Hey Jayde, just found an error in your guide. It's to do with the box puzzle in the arcade hideout. After pushing it down 2 and right 4 to activate the switch, you say to push it 8 left, then north onto the teleporter, but that is not possible. You have to push it 1 more to the right, 2 up, all the way left (think I counted 9), then you can push it up.Just went poking around on my old file to get an idea of some things I can expect in the future on my new one. Grandlan gets both Toxic Tail and Blaze Rampage via the memory tutor. Let's recap, that's a 90 power earth move, 60 power magic move (90 if you want to run off special attack), 90 power flame move, and 100 power poison move, eventually all getting the STAB bonus. Bwahahahahaha. Kinidul worries me a bit though. I blew all my levelup herbs on that file so can't check future moves without a lot of grinding, but his stats look like they're defense oriented. MayI remind you this is a flame type? Fire types in Pokémon were never known for their durability, and the same is true here. In fact his lowest stat at level 40 is magic attack at a paultry 72, and it's not even underdeveloped or lacking. In contrast, Polosses's lowest stat is in the high 80s, and my Galvana has 80 attack, but it's apparently "not so good". We don't know what else it'll learn, though, so I'm not giving up on it yet.

I'll be getting a Win10 laptop in a few days, 8 g,gs ram and 1 tb hard drive, so I'll be able to judge the worth of all 3 major systems, Mac, Linux, and Windows. I wanted to like Android, but 5.0.1, and the keyboard sticking issue, software I know, made that impossible. So, Uncle, I say in defeat. Windows here I am. I'll keep Linux on the Mac, unless something apple does impresses me enough to put os back on it, but I don't know. Ugh. It's sad, wanting to support freedom, but the creator of Orca is trying so hard, but it has to be a fully group effort, her alone can't do all this that needs doing.

Well, for me, it was pretty much a last minute thing. I graduated last year, at 21. School was pointless for me, only tech and English being of any value. In the States, we have job counsellors, which suggest jobs for blind and other disabled people. So they suggested a job, I thought about it, and accepted it. I'll be getting training directly for it, in Arkansas, starting sometime next month I believe, although no one seems to know exactly when. *grumbles about no one seeming to know much of anything in government nowadays*.

Gronk line gets Aura Master and Meteor Rush, and also gets Scourge Tail (I think?) for coverage. It will get Tunnel, but that's the only earth move it gets.Deciced strikes me as another sorta kinda glass-cannon type. I think it gets Night Stick at higher levels, and if that forever remains a 70 power physical shadow move, like Scourge Tail, then ice-shadow coverage isn't bad.Peach, your Blazond's stats actually don't look half bad. I don't know which moves he'll learn, but don't ditch him just yet. I'm pretty sure Tylovile is worse in everything except maybe defense.I still feel like Manja is busted, but it's not as bad off as it used to be. I'd love to see someone actually use a Deciced competitively because sometimes when I see them, they do freakish amounts of damage. Super-weak to fighting though.Sacroloon really isn't bad. If you want a one-shot killer, it's not your pick. If you want somet
 hing fairly reliable that can stick around, give it a try. Funnily enough, at really high levels it learns Wing Slash (physical air move). It does get Heaven's Winds though, to cover both of its types at once, and to me at least, this is preferable unless you prefer to ignore its holy type and go for Wing Slash, Roar, both screens and Inner Healing, or something like that.Just beat Dustin and my entire team is level 36 now. Pandourbit is surprisingly good, both tankish and with a high attack stat. Bad speed, it's true, and a lot of weaknesses, but when it hits, it hurts. Plus Soul Split, Copy, Roar, Unending Curse, Earthquake, Spirit Force, Stone Throw...all pretty nice moves. Really can't complain about this guy.

Meh, Deciced is more focused on attack than magic attack, I can't see Bubble Burst doing enough damage to make it worthwhile. They're gonna survive and smack you back with a much stronger super effective hit. Interesting timing for that, I'm giving Deciced a spin on my new playthrough, I discovered that the Bergan I had was above average to remarkable in every stat, and Ratsal was not pulling his weight, so I swapped. Only having Pounce and Splash at first was a bit of a drag, but equipping a power dagger gave him 55 attack as a mere level 15 Deciced, so even pounce did enough damage to wipe out feral Manamon pretty quickly. Once he got ice cutter, things just got better. Still replacing him with Polosses when I get it, but this didn't cost me a life tonic and only took less than an hour to catch up to my squad, so having an ice type to carry me until then will be nice.To answer the question about Groller, it gets Tunnel somewhere in the early 30s. Not s
 ure if it gets any more earth moves after that.Currently partway through the arcade hideout, with Girmarine, Jimitron, Skiriel, Promoulder, Groller and Deciced, all between level 31 and 33.

jade, blaizond at level 21 has the following stats,hp 68ATK, 59def, 42 with 25 train pointsSP-ATK, 45SP-DEF, 50SPE, 39hmm.  not that impressive.  looks like it's tylavile for fire coverage.  and I just listed blaizond's stats in pokemon form woops.seems like the only good mutmo transformation is elvand.may take sacrloon for a spin.  or that palidor evolution.  testing out mange. while dumping all it's train points into defense.  granted, piledriver, shadow claw, stone fist, hoen blades, and black bite possible, may not be the best moveset, but it seems  steady in the accuracy department.  and having a move that can do set damage,  seems to come in handy, some times.  but that's my thoughts.what earth moves does the gronk line get, right now, mine's got takedown, lazer arm, metal fist, claw swipe and snear.  hoping it gets som
 e better stuff.  and I'm not sure what to put it's train points in.  if it gets meteor rush, I could put most it's points into magic attack, but other than that, not sure where it needs help because it seems kind of tanky already.I may run decised, but  level it up as a burgin, so I can get bubble burst for the water coverage.  again just a thought.blaah, I could drop fire coverage,  since the stuff fire takes out,  other types can take out as well. probably. all in the name of trying manamon I've not fully tried to their full before.  poor decised.  never should of transformed it as soon as I got it that first game. it missed out on a water move which  may not be great, but could shock the crap out of people who don't expect it.

Hi,Sorry for bumping an old topic, but was browsing audio stuff on here and couldn't resist.I checked out the posted clip and did some rough work on it to try and keep the channels in sync. I went to the end of the file and saw the left channel was ahead of the right. By deleting approx. 800 samples or 0.018 seconds from a spot very close to the end on the right channel, the stereo image was much more cohesive. The 800 samples isn't an exact figure of how far out of alignment the channels are, it was just something I tried that worked. I don't know if it is even possible to scientifically measure, down to the sample level, how far off alignment channels are, especially when the two sources are far apart. It's easier to do with more closely based mics but these were wide apart it seems. Or at least the stereo image suggests width. Anyway, let's do some math:If it takes the left channel approx 70 minutes to get 800 samples ahead...800
 /70 = 11.43 samples per minute11.43/60 = just shy of 0.2. That is a very rough sample rate difference between the two.Just as an experiment I told Gold Wave to pitch the audio on the right channnel in such a way as to make it 0.018 secs shorter than the left. In theory this would at least minimize the drift, even though I had not the means or patience to try to scientifically measure it. I wasn't expecting much. But to my surprise it actually did preserve a nice stereo image throughout, without any audible artifacts that I could hear. This is exactly why interpolation exists... to allow a guestimation of the waveform between the sample points.I suspect there are automated solutions that can do this, though whether they can cope with gradual drift and to what extent I don't know. I do know azimuth correction is available to fix some channel alignment issues particularly with tape, but I don't think that's the same as what we are seeing here where
  the channels drift gradually because of very slightly differently timed clocks.I was actually going to try this kind of recording with two IPhones to see how the mics would sound in stereo, just for the fun of it. Hi let's compare I phone with android. I phone, home button is there but you cannot close all apps at a time through the app switcher. android. exception in the home buttons but you can close all of the apps. Lenovo which is the android supporter have the ability of smart call. when you put it on your ears it will receive automatically. But I phone din't have. the Google TTs is not good and quiet annoying but you can use eloquence. you can easily take the whats app call in I phone but not in the android at least with me. the roater setting or a roater concept is quite good which android doesn't have. that is my analysis of the two OS what is yours?ThanksIshan

Weather we agree with or not, the decision has been made, and it's probably not going to change ever.  Either get one or don't -- truthfully, it makes no difference to Apple.  They're going to get their sails anyway.  I just called my carrier to ask a question and am waiting for upwards of two hours, and the preorders haven't started yet, so, they'll sell, and they'll sell well.  I've never waited for more than a half hour on a given day.Android is a viable alternative.  It's not iOS, but it can be used.  I've only heard it's gotten better, and when I used a Nexus Five, the only reason I went back to Apple was because of a few minor things that, from what I can tell, have mostly been resolved.Also, not trying to be a dickhead here, I'm really not, but it's Android, A, N, D, R, O, I, D, not E, N, D, R, O, I, D.The OCR help on the camera might be more helpful than first tho
 ught.  They did include an image processor that, so they say, helps negate shaky hands.  That will help with OCR.

I'm pretty sure, BTW, that Sheepit learns Hammerhead (fighting move) if it's not transformed, but Lamgurk definitely does not learn it.On the other hand, just stay away from that line. The only, and I do mean only, earth move that entire line appears to learn is Mudslide, at level 40-something (46 as Lamgurk I think). No Tunnel. No Quake or Earthquake. Just Mudslide, which is inaccurate. Lamgurk getting Rock and Roll and Crunch, and having rather high attack, doesn't matter when its special defense is bad, its speed is meh, and its same-type-attack coverage sucks. Even Craggallem is better, and that's saying something.

Nah, Matt, you're out of luck. On the plus side, I've taken down the upgraded master stadium with level 70-75 manamon (including the two big mythicals). The rematches are a bit tougher, but type matchups might let you do it around level 75. I beat Seinarus largely with a Dormanoid at level 77 holding a headstone amulet so he couldn't be hurt by holy attacks. Takes a crapton of healing items, but it's very doable.But no, there are no better ways to level up, I'm afraid. This is generally what I use level-up herbs for.

Okay, I restarted my primary save so I could attempt saving the guy with the .zip files with only my knife.How. The Hell.My arm hurts from trying and I never even get one virus because the little bastards fly right over my head before I can hit them more than a couple times and there's no way to stop them from doing that. And they're so bloody fast I can never catch up to them in time, and yes, I've tried jump-running, but I'm not coordinated enough to switch directions, jump and knife the little buggers faster than they can fly. I'm pressing the keys as fast as I can and they still  escape! I need tips! Or at least to know if it's even worth trying. Some achievements don't give bits. Is this one of them?Also, what's the deal with this pit in My Music with a platform that you get an accomplishment for finding? Is it that pit to the left of wear you land? Because I hear no platform there and it's far too long to
  jump without dying at either end...

I don't think so. It would be nice if there were another post game area with level 80-85 mons, and/or having the master stadium scale up the more times you beat it.For example, each time you beat it, the mons in there are increased in difficulty by 2 levels. Something like that, anyway.

it ain't a virus, but crappy heuristics false flag it, so no matter where you get the file from, AutoIt is still flagged as a virus, so you have to either disable the virus checker while its running or add an exception.*** EDIT***After downloading it, and running the installer, windows defender says it has this trojan win32 in it, with some extrra things. I deleted the file I don't know I don't believe you would upload a virus Ghorthalon, but that's odd that it would say wintrojan 32 and not just like potentually unwanted program or something like that.

I think this does make sense. Earlier, I created a method called spawn, and all it did was add the variable standard to the array. I was wondering why it wasn't creating more enemies. What I really should do is loop standard.movement in a for loop, that way it individually executes each enemy. I'm going to try this out and I'll get back to you with my results . Thank you.

I do not view apple as god myself. I needed to replace my nokia 6620 and I wanted something that I could set up without sight. The app I needed most is the phone app. Of cource GPS is a major plus for me. I don't know what the best option for me is when it comes to endroid. Neither do I know how much if any visual aid is needed to set an endroid phone. I figure that the next year or two should be enough for me to go look at endroid phones and the like to see if endroid will fit me when it becomes time again to upgrade. Upgrade time for me is about two years away, or when ever I get enough cash to the upgrade. I may upgrade next in three years instead of two, but we shall see. At least I was smart enough to go for an unlocked phone per say. At least, my IPhone 6s has better be unlocked seeing that the full price was paid for it. At this time, I am ok with the IPhone 6S, but the whole no head phone jack was sort of the reason why I went for the 6S instead of weighting for the I
 Phone 7. The duel camera thing doesn't really atract  me at this time. I am not to sure what differences that would make to the KNFB reader app. Add to that, I really do not take pictures of things except for those things I wish to read. The faster processer is sort of interesting. Two speakers on my phone is one of those things I do not miss. I know i listen to music on my IPod touch some when away from home, but I always used wired headphones when I could. I knew that the IPhone would do the music with no problem. I also knew that the apps I have on my IPod touch and Ipad would run on the IPhone 6S. I also listen to some podcasts too. The more I think about it, I wonder if it comes down to people not knowing about endroid, or having the apps that they want on their IPhone, or something else. Maybe I should find me an endroid device to play with for awhile to see if the apps and the like I want can be found in the play store along with how the whole endroid OS would work 
 for me.

I don't know much about the tecnical workings of festival. not only that, a lot of the pre-dectalk synths seam to have been lost to time and no one has even attempted a simulation of any of them, which is a shame since I certainly could use a davo simulator (davo was an early singing synthesizer created in the 1950s) for a few songs. appearently, the recording of davo singing the ABC song pre-dates the iconic IBM700 version of Daisy Bell by about 10 years.

Good luck, ulysses! the festival version of How many days has my baby to play was dun using an online service, by the way. CSLU never released a windows binary for flinger as far as I know, which is a shame since given the right skills I could crank out some actual songs on that. same can be said with lyricos, from the same company, which never got past the prototype stage.

Have you been able to work out your issue? It sounds like something hacked into your gegistry. I remember having a similar issue on Android, where I would be directed to some web site on the browser app. I had to do a cache clearing to get rid of it, and fortunately it worked.

problem with Bryan Smart's Talking Windows PE

Hello all.This may seem like a minor problem, but how the hell do I get the zip file to open using Mac OS X? For some reason it says the zip is corrupted. However, for some reason, some of the files (such as the basic PE iso image) are extracted. I've tried extracting it with stuffit expander and the unzip command line program, and nothing seems to work.

I have a mac and an iPhone 6, and my contract is up next month. I don't think apple is god at all, and would not mind going Android even if it causes me some accessibility headaches. Linux has taught me to appreciate having choices and options, so i expect that from android as well, even if i have to root my phone to get what i want, i'll figure it out. The mac is a great platform, but i don't have as much freedom as i would like, sure i could run virtual machines to play windows games, but that is why i have a dedicated gaming machine. If apple was a one stop drop for everything, that would be great, but it's not, and the flowers in the walled guard in get stinky after a while.

I am actually not surprised that ITunes worked better for you, for two reasons. First, if I remember correctly the IOS7 and up ringtones are in m4a format and seem to loop reasonably well, though don't hold me to that as I could be wrong. But I've also seen this kind of thing before.If you want to get technical, no compression format is gapless in its raw form, as the compression process chunks the data into blocks of specific lengths. All the blocks need to be filled. You cannot have a partial block, if you do it needs to be padded which introduces gaps at either end of the file. The processing itself also adds a bit of silence at one or both ends of the file, as the algorithms need a fairly large amount of look-ahead, and a small buffer of preceeding data. All those buffers need to clear, which also takes time. The only format which doesn't chunk into blocks and require any fancy analysis is wav and those uncompressed formats based on it.The reason som
 e formats are called gapless is that the format accounts for its algorithmic delay. In other words it knows how much to remove from both sides to produce output that is the same length as the original. Not sure how exactly it stores this information. ogg is a perfect example of a format that does this though.MP3 is an example of a format that tends to break loops. However I've heard the Lame mp3 encoder can put gapless headers in its mp3 files. This means that mp3 decoders and players that support this header info could loop the file without fail. If a player doesn't support this info it will simply be ignored and there will be a gap. My best guess is that ITunes and other Apple products provide gapless info in their conversions which Apple players can see. Because MP3 and M4A don't seem to support gapless playback natively like ogg does, for example, you unfortunately run into the problems you describe above.I'm glad I could be of assistance.

Agreed completely, Figment! My contract is up this year, and I'm currently debating between just sticking with my iphone 6 or going android. The 7 isn't even a consideration at this point. Done is in the past tense indeed! but many blind people, especially many of us in the blind community, think Apple is God because of their accessibility inovation. Sure it was groundbreaking... but the key term there again is "was". They're hardly the king of accessibility nowadays, just because they have the most stable form of it. The latest android phones I've played with running version 6 and above have all been good alternatives.

Well, my first post on one of this topics. I should probably add to the already going conversation but ... nah.As people who know me know, I'm still going to school. This year's already torcher, we got piles of homework even on the first day and have been getting it all other days too. Luckely the first test is only in middle of October, but we'll be getting other marks before then. Not sure how it's called in English, I guess translated from my language it would be asking, don't care to check, but yeah, some teachers already plan to start this week. I know, I'm complaining to much now, I'll get used to it eventualy, it's allways hard the first munth after summer. This year it's 9th class. Which means being the oldest, the smartest and all that. It also means choosing where to go next. I'm worried about it. I've got another half a year or so to choose, and I have no ideas what I want to be, where I want to go, why 
 and how. Everyone else eather knows exactly or at least has some idea. I'm honestly afraid to choose wrong, to mess up, I know you can change it later but it will still cost you if you do.So if anyone bother's answering, how was it for you? How did you decide where to go to, did you have an idea from the beginning or got one the last second? I know that there were school debates here priviusly but still it doesn't hurt to ask.

Yeah, I'll probably be sticking with Aura Master (think I saw it learns that?), but that's ok, Oristar and especially Enchantethol needed the help, whereas Grandlan still has his Earth attacks, plus everything else he learns that also basically gets STAB because of Grandlan Clay. So his Meteor Rush is a trade off I'm ok with.

@aprone, we don't have gram crackers over here, but I was once shocked by what happens if you light a digestive biscuit on fire, then again flour, sugar and fat and likely preservatives probably isn't a good combination in terms of fire safety. Look on the bright side though, all those ready meals that we say taste like plastic? well now there's a perfectly good explanation as to why. They may taste awful and have the nutritional content of a boal full of glue, but at least we know they're made of properly fire safe polima, none of those nasty combustable vitamins and minerals and calories .

Yes, Apple has done a lot for accessibility with iOS and macOS. But notice that done is in the past tense, that's where Apple's innovation and progress in accessibility lay. In the past two and a half years that I've had an iPhone there has been no significant innovations or progress in accessibility by Apple. Instead that nod goes to Android which has been making great strides towards accessibility in general. When I got my iPhone,it was the only real option for an accessible phone, not any more, now Android is a viable option.Microsoft has also been making excelant progress with their accessibility efforts. Narrator in the anniversary edition of Windows 10 is quite good, far better than it has been in the past.Seems to me like Apple is standing still, or sliding backwards if you consider the earphone jack, while the rest of the world is catching up to and passing them.The more I look at them the more I think that if my next phone isn't an
  SE, it will be an Android phone.

Eh, basically, if you use an array of handles to enemy class instances which, as revealed through the previous discussion, would be the best approach to implementing a multitude of enemies, then you will have to loop through the enemy array in your main loop. The best way to do that is using an embedded for loop. To put it simply, among other instructions in your main loop, you will just be doing something through a for loop manipulating the array of enemies.What this something is will be entirely up to you. The style I like using is doing all the subsequent instructions for individual class instances in that class's own method which I call act or update. Basically, the enemy behavior itself is not written out plain in the main loop but only in that subsequent method which is called for each enemy instance in the array through the main loop.If the enemies' only job in the end will be to handle movement, you might as well just do that directly when looping t
 hrough the array, without having to call another method of the enemy class.Does this make more sense now?Lukas

Because the way I'm understanding it, it's just being held in the array, but it's still carrying out it's function. I guess my question is, what would need to be updated? Hi,yeah, I suppose making the key press just spawn another enemy and add it into the array of handles would be a better approach in general.If you made the moving boolean entirely global, then yes, it would of course control all of the enemies at once. Another possibility would be to make it a property of the enemy class instead. That way, it would be specific and separate for each instance of enemy. In any case though, there is no need to use it as an argument in the move method itself, that just provides no real use.You could also get rid of it entirely. If you only wanted to make sure that the enemy doesn't start moving until spawned, well, then he doesn't, because since he's not there on the game board yet until he's been spawned, he can't actually move either. If you want to have other factors influencing when an enemy should start moving in the end product, you will probably need other decisions and if checks to compare more speci
 fic circumstances anyway.For the time being, you could pretty well just check the value of the timer.Lukas

As I said in two of my posts above, and will say a third time, no, it's not accessible.This is a clone of Counter-Strike, with it's own source code, nothing taken from Valve except possibly sprites and sounds and the idea.If you want to know more, go to www.cs2d.comIt probably doesn't belong here, unless someone takes the time to mod the thing. Which might be easier than modding the real counter-strike, since this thing is 2D.Edit: Just looked at the thing.It seems like Unreal Software is behind this. Not sure if it's the real unreal software (see what happened there?) but it seems like it.Game seems to be written in BlitzMax, not sure though, and source code is not available. However, lua scripting is a thing.

IRC servers can only be set up on a box that you have root level access to. If you do not have this, you might wanna look into something like AJAX Chat by BlueImp. It does not have auto reading of messages by default, however it can be enabled if you put Aria tags where they belong. This requires you to know your _javascript_ and HTML.There are thousands of web IRC clients, so it's just a matter of choosing one you like. You also do not need your own IRC server, you can simply use freenode or TDRealms.

The reason why it's probably flagged is AutoIt.BlackSquare is written in AutoIt V3. Most Antivirus programs are like Oh! It's AutoIt! Well I suppose a lot of foods are actually flammable... alcohol, fat, oils, grease.  Dry pasta noodles will steadily burn like candles, and are used by people to reach in and light their furnace/water heater pilot light.  Normal potato chips are flammable too, but just not quite to the level that doritos are.  Graham crackers are supposed to go up in flames very quickly (flash burn) though I've never seen it myself.  I may be mistaken, but I believe I've heard that some cheeses are flammable because of their grease content.  It would seem that when we sit down for dinner, we are refueling ourselves in more ways than one.Did you know, a staggeringly high percentage of people who burned to death, had eaten food at some point during the day beforehand?  Coincidence?  Probably, but what good is having tin foil in the house if you don't wear it as a hat every now and again.  Edit:  I can't believe I almost forgot about flour!  Not only have people died from flour explosions since like, forever, but one of my co-workers burned down his kitchen in part because he didn't realize flour was flammable.  He had actually started a small grease fire by accident and knew pouring water on it would be a mistake.  He grabbed a bag of flour and dumped it in an effort to stop the fire before it could spread to the larger pot he was deep frying a turkey in.  He said there was a forceful bang (flour explodes more than it burns) and flaming oil was blasted everywhere in his kitchen, also setting alight the oil in the large fryer.  He had burns on his hands and arms, and lost his kitchen by the time the fire department arrived, but was otherwise alright.  This happened quite a few years ago.Powdered coffee creamer is flammable too.  For Halloween, on 2 separat
 e years, I had a pumpkin that shot powdered coffee creamer up out of the top using compressed air.  The blast of creamer would fly past a few candles attached to the rim of the pumpkin, lighting the cloud.  The result was tall blasts of fire that were easily 10 feet in the air.  The last time had several people complaining to me about safety issues, so I have not repeated the fire breathing pumpkin since.

Tenshaino has some decent attack and pretty good defense. HP isn't wickedly high and speed isn't super-high either, but it'll wreck stuff if it hits. I'm not sure if Power Punch will cut it, but it's better than freaking Rookie Kick.I really, really hope Galvana gets Superspark or Sparking Tail or something. It does seem to have pretty tankish stats, but do let us know how you fare. Grandlan, with the change to Meteor Rush, lost a little power because now his best magic attack runs off his lesser attacking stat. Polosses is awesome when he gets going, the best pure ice type in the game, bar none...but then, he is a mythical, so that's to be expected.

Hi there,I was able to install NVDA on the virtual machine, but two things keep happening. First off, I keep putting private detective school in the CD drive, and it keeps giving me the same protection screen that it would as if I was running on it windows 7 or 10. So, it's running XP, but the CD wont' work, I don't understand why. I have an original copy of the disk, and it won't workSecond, I installed all the BSC games on the virtual machine, but when I click on the .exe file to get my unlock codes in the generator, it gives me an error. I dont' get it. I can't win. lolAny one have any ideas at all?Oh, another thing that would be nice would be the ability to copy and paste between machines.Thanks for any help.

@BryanT:I think, Apple's inovation in the beginning is the reason, why a lot of People, including me, are so annoyed with Apple right now. It's not only the removing of the headphone jack. It's the reason, why they did it. Now, People have no choice, than to buy new headphones from Apple, instead from another, possibly cheaper seller. Making the Thing waterproof is no reason also, because Samsung did that years ago, with keeping the headphone jack. And have you ever tried to use Voiceover with a Bluetooth Headset? It's a pain in the, well, ear, because it's so painstakingly slow. Yes, Apple did a lot for accessibility. But that, also stagnatd a bit in the last few years. That's especially noticeable, if you have a look at the new AppleTV. Voiceover works there, but it's not perfect. It lacks Features, that easily could have built in, because they already existed on IOS. To Close this Long post, I won't buy another Apple pro
 duct. I don't want to Support the course, they have Chosen.

Hello and welcome to the forum. A rythm action game for Ios would be awesome (and I'm not just saying that given the amount of time I've spent on rythm rage), so I definitely like the sound of this, especially if it encoorporates the ability to use the Iphone gyro to make gestures as well as touching the screen, physical movement in a rythm action game would certainly be a new mechanic, particularly since despite Smackme and Zany touch experimenting a little with the formula neither really took it too far. As regards irritations or access niggles with Aps though, it depends upon how things work. The first and most major question is what roll is Voiceover playing in the game? Since concerns of ap design worries will change according to whether Voiceover is used for things like starting a new game, checking your score, choosing game options etc. If voiceover is! to be used then most requirements are fairly logical, ie, that vo speaks all elements correc
 tly and can navigate to them easily, (either by simple left right flicks or by directly running a finger across the screen), none of those irritating partial image controls with squiffy lables, buttons with indefinite position or uncertain properties, and none of those ultra fast popups that appear and vanish before vo has a chance to read them. This also goes for any in ap purchices if the game has them, since there's nothing quite as annoying as a game which it's impossible to buy or donate to (I can actually think of one game, which is very! accessible with vo, and completely impossible to actually pay for due to bad lables in it's in ap upgrades store).The major thing about using Vo however is making sure that voiceover behaves itself when the arcade game portion actually starts, since it can be a little irritating, and rather confusing to start an arcade game and have to turn vo off just after you've hit the "start game button" especially if
  say for example you press the home button an extra time or take yourself out of the running ap and back onto the home screen, leaving the arcade game running.If you want an example of an arcade audio game which extensively uses the phone to it's advantage, uses vo for it's controls and reading of in game text but stops vo every time you need to get into the action, check out Audio defense zombie arena from somethinelse.On the other hand, if your planning self voicing menus and for the player to turn vo off when the ap is run, that's not necessarily a problem but has it's own requirements. The first of these is an efficient sound interface with speech interupt that can get to the controls. There is nothing so annoying as having to listen to a game say "Press with one finger to move through the options and then press with two fingers to select one" each and every time you run the game without interuption. Obviously you need that infor
 mation the first time you run the game but not every! time. Similarly, hearing "Start game, starts a new game"  with no interupt can get rather irritating.Of self voiced menus, there are two main types I've seen. those that let you scroll through the options with a gesture, effectively using a system similar to Voiceover's left/right flicks, and those that work by using the corners of the screen as buttons, eg "Touch the top left corner of the screen to start a new game, the top right to replay your score, the bottom left to change options" I personally prefer the scrolling menus method myself,though that could be a personal preference thing. This is because by using the corners as buttons method you are limited to only a few choices, effectively four corners that can be found easily within the game menu, thus you tend to have to hear the menu explanation more frequently since it's not usually possible to remember specifica
 lly what each button does, especially for functions you only need intermitantly.Also, the onscreen buttons method has the problem that if your not sure of the menu choices or options, you need to replay all of them each time, which can get complex especially if you have a number of sub menus, where as menus that have more of a single flick and scroll method can be gone through much more quickly to find the option you want. One other thing to bare in mind if the game is using self voiced menus, is how vo intigrates with options like viewing game center, in ap upgrades etc. Turning vo on isn't a problem, but certain gestures due to screen sensativity can be somewhat more of a pest without vo, for example one game I can think of needs vo turned off to play, but then instructs the player to slide a finger up the screen to access game center and turn vo back on. Often I've found myself exiting the screen, or turning on the game center then toggling back to the ori
 ginal ap window, or even turning on game center and hitting something I don't want because my slide went too far.Of course, if it was just a self voiced option

I am not here to try to change peoples opinions.   Everyone has their opinion and I respect that. It is not right to try to change someone's opinion on an issue.   I am simply trying to get my opinion of  across in a manner that will not start a flame war. That is not my intention.  I am just reminding everyone of the wonderful things that Apple has done, and encouraging everyone to think about that. Whether or not they agree with me or decide to get the new iPhone is completely  up to them.
