So just to clarify, Sol is a classic run and jump platform game. it currently has a swathe of accessibility features for all different kinds of impairments, including low vision - high contrast mode, and some text to speech for navigating the menus. Next, they are looking at how to take it a step further, how to communicate the gameplay by audio alone for people who have no residual vision at all. So thats what the testing is needed for... to be sent a prototype of the audio-led gameplay, and see how it works for you. If all you want is numbers, you could sequence recordings of someone saying each number.If you want text-to-speech instead, Im not really sure. I know _javascript_ in IE6 use to support SAPI5 through Active X, but that seems like a terrible approach.I suppose it has a good deal to do with your interface in general. IIUC, Unity renders text as geometric objects, which would make screen reader support difficult.There might be a way to bundle a lightweight TTS library with a project, but there would be details to worry about with that, even before you get to how to handle it code-side.If you could use an accessible GUI element, like a bog-standard text label or web page, screen readers could interact with it. If youre using a visually-friendly HUD, there probably wouldnt be a decent way to incorporate that, though.Im not familiar enough with Unity or C3 (or post HTML5 _javascript_, for that matter) to be any more help ATM.

Okay, Im ready to release the list of waypoints on the map for all 3 characters. Keep in mind that the taxi menu is useless, since you can just press start, go to map and put a waypoint wherever you want to go and the first option when getting into a cab will be the destination you set via the map menu. Its really fun!I found a bug though, and since I didnt read the whole topic it might have been reported before, so please bare with me. I had multiple occasions now, where I picked up loot and just got an empty inventory slot. So, I pick up the loot and the game just says Youre picked up a and nothing else. In my inventory, I just have multiple slots now with just nothing in it. This is nice, dont get me wrong. However personally, all of Microsofts efforts to make Windows support a modern standard always feel clunky, inadequate and half finished to me, and I think this is more of a desperate move to stay up to date by a lazy company than anything else. The architecture of Windows as a whole is nonsensical, and theyre fighting a losing battle trying to modernize it imo. I mean, most Linux distros have an SSH client either installed by default or a command away in a software repository, and as far as I know OS X supports SSH out of the box, and its Unix. Oh, and so does Chrome OS. And this has only been the case for, what, 10 years? Sloppy, sloppy work, Microsoft. How about instead of fucking up the interface with needless animations, stupid predictions and search features that no reasonable person would use (and app advertisements! Really!) you start actually keeping up with the times? I really think theyd be better off comple
 tely rewriting Windows and basing it on Unix, but obviously thats totally impractical from a business standpoint. Okay, rant over, and all that being said, I do find some of their recent moves with regards to Windows vaguely promising, so I guess well see.

Hello,I just got a chance to play. First, is there directions in text? Im a little bad at understanding the lower voice.Second, I am not getting enough info:First, I move 2 directions at once, so I am not able to get 2 direction feedback while moving. Swamp does this by offering the ability to check for walls on a direction, then you can just walk another direction to see if you can move that way. It also has a front and side radar that beeps from right to left and has a clear sound and a wall sound. Entombed has a sound of air blowing at different pitches to tell you what ways you can go. RTR just has footsteps and a sound before you hit the wall. I think the steps before you hit the wall would be best in this case. Also, make sure the steps stop when you hit the wall. I cant figure out if Im moving or not if the steps and the radar keep going after hitting a wall.Im also not quite sure what I am supposed to do. I hear the monster a
 nd I go away from him, but Im not 100% sure where I am to go. I just go through different areas and find the door. It is kind of like Papa Sangre. But there you are able to hear the exit from a long ways away.I would suggest having a way of telling, either by sound from the exit, or a button I press that will give me the direction I need to go for the exit.With the current setup, the maps are really weird and confusing, so I would suggest avoiding small loopbacks and diagonal movement.A lot of directional movement in audio games has to do with us hitting walls. So giving walking along walls and running into corners very clear and quick feedback is extremely important.Otherwise, it looks like a cool game!

hi guies,  well i wasnt play lately this game,   oh i am exciting for new update,  and what the hell,   hackers again trying damage players characters?   firstly you can create new security system,  this means you can monitoring who is trying hack server,   cuz you can see players character what sending the server, i just played swamp, aprone worked more for rid of hackers,  but he found way, lol!  money system!  well let me say! they no life, they just sitting 7 24 computer, lol!  i like teasing them!  they need to ban the blind communities, forums, etc!  they just kept saying,  unban me! i wont hack 
 again! nope, they is kept promises, please unban me, and after you giving chance for her or him, you hearing after server crashed without reason?  or sometime they kept saying unban me admin, if you not unban me i will destroy your project, so dont trust them,  hackers trying show themselves innocent!  good luck the fighting them with

Hi all,According to this web page,http://www.acapela-group.com/infovox/it is possible to purchase a bundle of Infovox voices and utilities on a USB flash drive. You can then either run the product through the USB media on any computer, or install it on up to three computers. I do like the sound of this, but has anyone actually purchased this product? I havent looked for a price yet, but if its not over $150 or so, I think I may be able to afford it, since i have been after many of these voices for a long time. I dont know why, I just like the way they sound. I also have a few other questions.1. When downloading additional voices, does the voice data get installed to the USB flash media? If so, then I would hope the flash media is big enough to accommodate, say, a dozen voices being installed on it.2. Do you buy a single license and then install voices as you wish like the Vocalizer 
 NVDA driver? Or do you pay by voice, or by language?3. Is the whole Infovox voice list available for download, or only a select few? Judging by what I can tell you have access to all of them, but thought Id ask.4. Im assuming you dont have to use the NVDA included on the drive to use these voices with it, its just there for easy access. Check the database under gamebooks. Off hand Fighting fantasy project, Age of fable, Project aon and Chronicles of Arborell come to mind (checkthe db they all have pages though the last two require you to roll your own dice), also chooseyourstory which has a page on the db too, though that one you need to be careful of quality sinse there is a lot of drek. None have the formula choiceofgames do with the stat bars and such though, though theyre still all well worth checking out.

For everyone playing this game on PC, assuming youre using headphones, apparently its better to use the headphones preset. Press start, press right 3 times and then confirm to go to settings, press down three times and then confirm to go to audio settings and then press up 3 times, left one time and press start. I dont have time to test this tonight, but apparently its better using that.

Hey all,For those that play Achaea, I have a question. How did you learn to map out places? I know we can make landmarks, but if you fill up that first 15, you have to buy more. Id rather see if I could take a different approach than to immediately paying for something because their are people who dont pay a cent for this game. So, my question is, how did you guys learn your way around? I wish I could write up something to help me find places, however Im coming up blank. Everyone would be starting at different cities in the game so that wouldnt work, unless I literally walked to every room and mapped it and that would be pretty much impossible. The reason this came up was because in my house they have a scroll for hunting. However, a lot of the places on the scroll are not on the initial landmarks list that youre given. So unless you have some one walk you over, youre not going to
  know where the place is unless you get lucky and can walk to a denison of that area but thats not always reliable. Now I know for users of Mudlet they have a goto feature which gets them around this problem. As far as Im aware though, this client isnt accessible with NVDA. If Im wrong, some one feel free to correct me. So, does anyone here who plays the game have any ideas on what I could try? I dont wanna keep asking housemates or clanmembers because I feel thats breaking in character and I like to stay IC as much as I can unless Im sending tells. I see that their is a mudlet scroll in the VIP clan, but nobody ever seems to be on in the VIP clan unless theyre hidden and Im just not seeing them with clanwho. If we can use Mudlet Id love to give it a try. Or if theirs something for Mushclient, Id try that as well. But, I wanna solve this if I can, as their ha
 s to be a way and maybe with more heads thinking on it, we could come up with something. Im currently using VIP, but will try any suggestions for any clients.

Dude, I dont see how GTA is *ever* going to run on a virtual machine. Ive heard the mac hardware isnice, but I really doubt this is gonna work for you. Could you not do boot camp where instead of running the VM inside OSX, you actually boot into windows, now, if you could do that, Im sure itd work for you.

Hmmm, Ive read the description and on the one hand the minigames and the sf battles, minigames and random items sound awsome. On the other,  The islamic state takes over the world just because America isnt involved? and Russia and china form a new evil comunist superpower? What decade is this author living in? the 1980s! There is a way you can get the otherwise exclusive mons at this point in the game. When you get to Lavender Town, the two routes between it and Celadon City have all the mons that are otherwise exclusive to both versions. Theyd probs be stronger if you caught them early but you can always breed one. And I cant wait for an update either! I wanna play more!

Achaea and mapping

Hey all,For those that play Achaea, I have a question. How did you learn to map out places? I know we can make landarks, but if you fill up that first 15, you have to buy more. Id rather see if I could take a different approach than to immediately paying for something, because, their are people who dont pay a cent for this game. So, my question is, how did you guys learn your way around? I wish I could write up something to help me find places, however Im coming up blank. Everyone would be starting at different cities in the game so that wouldnt work, unless I litterally walked to every room and mapped it and that would be pretty much impossible. The reason this came up was because in my house they have a scroll for hunting. However, a lot of the places on the scroll are not on the initial landmarks list that youre given. So unless you have some one walk you over, youre not going 
 to know where the place is. Now, I know for users of Mudlet they have a goto feature which gets them around this proble. As far as Im aware though, this client isnt accessible with NVDA. If Im wrong, some one feel free to correct me. So, does anyone here who plays the game have any ideas on what I could try? I dont wanna keep asking housemates or clanmembers because I feel thats breaking in character and I like to stay IC as much as I can unless Im sending tells. If we can use Mudlet Id love to give it a try. Or if theirs something for Mushclient, Id try that as well. But, I wanna solve this if I can, as their has to be a way and maybe with more heads thinking on it, we could come up with something.

Shank is a really awesome hack and slash 2d game, where you beat up enemies with swords and other weapons. Really awesome game. But Ill recommend that one on consoles instead, but if you dont have any console, then you should get it for Mac or Windows.

@staindaddict:If its anything like the one I ordered from Amazon, then yes. Youll have a code in the box or on the back/front of the box, which you enter to redeem the product in the client itself. Steam isnt that bad really, contrary to what some people might tell you on here, you just need patience and a willingness to get around the little quirks of having to use NVDA flat review etc.@janagirl:I know there are a lot of gamers feeling frustrated about the last generation delay. To all those considering buying the game for PC, from my experience (which admittedly has been on laptops and desktops without great graphics cards), Id say dont get it and just go for a console. Continuing that, if you get a console, get an Xbox One, as PS4 seems to have far greater problems than the aforementioned Microsoft device. That and there is actually a way to give feedback on the future of the console and things
  like Xbox Live etc.Tanya is now available on consoles as of yesterday and having briefly played her I think shes ok at least. Ill update you with more information as and when I find it. Also, she hasnt broken the game like Jason did on his day 1.

I dont think this would change left/right at all. Im not sure, but I dont think it would affect behind-ness, either. Really, I think all youd need to do is swap labels/variable names for north and south.But Id have to try it both ways to be sure.

Awsome news, please keep us posted of developments etc. There is no earthly reason such a game couldnt! exist in audio, all the necessary informational tools are there, menus and sstatus reports for the battles, inventory etc, and some sort of basic first person navigation mechanics for the overworld, its just for someone to put everything together and do it, so Ill be extremely pleased if Foralltoplay does.

Hmmm, Ive read the description and on the one hand the minigames and the sf battles sound awsome. Hello,For those who dont know, ssh is a bit like ftp, so this basically means you can connect and share things as well, and if you know someone who has an ssh server you will be able to connect directly using windows itself.

Hello,It requires more patches, yes, but thats the difference between the ps4 and the pc versions: if you get a ps4 version and you find a problem, chances are it will be fixed much quicker. The PC version, on the other hand, is a bit of a flop, and Ive stopped checking things on the day of release as a resut. Last time, lots of people lost their save data. That, and every time a new patch downloads, its 15 gb on the PC, where as on both xbox 1 and ps4 the downloads seem to happen in the background so you can still play other games.
