Also, I have had as many as seven White-winged Doves at my feeders this month
but the past few days I have only seen one.

A quick stop at Lake George and we were able to turn up a Swamp Sparrow at the
south end. I am not sure what it is about this area but Swamp Sparrows seem to
like it as there seems to be at least one found there every fall.

We also had a CATTLE EGRET in a field on the west side of county line road and
just south of HWY 52. It had a rather large toad that it was trying to get
down. I assume the toad was a Woodhouse's Toad?

location near Road JJ and 16. We also had a male EVENING GROSBEAK at the Las
Animas Cemetery.
