Waxwings feeding on crab apple fruit along S Prince St at Maplewood Ave,
adjacent to the north end of Littleton Cemetery. Initially I heard a few

times on 8th street, from Massachusetts to one block north, about 30 minutes
ago. I saw it once, about 1/2 way along the block, flying from one conifer to
another in a backyard on east side of street.

I saw the Thrush at 0900 and was able to show another birder. There are
pull-outs along the road to Seven Falls from Starsmore. It was between 3
and 4 on the edge of the stream near an open water patch. It was with a
flock of Robins. Several other species were drinking there also.

Many thanks to Buzz Schaumberg for posting the Varied Thrush he found in
his Mission Viejo neighborhood. I saw the bird this morning at 7:30 in the
apple tree previously described. With all of the branches and small twigs,
I got a documentation photo which can be seen at the following
