Does new/changed rescan for photos work for everyone else ? For me it takes a lot of time even if I haven't modified any photos, it basically seems to do a full rescan. I have the photos on a samba share, maybe the modification detection doesn't work on network drives ? -- erland Erland

After having huge problems with 7.6.1 I went ahead and installed the 7.7 beta onto my Windows Home Server yesterday evening. Also, since I can not get SB Server to work with my iTunes library any longer I switched it to do a simple scan of my music folder as well as importing some of my iTunes

I lied, it's still busted. Every time an alarm for an m3u playlist activates for my SB Radio, the Squeezebox Server software appears to crash and become unresponsive. The SB Radio plays the default annoying as hell wave file as the wake up sound. Then, to top it all off, several minutes later,

The player updated FW after I upgraded SBS to 7.7, I can confirm what version it is running but it's probably the newest/latest one. I have tried creating/editing the alarm on the player itself, as well as using iPeng to do it. In both cases it fails. I will try it with a smaller playlist a

This seems to be an issue unique for the sparc version. I'm running 7.7.0RC2 on a ReadyNas Ultra (x86) and it works OK. Not perfect since I still have some issues with the scanner, but I can access the web interface without any problem. Hopefully they will fix it so its working for sparc too
