I just got through with all of my installs and was able to log into the Smart
IT system for the 1st time and so far the performance is terrible. I have
opened a ticket with BMC support on the performance, and I have followed the
online performance suggestions

Mongodb 3.0 with WiredTiger also outperform 2.6 by big numbers.

ES is to give you better performance, by default the Mongo FTS will be used.
If you do not foresee large volumes of data for search you can hold off the ES
install.

The BMC Documentation states that 2.6.x MongoDB versions are supported, and I
received confirmation from BMC so I went ahead and used 2.6.10 for my install.
I will also agree that the documentation is lacking for the manual install; it
was very frustrating trying to install the MongoDB and had
nd MyIT – you install one and you get both!

I have just finished installing and configuring a mongodb high availability
environment as per the MYIT Installation documentation.
For the mongodb setup, I used the version as stated by BMC which is mongodb
2.6.8 as the later version are not supported.
I am now planning on installing elastise
