I would also like to know when the U-boot overlays changed from being inactive
to being active. Is it specifically during the reboot into the new kernel?

I am running a custom image of Debian Stretch on BBB, downgraded
to 4.4.54-ti-r93. On this
image, /sys/devices/platform/bone_capemgr/baseboard/serial-number exists.
However after I perform an upgrade to 4.4.113-ti-r146 using sudo
/opt/scripts/tools/update_kernel.sh --ti-channel --lts-4_4,
Thank you!

Hi,
Using "Debian 9.3 2018-01-28 4GB SD IoT", I want to stop and remove
Node-Red that's listening on port 1080. How do I do this? I already stopped
and disabled:
bonescript.socket
bonescript.service
bonescript-autorun.service
cloud9.socket
cloud9.service
Thanks.

Hi,
I was just writing to introduce myself and our open-source project
SolarNetwork. This is an energy management development platform that
comprises a client-side device that runs on an SBC (we support Beaglebone)
to collect information from devices like solar inverters, charge
controllers

Nuking sysctl -n vm.min_free_kbytes in functions.sh::prepare_environment()
gets rid of that problem, but script chokes on the next step, determining
root drive, apparently due to issues with presence of proc at this point..

I have a camera from ASI (178MM) that I want to use. When I plug it in, it
shows up in lsusb but /dev/video0 is not created. I can talk to it to set
parameters but obviously image capture does not work.
I brought in an old Microsoft webcam, plugged it in, and it works, so it's
not a hardware

What VM software do you plan on using that emulates ARM?

root@beaglebone:/home/debian# make src/arm/BB-I2C1-00A0.dtb
make: *** No rule to make target 'src/arm/BB-I2C1-00A0.dtb'. Stop.

So i need to create a dtb file for some custom hardware.
I made one 2 years ago that compiled correctly
on the latest IOT image it does not compile.
So i figure, hey maybe something has changed
so i pull the /opt/source/bb.org-overlays/src/arm/BB-I2C1-00A0.dts file
to a temp directory and try to
You can easily do this. I gave a talk about this at DEFCON 2 years ago
called One Device to Pwn Them All. You should be able to find this online
multiple places. It is also in my latest book USB Forensics.

Hi all,
I have been trying to find a resource on how to extract the image I have on
my BeagleBone Black's eMMC to a micro SD card. I know that this can be done
by using the script located at
/opt/scripts/tools/eMMC/beaglebone-black-make-microSD-flasher-from-eMMC.sh,
