Which would be simplified by Matt's idea, but I cannot judge on if that's
techically possible.

This was what i found out yesterday. Setting the AP to 802.11g was
the only way i could make it work. The sad part of this is that many
public and other APs don't run 802.11g so this solution only helps on
my own AP. Out of the house its not so easy to get a connection.

I got my Freerunner on Friday and have been messing with various images, but
have not gotten GPS to work until just a few moments ago. I just want to
share with others (and archive for myself) which combination of images
allows me to get a good GPS signal right after first boot.

The following happened: after I started this thread 2 days ago, my FR (after
rebooting) wouldn't let me connect via ssh (usb) any more -- I guess this

Well I can now get it running without sound but I can't seem to solve
the audio issue. I don't have pulseaudio installed and there is no
/dev/dsp so I can't find anything to check with lsof. I'm all out of
gum, I mean, ideas. :-)
FSO MS2 with no upgrades AFAIK (opkg upgrade segfaults for me).
Quake for iPhone has a nice overlay which would be handy to see on the
Freerunner [1]. Good work nonetheless guys! And some kind of way to
reset "stationary" would be nice - say if you were playing lying down in
bed.
