My unmodded Transporter is an excellent piece of equipment. I prefer the
DAC in it to my Benchmark DAC I. I use the balanced analog outs of the
Transporter into my system. Total 100% blackness (no sound, no ever so
slight hiss, no nothing) when on but not playing music.

the first few posters said basically first do all the TT3.0 mods! The
guy wants to change the info displayed, and he's being told to do mods
that turn OFF the display entirely!

CABLE was being in the system out of N trials.
90% of the time? 50/50 (guessing). Or simply report that I like Cable X
better in my system. If you report that Cable X gave much better quality
audio than Cable Y, then you should be willing to report a simple blind
test result.
