More information: I think I've found part of the problem (me), in that I
have been putting my files in CMy Music and not all the way in the
iTunes folder. I just assumed that when I imported the MP3's from My
music, that they would automatically go into the iTunes folder but they
didn't.
Ugh!!!
I just took a look at the SD card standards description on Wikipedia and
it's not pretty!

It explains my mystery of not finding a mainstream non SDHC 4GB card.
Apparently, mainstream vendors moved to SDHC when manufacturing that

What is the proper/best sequence to get the music into iTunes so that
it will stay there?
WinXP, iTunes 7.5.0.20
Well, to start with, an exclamation point means that iTunes couldn't

Thanks for the Apple primer. I guess I wanted to make it harder than I
thought it had to be (hey, I come from a Windows background :-( ). It
looks like dragging a folder copies all the songs into iTunes while
dragging a song actually deletes it from the folder. Good distinction to

Sometimes I see the term web content development or developer. This seems

Don't make the mistake I made when I was a beginning professional
photographer. Don't think you're only worth what a burger flipper
makes. Charge high, very high! Either get it or turn it down and keep
your prices high. When they pay it, it will make up for the jobs you
