We are looking for an appliance to manage our ActiveSync devices. We have meet
with Zenprise, and looked at their solutions. We just had a webinar with McAfee
who apparently has a MDM solution as well. Not to different from the Zenprise
solution. For android devices we have tested with the
Art, does MaaS360 allow integration with Active Directory. I looked at the
Apple Configurator but getting a Mac to use is harder than purchasing a MDM
solution.

The iphone configuration utility is a separate utility from the Apple
configurator.

I would check the version of the COD file(s). Verify that the COD is updated on
both Exchange and BES server.

My company is pushing to open activesync to start testing Iphones. I have
nothing against the iphone but in a business I feel the Blackberry is better
designed. Has anyone else had this issue and what argument pieces did you find
to support your case?

From my experience the best way is to use RoveIT. This will allow you to

Correct or you can use BBSAK and do a factory restore, this removes the IT
policy as well and puts the phone back to factory settings.

If you plug the phone in to the desktop manager there is a section under email

This is true in Exchange as well. Local Distro groups can not be synch'd.

I just did the this same thing this morning. You are correct, just make
sure you use the besadmin account when doing the install as it will
change your service credentials if you don't
