of the port. There is a patch there put there by the maintainer (for
unknown reasons) which disables backtrace. Reverse out the patch and
cd work/bacula* ; make ; cd ../.. ; rm work/.pack* ; make package
and you'll have enabled backtrace support.

Is there any debug I can enable on the filedaemon to figure out what
it thinks is wrong? Nothing is being logged...

confusing me.
Also, look up the
documentation to the setip command - that one can cause you lots of
fun :-)
