Cheri, in a way I'm happy for my gaff, otherwise I wouldn't have learned

researching my family in other islands I was thinking there were a lot of
single mothers in Sao Jorge im comparison to Sao Miguel. (LOL).

Saints Catholic Church, 22824 Second St., Hayward 510.581.2570. If you want
to go to the cemetary, you'll need to contact them first as the

Hi
Tony,
No, there are no digital images from the CCA site for Pico. There is a
searchable database at the NEPS site
http://www.neps.ics.uminho.pt/ilhadopico.html
Ribeiras is found in the Lajes do Pico

Hi Eric,
Welcome to the group. Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery is located on Walpert St. In
the olden days, you could only reach the cemetery via Second St. Walpert is
the street just past the castle. Now, Walpert runs between Second St and

Century, from among the baptismal records for Urzelina on S. Jorge.
I believe I have found the baptismal record for my maternal
grandfather's father, Manuel
