Firmware version 61 makes my Squeezebox2 very slow and unresponsive.
I often had to do a factory reset after firmware upgrades to have it work
smoothly again. Unplug the device, press and hold the ADD button while
plugging it in again. You'll have to reconfigure the network.

crashing the server? Today if a plugin is behaving badly, the server just
goes away. In 7.0 exceptions in plugins are caught, SlimServer will
continue
with no devices active Slim.exe is using upto 50% of the CPU all the

You can't. It will automatically scan as soon as you install it and define
a music path. Depending on the size of your collection and the performance
of your machine this can take a few minutes/hours (on

network shares. You'll have to make it run using your credentials (or some

By default I.E will look for favicon.ico at the root of the web site
you're browsing.
I don't know why slimserver is handling it this way, but if you request
favicon.ico, it will take mypage.ico. The client (browser) doesn't know about
this. SS is handling it.

On the Home page when you move the cursor down the left hand menu the
cursor will get to the button below but the option above will still be
highlighted.

- put a shortcut to d:\Eigene Musik in M:
- go to My Music/Music Folder/Eigene Musik
- I see the song in there, can add it, play it

OK, should not be an issue as this is happening since I first used the
new skin (which also was with the nightly build of 2007-09-02. I just
checked again and cleared the browser cache but it's immediately
re-appearing.
Could you please install Firebug and see what such an item's properties
- When I try to hit the 'Save Setting' button, it is below the bottom
of my screen. If I maximize the window, then I can just see a few
pixels of the top edge of the button. Once I press the button, then
everything resizes and I see the entire button. (Using IE7)
