I replaced the original folding prop with a Flex-o-fold and have been

prop may be overpitched or your tach may not be right or you have a problem
with the engine.

I strongly support what Bill and Andy said about a possible different prop.
One other important consideration for a two bladed prop is the amount of
space
between the prop tip

Hi Sam,
Why not get rid of the motor and drive gear and buy a coil of rope.
Then you can have less drag, less motoring and more knots :)

Sam,
How do you plan to use the prop? Racing,
cruising, or a mix, do you expect to motor a
significant amount of time
My 26 currently has a 12" x 8" RH, 3 blade, fixed prop. 7/8" shaft. (2GM20F - 13 1/2 hp)It's getting to the stage where I should start looking for a folding or feathering prop. What do I need!I've got room for up to about 14".I'm on a mooring, so reverseing is not a big issue. sam :-)
