I think it's meant that when the power is connected to the computer, it
automatically turns on as if it was suspended instead of actually being
powered off.
In other words, does the computer actually get told to turn off, or do you
just disconnect the UPS power supply to it?
That might be

I wonder if you could create a list of groups each containing 20 members. It
might not work but it sounds like it's worth a try.

Go to Tools menu, select Options dialog, and on the General page, type
google.com in the edit field. Tab to Okay button, hit Space, and google
will be set as your default home page in IE 8.

That's what I have done. But in order to get everyone in a group list, I have

The only other option is to create a mailing list as somebody else suggested
probably on Yahoo Groups which you most likely don't know how to do

Hi all. For Christmas my folks are going to get me a Victor Stream
or a comparable device. I really don't know a lot about which players are
the best on the market, but I've heard the most about the Victor Stream and
will most likely go with that one.
I'm looking for advice on where to
A lot of places sell the victor stream for the same price. One place to
look is www.humanware.com

large, but I have no restrictions.

Go to yahoogroups.com and go to the 3 easy steps to create a group. I own 2
groups, and they both have almost 400 members, once it's set up, it's as
easy as pie. You send out 1 message, and everyone gets it.

Google also has very fine groups http://groups.google.com/
The question, of course, is: Which is more accessible?

Do you have Nokia PCSuite installed? If so then its PCSync application
runs in the tray and the not connected means no phones are connected and
ready to be synchronized.

Hi. Thanks. That prompts another question. The NLS version of the VR
Stream... would it also play books I download from Bookshare? I mean if I
can borrow the NLS player and it's versatile enough for my needs, it might
be better than buying one since they aren't cheap. Maybe.

Ah, it sounds like no matter what, the price may pretty much be what it's
going to be. I'll have to concentrate more on warrantees and things like
that before a purchase instead. thanks for the link.

It depends on which service you are using. The program for this list is the
hardest to get a handle on but it is the most comprehensive. It is called
mailman but it only comes with certain web hosting packages. I can have as
many lists as I want to create but 3 is enough for me right now.
