Kelly was of course quite correct that this is a problem with a filter that is set to only trigger on the best practices view. Here is the fix from BMC: Filter HPD:INC:Service_130_GetHPDAppSetting does not run on Classic View so it cannot get the z1G_Contact_Name_Format. The fix is to remove

I have an escalation that run on a time of low usage that cleans up logs, emails, email errors, etc after 30 days. Running that once a week keeps those tables from getting overly large. Which tables to 'purge' depends on your needs. Sounds like you've identified some. For more permanent data
