Weird problem with CSR on my new phone Hi.I recently got an opppo find x2 pro and tried using CSR on it. Oh, the max audio monstrosity!I'm having similar issues with my xps 9300.When you plug in your audio device, it'll pop up with the audio pro thing.What you want to do is go to the list and go all the way to the bottom option and press enter on it and it should eliminate the weird audio sounds at least. NVDA issues
NVDA issues Hi.There are 2 problem I'm having with NVDA.1, the notification area keeps jumping back to the previous notification, for example if I want to check something in the tray and I have malwarebytes open it will jump back to malwarebytes.The second issue is that NVDA will use more CPU the more it's used, and the audio graph isolation process starts taking up a ridiculous amount of CPU and I have to restart NVDA.Can these be fixed? Weird lag when typing on my phone. Hi.I recently got the new xperia 1 II phone, and it works wonders.However, one problem I'm facing is this lag I get when typing on the keyboard.Unlike my previous Samsung S8, there's a half second lag when I press keys, so when I go to type quick it doesn't work out.I'm using CSR if that has anything to do with it, but I was using the same on my S8 and everything was fine.Can someone maybe suggest a fix? Help needed with bluetooth lag on win10 Hi.As the subject says, I would appreciate help on fixing this really annoying, lag problem.I recently purchased some Bluetooth earbuds, and when I connect them to my laptop there's a noticeable input lag which slows me down a lot.Also my NVDA seems to only speak half of what it's supposed to say, i.e. it'll either cut out the first bit or the last. Any accessible disk usage monitors for windows? Re: Ridiculously High RAM Usage With NO Apparent Cause I think it may be a dell XPS or dell computer specific issue.I have a dell XPS 13 9300 and have the exact same problem, it's just I have 16GB ram.My gaming laptop doesn't do it, at idle I'm at 9% of 32GB usage give or take, but with my XPS I'm at 22% when I first boot, and I have more or less the same programs running as you do.I do notice that when you finish doing things, it doesn't seem to free up ram I.E. if I keep restarting a program, the usage will gradually rise without coming down.As an earlier poster mentioned, it could be if you have a web browser open for a long period of time.I was on a site for a couple of hours yesterday, and although I only had 1 browser tab open, by the time I was finished with it my usage was at an unexplainable 90% give or take.I put it to sleep thinking it might right itself if I left it for a bit, and the next time I came to use it the thing wouldn't even respond to my keyboard presses because it mustn't have had any memory to play with. One of the things that is unpredictable is what is and isn't audio described, don't get me started on catch-up TV! lol.For talk shows and similar stuff it isn't needed, but if there's a film on with a lot of on screen events and it's not audio described, then it's not fair on both sides for someone who can't see what's happening to be constantly asking what's going on, as for them the noise coming from the TV may be just as useless as a sighted person listening to an audio game.@26 Yeah the same applies to me, but as I have said I don't have a problem with their noise. A born blindman's rant on gaming in front of sighted people If the subject didn't tell you of my bad mood at the time of writing this, then you will certainly know at the end of this post :d.I've been living my grandparents for the 20 years I've been on this earth, and they still keep moaning and commenting at the slightest things.What things you may ask?Well, have you ever been in a situation where you're playing an audio game happily minding your own business, and people come up to you and say: Ehh, do you know there's nothing on your screen?Why is your computer making those noises?Turn that down or put headphones on please!That last one is my worst.Take today for example, people were sorting things out in the kitchen making lots of noise moving things around.Naturally it got to the point where I couldn't hear my laptop, as I was with them at the time, and I like to be sociable whilst I game.And no, gaming doesn't make you as anti-social as older generation people make it out to be But getting to the point, I turned my laptop up to an audible level, around 50% volume give or take.30 seconds later I had my first negative comment: Isn't that rather loud and noisy?My reply was that I couldn't hear my laptop because you are doing your things and I am doing mine, that I didn't plan on keeping at said noise level forever, and that I need to hear because I can't see, obviously!It's not the last time this has happened, and it probably won't be.I know it's just one of the things in life that I'll have to get on with, but it's the affect on my confidence that annoys me.There's even been times where I higher up my laptop or device when there's an advert break on the TV, and I get told to wear headphones or turn it off, and when I argue my case that I don't want to wear them and I'm just highering it up for a bit, they just start getting all defensive although I don't mean to cause any arguments.I just wish people had the decency to take my blindness into account. Does NVDA take up a lot of ram in win10? Hi.As someone who has used many different laptops, I would stay away from Lenovo.The main reason being is that out of the box there function keys are changed, so you even have to press 3 keys just to close a program with the regular alt F4 command that's on other laptops.Yes, you may be able to change it in the bios, but I would rather invest in something I know I can use from the start, rather than getting sighted assistance to go into the bowels of my laptop just to reverse keyboard keys.Personally, I would recommend either the dell range of laptops, or if you're looking for something with a bigger keyboard, you can pick up an Asus gaming laptop or one that has the numpad and other keys on it.
