Hi, Listers!
Has anyone successfully upgraded from ITSM 7.0.03 to ITSM 7.6.03? Can
anyone shed some light on it? I also like to know if anyone encounters
any issue in their post-upgraded ITSM 7.6.03 production environment. Is
ITSM 7.6.03 stable?
We have looked at 7.6.04 upgrade but

Interesting you asked about it. When we first encountered the problem,
the Cursor Sharing was already set to FORCE both in the Oracle database
and ar.conf. The DBA then changed it to be EXACT in the database while
we kept it FORCE in ar.conf. This change has improved the performance
noticeably,
number of records. Then at some magic number the
warts start to show.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi Listers.
We are experiencing intermittent timeouts with the ARS. Without me doing

users are getting timeout (or hourglass) but no process is being

I confirmed with our UNIX admin that the server has not been hardened

and I don't have problem connecting to the db from my desktop. So it

I use option t on arserverd and

Rami,
This is a known issue (defect number SW00270693). The BMC support told
me that it's been fixed in the latest patch, ARS 7.0.01 patch 4, but I
don't see it in the release note as being fixed.
Thanks,
