granted by most birders. At the March 28 DFO meeting, Bob Stocker and Chuck
Hundertmark will share their thoughts on “The Double-crested Cormorant:
Exemplar of Human/Wildlife Conflict.” In an interactive presentation, Bob
Nathan Pieplow is the author of the forthcoming Peterson Field Guide to Bird
Sounds, and the founder of the website www.Earbirding.com. He is one of the
authors of the Colorado Birding Trail, and a former editor of the journal
Colorado Birds. In this talk, Nathan will show how the vocal repert

Dave Leatherman served as the forest entomologist for the Colorado State Forest
Service from 1974 to 2005. He is active in the Colorado Field Ornithologists,

Scoter with a group of Coots. At about 11am it was best seen from Prairie Loop
