It's Saturday and as I was driving north on Colorado Boulevard I was distracted by white somethings in the sky.  Colorado Blvd. on a Sat. morning is not a good  a place  to be distracted.  Luckily, I hit a red light and was able to observe six or seven White Pelicans circling Cherry Creek

I stopped by City Park yesterday (Saturday), looking at trees FULL of Cormorant nests.  After looking and looking, finally  found the owl nest (Great-horned) about half way up one of the trees covered with Double-crested Cormorant nests.  LOTS.  She was on the nest, seemed to be moving
