams working on a 13M LOC real time embedded

We use Remedy for software development IT work and have a lot of forms. My
customers complain that they have to resize both the client window and then
the 'Home Page' Window to get down to the 'Work Estimation' form. Sure, I
could rename that form to move it up but then someone would complain

We use Remedy to manage the maintenance and development of a
